I travelled to Nelson to try a new optical business instead of the one that I've been using for the last forty years. I was looking forward to seeing what a business in Nelson had to offer. I went into the store excited to see all of the variety. I found many pairs of glasses that I liked and wanted to try. I had a substantial amount of benefit dollars and I thought I might easily be able to find something. I have never before been so poorly treated by customer service representatives. One of the women working even had the audacity to ask me how much benefit money I had. I did my best to try to shop in peace but the inquisition and comments continued. I finally had had enough and left the shop. I walked down the street and found a business where I was treated warmly, free to try on glasses in peace. I ended up purchasing a prescription pair of sunglasses and two other pairs of prescription glasses. These people were helpful and grateful to accept my money.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was so impressed with the service I got at L' Optique in December, I decided to make an exception. I had tried on a couple of frames 3 months before. When I called to inquire about stock, and the woman (Deborah?) actually remembered me, and the frames I'd tried on. I got her to order a specific frame in from NYC for me. She was extremely together, professional and (to my surprise) had the lenses I wanted in stock, so she got my prescription lenses cut for me within a couple of hours. It's rare to get such service and a great feeling from a retailer. They really understand Customer Service - just like most stores did in the past. So hard to find these days. Highly recommended!

This is my go-to place for glasses - a lot of the styles this store carries can't be found anywhere else in town - reminds me a lot of what I would find in the lower mainland. Customer service is top notch. Warranty is top notch as well. Highly recommend this place.

This store has amazing customer service and a great selection of glasses. They have a larger selection of modern glasses than I've seen in most stores. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for plus a few other pairs. The prices are great and they had my glasses to me with in a couple days.

Customer Service - well above average! I wandered into this store in Nelson, and the owner noticed I was wearing a pair of "I.C. Berlin" glasses. They are high end frames, handmade in Berlin, and have no screws in the hinge. While talking, I mentioned that I was having a problem with one arm being a bit loose. She took them in the back and added a pair of special I.C. Berlin clips, (which she had in stock) to resolve the problem, but wouldn't take any money for the repair. I had bought them on Robson St. in Vancouver, so she had no reason to assist me. I was truly surprised and impressed. I decided right then and there that I'd return when I need new frames. That kind of service really deserves by business. Highly recommended A++++

She knows her stuff, talks and walks you through it and makes you feel welcome and valued as a customer (unlike the competition down the street 2 blocks). Thanks, Deborah. We will spread the word.

I love this place. I have bought so many pairs of glasses here. The customer service is excellent. Such a warm, inviting and stylish place to shop. There are always lots of styles to chose from - designer glasses and also a great selection of well priced frames on sale. The owner is always happy to spend time discussing the product and I always leave feeling like I was well taken care of. Bravo L'Optique!
