I don’t usually leave reviews, but I got new glasses from Highview Optical recently and it was definitely a noteworthy experience! Great prices, and a very knowledgable team who helped me decide on the frames that would fit me best. They even adjusted my previous glasses at no cost - they felt better on my face than they had in a year. I’ll definitely be going to them for all things glasses from now on.

My husband usually gets contacts here, so when he needed more I popped in and asked to order some. The lady told me she's ordering a trial pair of new contact lenses for him. I asked how long they would take to come in, she said about a week. I let her know that my husband needed them for work and he has about three weeks left on his last pair of contacts. I called two weeks after I had been in..she said they were on the way. I called a week after that, she said she had one contact lens but the other have been shipped to the wrong location. I went two weeks after that, which was five weeks after I had originally been in, she maintained the contact lens was on it's way. I told her my husband needs contact lenses for work or he literally can't go. She gave me some trial contact lenses that were close to his prescription, but not quite, so he could continue to go to work. It's now been 2 and 1/2 months since I requested contact lenses and have not gotten a call saying there in...or call it all. This is the second time this establishment has done this to me. I should have known better, but I thought I'd give them another chance.

Fantastic Customer service! Was in for my first pair of progressive lenses. I got more useful information in 2 minutes than from all of the other 6 stores I visited before Highview. I placed my order and was told it would be 10 days because of extra coatings. I live out of town but stopped in after a week because I happen to be in the area. My lenses were in but my glasses were not ready, but my tech finished my glasses in 45 minutes so I wouldn't have to drive back. I'm so impressed I will go back in the future. Thank you Highview!

Very conflicted. This place has great prices and amazing staff BUT when I went in with broken glasses (I need them to see at all) they said they could get my prescription faxed and if not they'd call me. Well over a week later I call to see when I can pick up my glasses and low and behold, they couldn't get it. Didn't call. They asked me to call back in a bit sp they could have a look for it and after calling 3 or 4 times (over the course of an hour) they had turned off the phones. If this whole situation gets remedied I will update my review and probably give more stars but as of right now this really sucks...

Their customer service is amazing. I brought my prescription to them and they made the lenses and got them to me ASAP, they also had a huge selection of frames. In June of 2015 my first pair of glasses was lost while hiking, they had me come in and select a new frame which they made lenses for and then gave to me for free. In September of 2015 the right lense shattered, I accidentally left them on the dashboard in the sun all day. They proceeded to cut the lenses for me and ship them to me in Vancouver for free again! They also provided me with my Rx in case I wanted to have the lenses cut over here instead of waiting for shipping.

Have been waiting 3 months for my contacts and get "they were sent to the wrong address" I have heard this too much sounds like an excuse to me. Would not recommend this place for contacts unless you have the time to wait . maybe they should correct the issue of the "wrong address " Going somewhere else tired of exscuses.

Came in here to find glasses for myself. I found a pair but wanted to look around some more so I got a quote for the glasses (prescription and all). I came back a week later as I decided to get the glasses. I spoke to another woman in the shop and we found the same glasses. SHE went and gave me a quote for the same glasses and prescription. THE EXACT SAME PACKAGE. This time, however I got a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRICE. This one was much lower. These people are shady and shifty. Not only that, but they're all older, crotchety women who have massive attitudes, making you feel like you are bothering them. They are NOT cut out for customer service work.

My experience was identical to Anita's, the review below me. I honestly can't understand how this place stays in business. And how in the world do they have so many positive google reviews?? I went to this place nearly 6 weeks ago and showed them my prescription. The lady showed me 2 or 3 pairs of glasses but said that she would order more in to show me for next week. Next week came and went and when I called on Friday to ask what happened, she didn't offer an apology but only said they will be in the following week because they were sent to "the wrong location". Well if you read the review below this one, that same excuse was used with her. Perhaps it's time to use a new courier? (No we don't believe that they were actually sent to the wrong location) The following week came and went and still nothing. The next week I just popped by and she told me she had more frames to show me. Again, no explanation about why I didn't get a call or an apology. I picked out a frame but was told that she would order in the same frame in a different color so that I could pick one. I don't know why she offered this as I was totally fine with the color I had chosen but I regrettably agreed. As I'm sure you can guess, the next week came and went and I got no phone call. I finally called and the older, terribly miserable woman offered no apology and no explanation. In fact, she then claimed that the delay was my fault because they hadn't received my prescription until "last week" which was simply false. Furthermore, why does one need a prescription to order in a different color frame??? She told me they couldn't order the lenses but the younger woman told me they cut the lenses on site. When questioned about her made up excuse she abruptly and rudely interrupted me and said, "we will call you when they are ready". When pressed when that might be, she said "possibly tomorrow". I told her I would take my business elsewhere if the glasses weren't ready the next day. As I'm sure you can guess, I never received a call from them the next day. What a complete and total waste of nearly two months. Again, I don't get how this place remains in business. I certainly will never go back there and will tell everyone I know of the horrible experience I had. To give credit where due, the younger woman (I believe it is mother and daughter that run it) was absolutely lovely to deal with. The older woman was miserable every time I went in and certainly on the phone. It's too bad. I had high hopes. If you don't want to literally waste weeks and weeks of your time, don't go here for glasses.

Had a long wait for my new glasses 8 weeks due to various circumstances. Was ready to give up but they gave me a new frame and the lab gave me lens. The staff do try and please and make up for the lab and courier short comings. Thanks

These ladies!!!!!! Ive dealt with Laura I think thats her name.....her picture should be in the dictionary beside customer service. She goes above and beyond everytime, knows her craft so well, and is soooooooo good at picking frames for you. I am super picky, always try hundreds before I can find anything and she just picks them off the shelf and BAM! EXACTLY what youre asking for and perfect fit!

Our order this time was delayed several weeks, but Laura more than made up for it with monetary compensation , apologies and great service.
