The doctors were very knowledgeable, I've gone to a few optometrist. I really like these doctors, they can find underlying conditions that you weren't aware of. Super helpful and will continue to proceed better care for my eyes. Not to mention the opticians that work there! They are super amazing, very knowledgeable on what type of lens are needed for my prescription. Everyone should be getting blue light filter lens!!! On top of that a smoking deals on frame+lenses. And they direct bill? Ok Great experience for my first time

I just have to share the wonderful experience I just had with Eye Plus. I was on an emergency trip to Nanaimo from Vancouver during Covid. In rushing out I realized that I forgot to include my contacts into my bag. I called Eye Plus to see if I could purchase some contacts during the shutdown so that I could drive back home and they went out of their way to see if they had any trials in my prescription that could be extended. Within an hour, I not only had a replacement set but they were also delivered straight to my door. Now that was unbelievable service and generosity. Thank you for being such a lifesaver from the bottom of my very full heart. I highly recommend you and acknowledge your outstanding service.

This team is incredible! My glasses came in super quick and the Dr Panesar added a boost to my lenses that I didn’t even think I ever needed but it has helped so much with how much I read. I had some secondary issues going on with my eyes and Dr Panesar and the whole team pushed and were in constant contact to make sure that I was seeing specialists to help get to the bottom of it. They did not need to do it but they cared about patient care and did not stop until they found out what was wrong. It is so rare to find doctors like that, and I’m so grateful and cannot recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Eye Plus Optometry. An added bonus is they service several Gulf Islands which is a really awesome service. Be sure to ask if you require that. Had a great first experience at Eye Plus this morning. It's a fresh and organized office - opened in March 2019. Was greeted by Ashley and brought in shortly to see Dr. Vik. Both were jovial and obliging. The check up went smoothly and was comfortable. I recommend going here for your optometry appointments.

I can rave enough about Eye Plus' impeccable customer service. I had my first eye exam there a few days ago and it was by far better and more thorough than any other eye exam I have ever had. The staff and optometrists are all very nice and professional and their selection of glasses is fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of an eye exam and a nice pair of glasses. I had two extremely positive experiences over the past two weeks with Ashley and Dr. Gary at Eye Plus. Both were professional, fun, kind, and helpful. Dr. Gary even took the time to show me my "fair" retinas and talk about how to care for them in the sun. He also took the time to ask about eye makeup removal and how to be kinder to my eyes when taking off makeup. I was so impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, as well as him taking the extra time for those explanations. Ashley was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable when it came to frames and lens options. Eye Plus also does outreach with different community groups supporting elders and children and their vision care, which I love! Again, I couldn't be happier with my experiences at Eye Plus and will be back in the future. Thank you!

Very happy with both mine and my daughters eye appointments with Dr. Gary today. It was my daughters first eye exam and she was a bit nervous but he quickly put her at ease. Thorough eye exam and thoughtful advise given. The front end staff are lovely and helpful as well.

From the moment you walk in to this bright pleasant office you are greeted by Ashley, the friendly, knowledgeable & helpful receptionist/assistant to Dr Jassal. There is coffee & comfortable seating, the doctor was on time, & communicated very well regarding the health of my eyes. Hands down the best experience at an optometrist. After suffering with some eye problems in silence for years, Dr. Gary quickly identified what my issues were and promptly put me on a treatment plan. I really appreciated the fact that he didn't pressure or "shame" me for choosing to wear eyelash extensions, even though it was against his recommendation. He understood they cost alot and respected my wishes to not use oil based products with them as to not break down the glue. He ended up working around my wishes and waited until I decided I was done with them to proceed with some other treatments. The whole staff there is amazing, I feel like they all care and I really appreciate all the follow up calls and check ins, it really makes you feel like they value your business. Happy I finally found my forever optometrist!

Absolutely impressed. The Dr. Was the most patient (no pun intended ) and more thorough then my previous Optometrist. I left feeling important and was extremely happy with the help I received from the front staff(Ashley). I stepped out and went for the Dr's recommended, Nikon Progressive lens. And wow, i mean wow, ive had glasses ranging from 300 too 1400 it's only after getting the Dr's recommended Nikon Progressives, that I felt impressed enough to review, I seldom do. I had no idea Nikon made eye lenses. If I had anything to demerit them for, it would be access to there office as you can only enter going North on Island hwy but now I know to simply go around the block. Well worth it... price... professional and compassionate. 5 stars in my book.

My experience from the time |I walked through the door was very good, Ashley was exceptional she was friendly and very knowledgeable. She had a great sense of humor. It was nice to see this. The doctor was friendly and outgoing, he answered my questions concerning what he was going to do. I not found a doctor that was ready to explain what was going on with every step of the examination. I will continue to come back to his office for future exams.

I will be for ever grateful to have found this clinic, Dr Panasar and his amazing team. The most thorough, professional and genuinely caring Dr one could hope to find. I have severe blepharitis, MGD and rosacea and was really struggling to get things under control. Dr Panasar has tailored a regimen of treatment for me which to date, has really produced results, and my appointments were followed up by a ph call, which was really appreciated. What a difference to the two previous clinics I attended. I am so pleased, and relieved to be in the hands of this eye care team!

I had to leave this review for Dr Jassal and staff because they are an incredibly professional and friendly team. I went for an eye check-up, and everything went smoothly and thoroughly. Even though I had so many questions about all sorts of things, Dr Jassal and staff answered them with patience and care. I can’t even explain in words how satisfied I am of their care! I’m so glad that Nanaimo finally has young and talented doctors/staff who are professional and full of energy. I also brought my brother here & he found his experience comfortable and thorough as well. This is an amazing buisness, very professional. They got me in short notice, set me up with some wicked new glasses. After having my glasses for only a couple months I scratched them, gave eye+ optometry a call and not only did they get me some new lenses in a quick orderly fashion, but they also gave me a deal on my new lenses! Service was good and the doctor and staff were nice. But they forgot to stamp the eye exam form for my L driver’s license and didn’t provide me a receipt cause they had a issue with their machine (told me to email but didn’t) so I waited at ICBC to submit the form and had to come back to the store to get the stamp, went back to ICBC and waited again. It was such a frustrating day, I wish they didn’t forget to stamp the form so I didn’t have to waste $$ on the road and my time. If you are going there for your eye exam for your vision test, make sure you got their stamp so you won’t waste your day and money like me.
