Dr. Eng has been providing excellent vision care for me since my cancer treatment which can affect the eyes, plus those darn "floaters"! I have every confidence in his skills and diagnosis. I am on a yearly exam program to make sure everything is as it should be. Super caring and friendly, I even had a call from him to talk to me about an issue when he was in the North Island treating other patients in his outreach work.

The staff are always very helpful and they listen to what you want unlike some other offices that try and push sales Stanley’s office is superb and they care about their jobs and professionalism and go out of their way to help the people who come through their door. I am planning on getting myself a new pair of glasses after a couple years and will be happy to be their patient :)

I had my first appointment with Dr. Eng and his staff today and was so happy with the quality care and attention I received! My time spent with Dr Eng was not rushed at all and focused on wholistic eye care and advice, not only diagnostics and prescription. The support staff was amazing and supportive. Very helpful with choosing new frames and providing feedback to help me choose glasses within my budget. No pushy sales talk at all .... a nice atmosphere where meeting clients needs comes first in an atmosphere of hospitality! Would highly recommend!

I recently went to Dr. Eng's office with broken glasses, they had been held together with scotch tape for a couple days. As soon as I walked it I explained my situation, they pulled up my file and within minutes they had a new fixed pair of glasses for me, they fit them to my head and that was that, they were under warranty so there was no charge.

Dr. Eng was available (through a phone call with his staff) for consultation regarding a non-emergency concern when the office was recently closed. I received an appointment for an exam on the first day the office was opened after the COVID-19 related closure; and then returned a week later to pick up new glasses. Everyone on the team wears a mask. All are reassuring and conscientious in their approach to the "new normal." Patients text or call the office from outside, are welcomed at the street level door and escorted upstairs to the office. Once there, hand sanitizer is provided and distancing measures are made obvious. Patients are asked questions regarding any recent symptoms or exposure to the virus. Answers are recorded and a signature is requested. Care is taken to disinfect, and label as cleaned, every surface touched by patients. Dr. Eng's office has always been a place where we can go to receive top notch expertise and care in a friendly and professional setting. That continues in these challenging times with additional, dedicated attention to safety protocol. Thank you to another group of health care front liners!
