Bought four pairs of glasses (two for myself, and two for my son) on Sep 11. Gloria is nice and professional.
This place is very Unorganized in terms of providing services to customers, and needs awareness to some of the opticians for customer service. In the store there is a printed notice that claims to provide services by appointments only, however, first of all, this information is neither shown on their website nor played in their optical helpline at the moment. This is equivalent to say that a customer would have not known of this appointment only rule without physically being in the store already. Secondly, I actually did call them multiple times throughout the day, but the calls were never answered. So, I had to do walk-in and was waiting in front of the store with others. During the first over-an-hour waiting, no one greeted customers waited there or asked any customers if they have appointments or not. Note that an old gentleman who came after me tried to ask if they can help, but was simply ignored, because as per the female optician explained an hour later “I was with other customers and too busy to even pick up a phone call” - but I meant, since you already saw customers waiting there for really long, you could have at least asked customers to confirm if any appointments so that they don’t end up wasting their time waiting for nothing, right? Not to mention during the over-an-hour waiting, I observed that the female optician was busy more with chatting in other language while helping with a single customer for likely unnecessarily long, which consequently led to a late delivery of service to her next customer who has an appointment but was made to wait despite coming in on time. What happened at the end of my experience at this place was, after waiting for more than an hour, finally another young male optician came to the store and checked availability for us who are waiting (the female optician did not even bother to check availability and just told us to call to make an appointment on another day) and he was able to find a time slot later and helped us then. This young male optician is very nice and professional though, complete opposite to the other female optician. Overall, I would not recommend anyone who is not able to make an appointment over their never-answering helpline to come to this place for buying eyeglasses. Especially considering the very unpleasant customer service offered by one of the opticians. The only reason I shopped at this place was because of the PC points promotion at the time. And, I find the total price I paid is a lot more than many other local optical stores that have more reasonable and competitive pricing on most brand frames. Also sarcastically, the store has a printed notice saying store capacity is 4 people due to social distancing, but, there were 5 customers shopping simultaneously in the store when I got there. I would really want to give eyeglasses shopping experience at this place a 1 star rating instead of 3 stars now, if without the young male optician there who actually cares to help.
I got glasses here and it will be the last time... bad warrenty replacements. They took over 3 months to get my glasses. Delay delay delay .... They dont anwser their phones most the time and if were being honest you can get better prices.... avoid this place go see a real optometrist they can not even keep a actual optometrist on staff and keep contracting them out and no one stays on staff ... clearly problems at this place .... i do not want a call back or to deal with them again...
Munir is an absolute gentleman!!! So very helpful, knowledgeable & patient to my family as we all need new glasses at the same time. Glasses were ready in a very timely matter and I cant say enough about the AMAZING customer service Munir provided!! Thank you again, Sir!!
Looks like a decent place. The day I visited was a Sunday and it was closed. They have brand names, but it would most likely be very expensive. Much more affordable places to go to, like pacific mall and other opticals. Ps, not open on a Sunday? Guess they don’t want busy business.
What a fantastic experience! I was in today and Munir and Jessica took amazing care of my family . We all chose our glasses and they were super helpful with our insurance needs as well as helping us choose the right items for our lifestyle. We took advantage of a optimum point event too boot! Overall fantastic experience! They have a wide variety of frames starting at $49.00 and they were cute too! Kids deals as well.
Absolutely disappointed experience.... This is not a way to run a business.... How can you be so unprofessional.... How can you even be in business .... You really should think !!!!!! about all this negative review!!! I will definitely follow up and personally talk with the GM. Of this store.

Thank you Munir for so graciously carrying out adjustments for my glasses. I am delighted to have found Theodore & Pringle Optical at RCSS in St Catharines. From the time you checked the specifications, through the ordering process, through the fast order completion, delivery, check-up fitting and adjustments due to wear and tear, it has been the best optical experience I have had in nearly 20 years of obtaining optical services in three different provinces.
I haven't gotten any opportunity to really make time to do a medical check up since I visited Canada last year, its college ups and downs and part working ups and downs. But thankfully I have been in good health. My first experience with this optical center have been remarkable and helpful.
I went in the evening on Tuesday September 10, 2019. We dealt with a middle aged gentleman who wore glasses. He was really nice and accomodating. He was really busy and dealing with another unrelated but important issue but was able to put new lenses in my son's glass frame. We have had great service from this place.
This is my first time in my life to finally have a pair of glass, so I don't have any experience wearing a glass. Joseph is the gentleman I deal with when I first arrived the store and he gave me a very detailed information about by-focus/progress on my vision and suggest me for the best options on the choice I should take. I am really very grateful for his service and his professional experience.
Great service! Amazing deals! Purchased 4 pairs in the last 5 years. You must check out their 2 for one and half off promotions which happen at least twice a year. Selections are limited but you can bring your own frames if you wish.
Came in today to book an eye appointment for my mother. Was treated very poorly and felt very disrespected by the elderly Asian gentleman who claims it is his optician. My mother had a simple question about how the doctor is and how long he has been working at this clinic. I was told that if I was living in Canada I would know not to ask such a question and that he is “his” doctor so he is good. Pretty upsetting experience to say the least. We had a customer in front of us who he was very respectful to and as soon as it was our turn we weren’t allowed in to the clinic because of covid protocols. I understand the protocols but my question is why were we profiled for these covid protocols and not the lady in front of us? In the middle of asking questions he comes towards and gives us santizer in a disgusted tone. Unless you want to feel like someone’s looking down at you I would not recommend this place. Very very upsetting and would not recommend this place to my enemy.
Joe, the Optician in this store is terribly rude and very unprofessional. I had scheduled an appointment with The Store Manager (Gloria) to bring in my son's broken glasses for replacement. She asked us to come into the store to pick a new frame since our previous frame has been discontinued by the manufacturer. I specifically asked if I had to bring the broken frame during the appointment and she said no, I just have to bring it before I pick up the new glasses because they need to send it back to the lab. My Husband and son went for the appointment without the broken frame and Joe said they cannot pick a new frame and asked them to return later with the broken one. When I called to explain, he would not even look at Gloria's notes in our folder. He just kept yelling "I don't care who you spoke with before, you cannot pick a new frame" . He eventually listened and asked us to come back to the store. I reported this incident and was told he will be sent for training. The training obviously made no impact since he is still rude to paying customers. I do not go to this store anymore and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Who ever was working there seemed very lazy and didn’t want to do any work. Made the whole thing seem like an ordeal will never buy from them.

I just bought two glasses from Dr Munir and I can honestly say this is the best glass buying experience I have ever had. Whenever they have a sale, I will drop by again whenever I need a new glasses and recommend to anyone looking for glasses. I have gone to Costco and received nothing but subpar assistance. This is how it's done.
Horrible HORRIBLE place...pathetic and RUDE attitude of the salesperson (Joseph). Upon arriving I was rudely told that since I hadn't booked an appointment, I'd have to wait 1 hour - I said ok and after 15 mins I checked again and the guy was free (1 hour eh?). Prices completely off-market - when I politely inquired how come, I was kindly suggested by His Highness Mr.Joseph to shop elsewhere. That's exactly what I did. No wonder this awful place has a 2-star rating...even that's a stretch!
I typically don't write reviews but I have honestly never had better service in my life. Aside from the 40% off deals going on while buying my glasses, I received exceptional service from the Dr. Truly helpful, truly knowledgeable, truly personable. I plan to return here every time I have any optical needs and I would urge anyone to do the same. There's a decently decently large collection of frames to look at, the prices are unbeatable, and the service was a 12/10. Thank you! Edit: a year later and I am equally as pleased with my service! Each and every person that works there is so incredibly helpful and kind, I am genuinely always so happy with everything they do! They can easily turn a stressful situation into an easy experience! Thank you again!
The wait time is absolutely ridiculous… 5:30pm appointment did not start until 6:27. During the appointment the optician stops to help others adding to the delays! Just terrible service
The lady was not interested at all in booking an eye exam for me and they don't pick up their phone. All I got was "sorry..." please note that I'm a very friendly person.
