Not worth your money and time. My son went to fix the glasses in frame , we provided glasses and frame both. They broke the new frame cost of 214$ and they said they are not responsible. We gave brand new frame and they are returning broken frame then who is responsible for that. Also then didn't call us to inform we went to place twice and called many times to get it back then thay said its broke. Tout ça pour dire qu'une fois qu'on a trouvé un optométriste qui fait le boulot impeccablement, l'on accepte souvent de payer plus cher pour le service, la qualité et la tranquillité d'esprit. Mais cette année, l'ajout de la presbytie en plus de de la myopie et de l'astigmatisme, rendait le coût des lunettes à un niveau stratosphérique. D'autant qu'il y a lieu de penser qu'avec l'arrivée de la presbytie, des nouveaux verres seront nécessaires l'an prochain. J'ai un peu hésité à faire faux-bond à mon optométriste pour la réalisation de mes lunettes mais le montant usuraire pour les verres m'a convaincu d'essayer. J'ai d'abord écrit au service à la clientèle du Bonhomme à Lunettes pour lui faire part de mes préoccupations et on m'a fourni une réponse satisfaisante dans les 24h. J'ai donc pris un rendez-vous où j'ai pu répéter la même chose à la sympathique opticienne. J'ai finalement pris possession de mes nouvelles lunettes à trois composantes de correction et tout est parfait!!! Entièrement satisfait. On se revoit l'an prochain.

I needed new lenses due to an updated prescription. My quotes were from $200-$250 for lenses alone :( Online is not an option as there's no adjustments and I'd have to get new frames. I'm so glad I found Bonhomme à Lunettes! I went to the Tuesday booth near Place St.Henri. The staffs were so nice, and I received my glasses the next week. They readjusted my frames, which became quite loose, and also replaced one of my nose pad screws for free. I paid $140 total. I don't normally bother to leave reviews, but I was so delighted with the service that I received that I just feel like I have to write one. I was so close to buying my glasses online, but I am so glad I came here instead. All frames are $60, no exception. It's cheaper than what I'd found online and this way I got to try them on first. The lady who helped me choose frames was really nice and helpful. She was like your girl friend who'll give you her honest opinion on whether the frames look good on you or not. She made me feel super comfortable and that was exactly what I needed. I came in with my old broken glasses and Philippe Rochette took one look at them, took the lenses out, and placed them in one of their frames. He offered me the second pair for only $40. Now, this is what they call delighting the customer. I really appreciate what the company is doing. Prescription glasses are a necessity and should be made affordable. I'm very happy I finally found a way to beat Luxottica at their own game. Highly recommended.

I tried this place to get progressive type lemd eye glasses. I chose a frame with not many choices. I am wearing the glasses now, they are very heavy and the pads are digging into my nose sidings. Since then three time the lens drop out of the frame. They fixed every time I go there gladly,but I do not trust them anymore. I have to use my 7 years old glasses in transition. I paid them $380 for the glasses. I don't know how many more trip I have to make before they cave in r to poor quality glasses. Eyes are precious, do not go few $ saving, save on groceries if you can.
