Jazz and his crew are amazing. They truly care and go out of their way to help you. They go above and beyond to make sure you get the lenses and frames that work for you, both aesthetically and financially. Found them by chance just searching Google for an eye exam as i was in the area and so happy to have found them. You could tell just by how busy they were and how people all left with a smile and such praise, that they are really good. They have customers for life with me and my wife.

There is no other place you should go if you are in the GTA for any of your eye care needs. This is the best staff I’ve ever worked with in health care and you can tell they care. I actually needed an eye exam and contacts top up but instead of going any other place where I could get my eye exam done the next day I waited for a few weeks to get it done here because there’s no other staff I’d rather work with!

I was in a car accident and the frames of my glasses broke but the lenses were fine. They were able to help me find a new frame and within 10 minutes they were able to re-fit the lenses into the new frames. Truly appreciated the attention, speed and knowledge they had while helping my situation.

Written on behalf on Nicole Piaray: Dr Poonam Lakhani is inexperienced and unprofessional. I had my eyes examined by her in March at Kansa Optical in heartland. She prescribed me a much stronger prescription and said my eyes had had a lot worse. I paid kanda optical over $1000 and got my glasses. The first day of wearing my glasses I wouldn’t read on the computer screen at work , read in general and felt unsteady. I called Kanda Optical and they said wear the glasses for a week. I had to take time off work due to the headaches I was experiencing. Finally kanda said they would re-examine my eyes. They asked me to go to Bonlook in Square one where Dr Lakhani said she was ‘doing me a favour ‘ by re-examining my eyes. After she examined my eyes she said the prescription was accurate and that the issue was Kanda Optical in heartland has messed up the measurements for the lenses and my face. So I took the glasses back to Kanda in heartland and waited another 2 weeks. Finally got the glasses and the same issue. The customer service lady at Kanda said that Dr Lakhani was a reputable doctor and that there was nothing else to be done. After they took over a $1000 So I went to Imagine optical and had my eyes re-examined and guess what. This reputable DR LAKHANI had given me the wrong prescription by over 1.5 and that is why I was having headaches couldn’t read etc. So now Kanda Optical in heartland took the glasses again and will fit in the new prescription from imagine optical. So why am I not being reimbursed for Dr Lakhani inability to do her job properly? People work hard for their money - it does not fall off a tree. I paid for a service and DR LAKHNI failed in providing that service.

In the past 14 years I have recommended Kanda Optical Heartland to many of my relatives and friends and always received positive feedback. Only twice in the last 14 years, that I was not satisfied with the glasses and on both the occasions Jay was more than happy to help fixing the issue, even when he had to incur extra costs out of his pocket. Although, I never felt the need to visit any other optician, but I can confidently say that they are the best in customer satisfaction.
