We have been going to Kanda for more than 2 years now and their customer service exceeds expectations. I get glasses for both my kids here. My youngest son is prone to lot of accidents at school and ends up breaking his frame and/or lenses frequently that they recognize me the moment I enter the store. Each and every time they do their best to give me a good price. It was unfortunate that my son broke his frame twice within a span of 2 weeks recently and Neha was kind enough to replace it the first time at a great discount and when it again happened yesterday she just gave away the frame for free because I got the frame just a week back. Thank you so much Neha and all the incredible staff at Kanda Opticals, Confederation for the excellent service you are providing in this neighborhood.

Good optical store with fantastic staff and some of the best prices around! I went to a few places in Mississauga first to price shop and this was by far lowest with wide selection of frames. Got 3 pairs of glasses from them in last little while for me an my mother, excellent service every time. The optometrist hours are short on the weekends, but absolutely worth seeing him. He monitors my moms file and gets copies of all her work from a different surgical clinic. Above and beyond service compare to what we have had in the past. Highly recommend this location!

PROS - Great selection of frames, friendly staff (dealt with Neha), very accommodating when I had an issue with the lenses, gladly did adjustments to the frame for a proper fit. CONS - Main concern are markings on my lenses which are visible under certain lighting conditions, for example while watching TV. Which can be annoying. Had lenses inspected and said nothing wrong, but happily switched them. The sad thing is the same markings are also on the new glasses! Which tells me it is an issue with their machine used to cut the lenses to size, done at their Brampton location. Everyone who has had their glasses done at Kanda when the Brampton location cut and fit the lenses, will notice these markings. They are also on the sunglasses I got done, the old and new reading glasses. Also, I would rate Kanda as expensive for the frames and lenses, even with discounts provided.

My experience with Kanda Optical has been excellent. I have been visiting this place for more than four years. Zapping is quick, really like the selection of affordable glasses, including prescription glasses and sunglasses for men, women, and kids. Their optometrist got my eye exam wrong the first time and when I told them it doesn't feel normal they treated me like a little kid and told me it's a new pair of glasses and I'll get used to it. I've been constantly wearing my eye glasses for 20 years. I ended up going to another optometrist paying from my pocket so they can correct the lenses. When they did that the frame came stained with hard glue from their lab and had to complain before they agree to replace it. It took 3 weeks for me to walk out with my glasses and costed me extra for the eye exam. And the worst thing they never said sorry for any of that. Instead, they gave me an attitude of "we lost our profit on your transaction so we don't care about your business any more" Terrible place. Be aware where you spend your $$ Update: I was contracted by Neha from customers relation shortly after I posted my review. She explained to me that they are sorry for the bad experience and offered me a refund for the eye exam plus a replacement frame. I went to the store and she did give me the refund and helped me pick a new frame. The new frame was $40 more than the one I was wearing. When I came to pick the frame next day she didn't charge me the $40 and told me it's on the store. If I had this communication with Neha earlier I could've had a better experience. All and all, I'm satisfied with their resolution. I wish it happened earlier though. I'm adding three more stars.

Aggressive sales tactics, they ambush you by trying to get you to confirm you will be buying their frames on the phone or while you're waiting for your eye exam. Their prices are not worth the quality, I'm updating my other frames elsewhere. They are fumbling with my sister's contact lenses, and can't give us a straight answer. First they ordered the wrong ones, and they don't call us with any updates. It's been a month now and she doesn't have her contact lenses. Update- they gave us a call after reading my review posted above, and explained the situation on their end and owned up to errors on their part. I appreciate that, and the follow up! Nice to see that you reach out to customers who did not have a good experience. I really do encourage more transparency with your customers and less aggressive sales staff. Mistakes and delays happen, but the customer shouldn't be constantly following up for updates.

Best Optical store in the area, use to go to a store nearby for the past 7 years until I decided to give Kanda Optical a try. Kawal was a great help and she makes you feel comfortable and at home. Their products are fantastic and are 100% original. I had such a variety to choose from and couldn't put anything down. The price was very reasonable. I had been looking for glasses for a while, but couldn't find a store that had the ones I was satisfied with, until I came to Kanda Optical. The staff were very welcoming and allowed me to browse the shop without any pressure. Dr. Brar was available at the time so I was able to get a walk in exam done. He was very thorough and informative-he gave me tips on how to maintain my eye health which I appreciated. Kawal was very helpful in submitting my insurance claim. My glasses were ready on time although they did not call as promised- I just happened to be in the area so I thought I would ask if they were ready (which they were). I was also informed that it would be best if I came back to the same location for any adjustments. Overall the purchasing process was very pleasant- I am happy with my glasses and am looking forward to seeing how their after sales service is. One other thing to note is that I was not given an official receipt with the breakdown of what kind of lenses/frame I got. The receipt I got was very generic and I also had to ask for my prescription as it appears to be normal procedure for them to keep your prescription.

I visited Kanda Optics for the first time to buy a pair of sun glasses and was greeted by Kanwal. I have to say that it was so far the best customer service experience I have had so far.
