Very disappointing!! I have frequented this place more than a few times and have been very satisfied until this past week. About 2 weeks ago I received my new glasses - prior to that I had my "choosing and fitting|" appointment. The FITTING part never happened and I was wondering about that. After wearing my new glasses for about 10 days, I went back in to have the nose pads adjusted - adjusted 3 times then I left for another appointment. Driving around town I realized I was seeing through the reading part so I went back later that day for another 2 adjustments. After the last adjustment, the lady said she couldn't adjust them anymore. She had actually suggested I try wearing them lower on my nose! I was really surprised so I left. The following day I returned and spoke to the lady who I saw to "FIT" my glasses, shared my story and reminded her that she didn't actually take any measurements - she replied to the effect that she doesn't always FIT glasses....WHAT???? I have never bought glasses without the place measuring etc....no wonder my new glasses weren't working. I actually had a very sore spot/red blister on one side of my nose and another red spot on the other side....the bridge just wasn't the right size.....ie measurements would have avoided that problem. They did not offer to fix the issue ie measure and re-do but very quickly offered a few times to refund me. I really liked the glasses but gave up. I do NOT recommend this optical store!! They were a big disappointment! There are many other "consumer friendly" optical places in town....I am wearing my 5 year old glasses and will find those frames at another shop as I have found them online and printed that spec sheet.

Myself and my whole family have been buying our glasses from BO for decades and can't say enough about how we are always pleased with the service they provide. They always ask about other family members and how they are and are all genuinely interested in our lives and the business end is secondary to that. We are from a small town and its nice to be treated like they are as well. They have always gone over and above to service our needs and we all have always felt great about spending our money there. It is one of the the little gems that the busines community has in Moncton and most could take lessons from the way that all the staff conducts themselves. Marty MacFarlane
