A great experience. I bought both my prescription glasses and sunglasses for under $300. The owner was friendly and knowledgable and took the time to make sure the glasses I was getting fit the shape of my face. They took very little time to come in and upon picking them up, she made sure they fit perfectly and that I was happy with them. The quality of both the glasses and sunglasses feel and look amazing. I have received many compliments already. Highly recommend!

I was welcomed warmly in the store each time to try my glasses as I was very indecisive on the style I wanted. With the owners help I finally settled on a very stylish pair that I absolutely adore! Stay away. All the good reviews you see here are from people who know the owner. I ordered my glasses and the sale rep said she will email me to come pick it up. I never received any email so I walked and was in a rush to go to work. Once at work I opened the box and found nothing but dirty old glasses that are not even worth 40$. I returned them and the sales representative refused to reimburse me. This place is a joke stay away and keep your money I left the glasses there even if I was not refunded

Specs Appeal is the only place in the city where I found what I was looking for . Their entire collection are extremely fashionable and at the same time affordable . Their prices are almost the same as online optical shops , the only difference is I got to try on my glasses and I had an optician to help. Meron has an excellent customer service, she really loves what she does and connects well with customers . I highly recommend this place .

Edit. Dropping this review from 5 to 2 stars. The customer service I received was great. Spot on. But the glasses? That’s a different story. Cheap glasses are great on your wallet for sure. But not on your face. Second time I’ve had the lens begin to separate from the frame due to “poor soldering”. And this is after I paid $35 to have the frames replaced. Pretty bad when the frames are so cheap that you can’t even clean your glasses without worrying that they’re going to break. Disappointed in the quality, and I will not be back.

I can’t believe I only discovered this store now! I have been looking for affordable glasses because I don’t have insurance and Specs Appeal was the best discovery! Firstly the glasses were all unique, which is what I wanted, and secondly, the price couldn’t be beat! Every time I come in here it’s like shopping with a friend. The help I get picking and choosing frames is amazing and so customized, they work within your budget, and most importantly your style. They respect your choices but if you’re open to trying something new Meron has an uncanny ability to quickly choose what does and doesn’t work with your face. Get your glasses here ! I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years, I used to go to lens crafters, pearl vision, tried going to superstore, Walmart and attempted to go online. NOTHING beats Specs Appeal !! Four years ago I met Meron (the owner) and I will NEVER go anywhere else. This year I was looking to get new frames because my lenses were scuffed. The first thing she did was check if I was in warranty, I was out by two years and she was disappointed she couldn’t replace them under warranty. I looked at new frames, but she told me she loved the old frames we had chosen years ago and that she could just replace the lenses. She didn’t try to sell me anything new, she replaced my lenses and even upgraded them to be thinner with a blue filter. But with her prices and ability to direct bill I happily insisted on getting a second Pair. I am never disappointed with the style or the prices and most importantly the customer service is ALWAYS AMAZING!
