I visited Dr. Stephen Mazur for a routine eye-exam. I can’t speak highly enough about his level of professionalism and knowledge. Although Dr. Mazur had no way of knowing this, I have published scientific research on visual attention and taught and developed university courses on perception and neuroanatomy. I note this only to establish that my professional background is such that I have considerable knowledge of the eye and how it functions or fails to function. Rather than interrupting him to note that, I allowed Dr. Mazur to fully describe my diagnosis. I was extremely impressed with his use of concrete analogies and demonstrations. The message was clear and simple but thoroughly and accurately described the nature my vision deficits, including the anatomical causes of them and how they could be corrected. He also explained what actions could lead to vision deterioration and described the changes I could expect as I aged. His tone was respectful throughout and it was apparent he puts genuine effort into using his expertise to help his patients make informed decisions.

Spoke with receptionist there today who was rude. And she refused to let me talk to anyone else. I asked for a Manager and she took forever to let me speak to one. The Manager Kristin didn't care either. It's not the same like it use to be since the move. Go somewhere else.

You wont believe your eyes. Literally. I never realized what I was missing at home and at work. If you really care about your vision and you are getting up there in age you will wish you went here sooner. Terrible service, I waited for about 40 mins, I was the first appointment of the morning and the doctor hadn't even arrived yet. When he did, he decided to complain to the reception about his equipment instead of seeing me. He didn't even notice that I had a lasik scar on my eye. Really disappointing.

Sloppy...the woman who did my initial eye tests was fantastic, everything else was a disaster. Cluttered and messy space. Doctor Mazur was rushed and made poor jokes and talked to me like I was a child. Never addressed my concerns. I wont be back.
