Decided to try a new place. Danielle served me and made me feel like I was not only unwelcome but I was interupting her day by being there and asking questions. She was the rudest and laziest person I have met by far this year! FYI - customers make your store successful!! (Or not) !! We are important and demand respect!! Shoddy service can be had at any big box store, you would do well to remember that!

I went to get my eye prescription, the eye exam was thorough and informative but the doctor was too pushy on trying to get me to purchase contacts on the spot. As well, when I asked for my PD (pupillary distance), which is essential for ordering glasses, I was told it was an additional $50 on top of the $100 eye exam. This I felt was a cash grab, or penalty, for anyone not choosing to buy glasses from them when all I was requiring was my FULL eye prescription.

I should have written this review years ago, because Dr Campbell is the best Optometrist I’ve ever had. He is compassionate and spends time explaining things. You don’t feel rushed like some of these clinic I’ve been to. His newer clinic is state of the art and the staff are friendly and the selection of frames are well Curated, Christopher I’m talking to you! I highly recommend FYI and Dr Neil Campbell To anyone who wears glasses! Bob

I took my 3yr old here and they were absolutely AMAZING with her! They took the time to explain everything we needed to know and did not push us to buy her glasses there ... When we decided to buy them there they were extremely helpful! Dr. Campbell was great with her!

Today was that I walked into a clinic to get 24/7 glasses for the first time. I was extremely nervous and apprehensive. I had the good fortune of being helped by Christopher. An hour later, I was excited about my new look, my improved vision and a great sense of relief. It so great when you receive help from someone who is a real professional in their trade.

They required an appointment and do extensive cleansing of surfaces and trial frames, I felt very safe and confident. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and carried a wide range of prices. I am not a fashionable person and consider function and comfort as high priority and go for pretty pedestrian fashions. They seemed to have all that at a reasonable price. As well they offered a range of grind options to match the glasses to how I use them. Since I am far sighted I rarely wear my glasses while outside and they offered a couple of options to cover cases such as sitting at a computer with a couple of screens, sitting at a desk and having to focus on desktop to across the room or in a lecture theatre etc ... special orders were available but took time, normal simple prescriptions take about 2 weeks. Located in the same complex as the Ikea store there was lots of parking and they let my wife come in with me (in case I needed fashion advice)

I was at the door 5 min before close to check if they carried a certain style of frame. Door locked and all the girls sitting chatting inside. I know my 2 prescriptions are of small consequence to you but I will not recommend your services because of lack of customer service focus.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at FYI Doctors. The service is always courteous and helpful. The selection is great and the quality is excellent. Dr Campbell is very friendly, thorough and professional. He has taken time to explain complex issues and has offered multiple approaches to correcting my aging vision. Definitely recommend.

I had never gone to FYidoctors before but it happened to be closer than my previous eye doctor. We don’t currently have eye coverage in our insurance plan so I was planning to order glasses online. When I asked for the pupillary distance I was told they only provide it if I buy glasses from them otherwise it’s an additional $50 charge. Edit: Dr. Campbell followed up with me on the topic of the $50 fee for the pupillary distance and provided some insight into why there is a fee. During the exam, the PD is not actually measured and is only done when fitted with glasses. Because they do not want to be held responsible for any fitment issues for those buying online they add a fee which is intended to discourage people from doing so. I can appreciate their concern and where they are coming from but I still think it is a valid point to know about. Edit 2: This is the place to go if you want to hear about manufactured COVID conspiracies!

Visiting Winnipeg and I had a problem with glasses being bent out of shape. The staff immediately took them, worked at it for quite some time, fixed my frame. They didn’t even charge me. Nice people and great service.

Neil Campbell who ended talking more about himself then my eye exam questions after my appointment I looked at some eye frames,the selection was very generic the salesman Chris I found was full of cheesy sale one liners I would never go back again

We went to FYidoctors for our son's new glasses. Kerri was SO patient and helpful. She balanced allowing him to explore and try ones that caught his eye as well as making suggestions for frames (all within a COVID cautious environment). She encouraged him to try many and make sure he was 100% satisfied before making a decision. The pricing for the frames and lenses along with sunglass frames and lenses was very competitive. The ordering process was smooth and delivery was timely. Pick up went smoothly as well and he left feeling like a million bucks. Thanks for making a sometimes stressful event so positive!

wonderful I used to deal with Christopher and Dr Campbell at their old business. Seems like most of that crew moved over here, so I followed, afeter a misfortunate issue. Christopher had glasses ready for me to look at when I came out from my eye examination. I felt welcomed and totally enjoyed the experience of getting some new glasses. Going back today to pick up another pair.

Time wasted in this place. I booked my appointment 3 weeks in advance using the online tool. Provided all my contact information, email and phone. On the consultation day, the front desk attendant just said the doctor wasn't in, and they tried to contact me. I arranged with my work and school to bring my kid to see the doctor on that date, and they didn't move a finger to consult my contact info and call me. Definitely, I will recommend staying away from this place.

I always come in to deal with him, but there have been a few times I had to deal with other staff there and even with no history they treat me so well!

FYIdoctors have a great clinic. All of their equipment is top of the line and they have been taken care of me and my family for years. I recently had an accident where I got bleach in my eye and they were able to see me on short notice to check everything out. Thank you! Highly recommended!
