I visited EYES on Bridgewater for the first time for an eye exam and for something I was concerned about, and it was an amazing experience. The assistant and the doctor both were very helpful. 100% recommend this location for an amazing experience.

My first encounter with Eyes on Bridgwater was with Dr. Van Dyck about 2 years ago since moving to Winnipeg. The office is very clean, the reception is friendly, I never have to wait to be seen and they have direct billing which is great! I appreciate the fact that Dr. Van Dyck takes her time, I never feel rushed and she ensures to explain things in a through manner and develops a plan of care inclusive of your thoughts and opinions. After all as the patient, no plan is complete without your compliance to achieve the desired outcome. She treats you with the utmost respect and I highly recommend her.

Dr Van Dyck was very good with my 9 yr old daughter. She was thorough, patient and explained everything in detail. Very nice staff. A good selection of eyeglasses for a smaller boutique. I highly recommend this place!

Had my first visit at eyes on Bridgwater this past week. Store is lovely and staff is very friendly. My complaint is with their business practice. I have a very high prescription and after seeing the optometrist I ordered new glasses and the prescription in my left eye seems way way off. I called to ask them to do a curtesy recheck and they want to charge for that service. I have never been to an optometrist that would charge to re-check your eyes when you aren’t happy with your prescription and I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years. My mother is a refracting optician in BC and my father in law is a retired eye surgeon and have agreed that charging for a recheck is absolutely unacceptable. This is not good business practice and should be changed. They have unfortunately lost my families business over this as I will be seeing another optometrist which came highly recommended this week to check my eyes as I refuse to pay them to re-check when I do not trust the first prescription. Eyes on Bridgewater, as a new and growing company I urge you to revisit this practice.

Went here on opening day. Receptionist was really friendly and doctor was thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. Direct billing is a bonus.
