Amazing doctor. I took my mom there for full eye exam and possible cataract surgery. In my mom's scenario, she did not have medical coverage since she was in Canada with visitor visa. Dr. Dornn was very kind and called different specialists for the cost of the surgery while we were waiting. He also explained thoroughly what was going on with one of her eye. I was impressed! I will recommend anybody going to him.

By far the best place in Winnipeg to go if you have a dry eye condition. They have great equipement to diagnose & Dr. Dornn is exceptional & really works with patients to help them understand the condition. I saw him back in the day & while he does do gland expressions, he does not do IPL which I've flown out to calgary for and have had pretty good success with. It would be nice if Dr. Dornn would bring that to Winnipeg...

I had the most expenses lenses available made. They were defective with a deposit on the lens that was merely cleaned off. The lenses themselves show gross chromatic distortion, that is light wavelengths do not focus on the same plane. There was no attempt to accept responsibility. Stay well away from this business.

I had a good visit with Dr. Dornn. He explained to me very well why I needed to wear prescriptions 70% of the day. He was so good in providing more than enough information about my condition, and made sure that I have understood it in a Layman’s term.

I agree Dr dornn is thorough and professional. All the same not sure if I'm going back. Too much process. Too many steps, too many check ins, and too many charges. I waited 30 mins in the lobby to pick up contacts. That should have taken 2 minutes. He is great but it feels like too much time and production for my preferences.

This place is honestly THE BEST eye care place I’ve EVER been to! The staff are super friendly! They have a great selection of glasses, and they make me feel super comfortable/confident in my purchase! And one of the best parts is that I never have to wait long to make an appointment and get in to see either Doctor Dorann, or see his amazing staff for adjustments. Love coming here when I need help with my glasses
