STAFF make all the difference! What potentially was a "1 Star" experience truly has been a "5 Star" experience. Dr. Jeff Nielson was great with my eye exam and was able to recomend some out of the ordinary glasses to improve my daily living. Cole was creative and able to help build the frame and lens combination needed. I am so grateful. His care and integrity from the moment I entered the store to the moment he was adjusting the fit of my new glasses is why I would recomend VISUAL EFFECTS - FYidoctors to my friends and family. There were challenges along the way to me recieving my glasses and Cole advocated my needs to the lab building the glasses and kept me informed of the progress. Often I give "5 Stars" to the smooth and easy experiences; today I give "5 Stars" to the DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE that was made GREAT by an EXCELLENT STAFF MEMBER. Thank you.

UPDATE: Went back to see Cassandra about our daughter's glasses as her prescription has changed. Cassandra has a high level of knowledge about the Nano line of eyeglasses for children and she was able to help us determine the best path forward for our five year old girl. We thought the size of her frames needed to be increased but after discussing it with Cassandra, we realized that we had misunderstood the information we had found on the Nano website. Cassandra was able to help us know what we needed to do to maximize the value of what we would be getting for our daughter. The time was well spent and used efficiently. We expected to be there for an hour but left in less than half of that. Cassandra was already doing research for us before we even got there. This quality of service is the reason I changed the rating on my review. If anyone needs eyeglasses for their children, I highly recommend the Nanovista line and I highly recommend you to see Cassandra at Visual Effects to help you. Prior to today, our experience had been quite positive. On this day, however, my wife was in a bind and I was still at work so I could not help her. Our 4 year old's lenses had popped out of her frames at the end of the day and as we had bought them through Visual Effects, my wife called them first. As it is the weekend and we are going out of town, we needed the lenses put back in. Visual Effects is not open on Saturdays during August, according to their automated recording, and so we wanted to get helped today (Friday). My wife was more than simply dismayed when she was told that no one would wait for her to get there (she called shortly before closing and explained the situation). Of course, people have private lives and they are entitled to them but we were in a bind and we really would have appreciated someone staying just 15 minutes longer to help us out before we go away for the weekend. This was an easy one for customer service and whoever this person was that was talking to my wife just fumbled big time. Customer service is a big deal and we will think twice about using Visual Effects in the future.

I have been going to Visual Effects for YEARS. Never had a bad experience there. The staff are knowledgeable, they will help you pick out the best frames for your face and prescription. If something is wrong with my glasses, they will make sure it is right. Recently I had problems with the anti glare on my glasses. My warranty was expired but Cole went to bat for me and the company the produces the anti glare is going to replace my lenses for me. I shop here because I know the staff ALWAYS have my back. I won't go anywhere else.

My wife tried to make an appointment and it took 4 return calls to confirm coverage by my insurance. She took time from other commitments to meet their appointment where she was told there was only a note, not confirmation of insurance coverage. She was shocked to be offered to split the price which was unprofessional. Neither the acting receptionist or the doctor was interested in insurance coverage. I cannot recommend Raymonds Visual Effects office and understand why it is empty when I drive by. I give them one star because this is the least I can.

I live in Ontario and traveled to Leithbridge for my father's 90 birthday. I had only four days here, I had a contact lens malfunction and called Visual Effects in desperation. Honestly I can't say anything negative about Visual Effects. I have dealt with them for many years. Pretty much since I started wearing glasses. Dr Jeff Nielson is friendly and very professional. After purchasing a pair of glasses there a person can go back at any time for concerns and adjustments for no extra charge. I recently had a problem with a pair of glasses and they took care of it promptly and efficiently. Also no charge. They do stand behind their products and their work. Thank you Cole for your exceptional service and for caring.

The staff at Visual Effects are so great. From the exam to picking out glasses they helped my son find glasses he liked, and there were so many staff helping us and got him so excited about getting to wear glasses. Would definitely recommend going here to anyone as the frame selection is great and the staff are awesome!
