We have had the good fortune of using Vision Care on many occasions over past two years. Clint was the eye care specialist who served us on most occasions. On two occasions it was for broken glasses when I didn't have a spare pair. He basically made me a new pair of glasses using out lenses custom fit to new frames - all while I waited!! Thank you very much because I was really stuck and unable to go to work without glasses. The third time was yesterday when I convinced my wife to bring Clint her new subscription (she is a long time Lens Crafters customer). He made her a set of driving glasses while she waited for $130. For the same glasses Len Crafters wanted $330. Then arrangements were made for a pair of computer glasses and reading glasses. All at considerable savings over what we were just quoted an hour before at Lens Crafters!!!!!!! Thank you very much for help making our experience so positive. Your attention to customer service is something we don't see often anymore. And your extremely good pricing may be one of Langley's best kept secrets!! Terrible experience - I don’t like the dye being put in my eye so I asked him not to and he refused and was rude about it and put it in anyway. It’s my health and I’m paying for it so I felt extremely uncomfortable with that.

I tried out Vision Care Centre after disappointing experiences at other local eye care centres. Vision Care had the best Google ratings and I gave them a try. I was not disappointed! They got me in promptly and were friendly and efficient. Dr. Johal was thorough and explained my eye health better than any former eye doctor. In addition, the contact lense prices matched ordering online and they filled my new frame px while I waited. The best part: the woman who chose my case for me said there was solid black or gold leopard print and chose the latter for me because she thought I'd prefer it (she was right). I've since sent my parents there along with other friends. I went earlier this year and it took me this long to write a review [finally] but the service was so good I still wanted to post one!

This place is absolutely golden! I am new to wearing glasses and Amanda spent hours of one-on-one customer service time with me in order to find the best fit and color of frames. She literally wouldn't let me walk out with something that didn't look good! I highly recommend this store.

My experience was awesome. Dr. Johal & staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, accommodating, efficient & hospitable ... I felt like I was being served at home. My diagnosis from a previous Optometrist was slightly off ... they saved me from going back to the other Optometrist by reevaluating me gratis ... they would not even accept a tip. Some of the best service I have ever had. And I got everything I needed at a great price. I STRONGLY PROMOTE THEM AS AMONG THE BEST !!! If you know someone needing an Optomotrist, eye-exam, eye-ware, eye-care or anything related ... these people will provide you with awesome service or point you in the right direction. My experience was very comfortable, they didn’t rush me or push me to get my glasses there after my initial visit and receiving my prescription. Jasmeen was very helpful in explaining the different types and costs of the lens, and coatings. Amanda was also very helpful once I was ready to purchase frames, and afterward really came through for me and changed the arm tips on the frames we had picked as they were hurting my ears. Great crew!

The best optician I've had. Both my glasses and contacts were switched to a lighter prescription that accounts for my astigmatism. As a result, my vision is far more crisp and my eyes are less tired at the end of the day. On top of his knowledge and expertise, the optician was friendly and had good people skills — a quality that is not usually apparent in opticians. All in all, a fantastic experience.

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother because she does not know how to post reviews. I went with her to her appointment as she needed a ride and I was not impressed. The doctor was nice but the exam was very quick. I've bee with her to many eye appointments before and this one was By far the least thorough. The equipment is old and outdated and when I called to ask a couple questions about my mothers appointment, the lady I spoke to wasn't very nice and seemed annoyed at my questions. I will not be taking my mother here again. *** This is MY married name and yes you do have record of her. I am not interested in coming back and neither is she. If you strive for a 5 star rating maybe you should tell your staff not to be so rude when I just had questions about my mother. ***

It doesn't deny basic services based on race and Indigenous Health Authority Insurance coverage.

i work on saturdays and one saturday morning i found my frame of my glasses broken. i cannot work without my glasses so i went to Vision Care in Langley, located on Douglas Crescent. a young person named Clint helped me. i explained that i was in need of a frame that would fit the lenses of my broken frame and transplant them into a new frame. he looked at my lenses and offered two choices of frames that would take the lenses and i choose one of them and he went to work and very quickly and efficiently fitted the old lenses into the new frames and i was on my way, made it to work. the new frames are very comfortable and light. my family and i have bought glasses over the years at this location and i highly recommend all to give them a try. The girls in the front are very nice, Alisa was the girl who took care of me, I am a very picky person for glasses because I don't like them but this girl was so patient, she knows very well what works for you , she helped me until I found the glasses I like, I picked up my glasses yesterday, they are very good, since the very first moment I tried them I filled really comfortable. I had the worst experience with Dr Johal and will never go back. Pushed progressives on me, which created bigger problems. He even went so far as to tell me the ophthalmologist he himself referred me to was wrong and that the ophthalmologist’s equipment was unreliable. Told me I had the start of glaucoma one visit, then said he told me I had the beginnings of cataracts on the next visit. Front staff was great but I wouldn’t ever recommend him to anyone after all that.

When i moved to Langley 6 years ago, i needed to find a new Optometrist. Vision Care Centre was only minutes away from my home and the service is excellent. They were even able to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday morning when i got an eye infection. The Optometrist is very knowledgeable as well as the staff. Very friendly and helpful! After going into Vision Care Centre, I can easily say that I had the best experience, compared to any of the past optometrists I have visited. The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked in, and I immediately knew that I was in good hands. I had initially walked in with some concerns about my eye health, but Dr. Johal was super informative and thorough, as he provided many solutions and was willing to follow up with me. After being given the wrong prescription from an optometrist and having headaches for a year, my dad had suggested that I book an appointment with his optometrist, Damanjit. Damanjit from Vision Care Centre took time and care during the eye exam, explained everything clearly as he did so. Having the right prescription got rid of my headaches, thankfully. I've come here for more than a decade through three different management cycles. Phenomenal customer service - they care about their customers as people and take the time with each one to ensure they are happy with their purchase before leaving and after the initial purchase as well. As a diabetic I now go in for checkups twice a year and it is thorough, professional and yet personable. Dr. Johal will tell you what you need to know, not just the words that you want to hear. Amanda and Clint have been there for a long time. Both are warm, welcoming, knowledgable and very, competent. I've worn corrective lenses for more than 40 years. going from distance only to progressive lenses as the years went by. Quite frankly I wouldn't go anywhere else for my glasses. They have worked with me when I broke my frames, finding replacement arms instead of trying to upsell to new frames.In the event the "drop" from distrance to intermediate to reading was not correct, they have redone the lenses in order to make it right. They truly do epitimize customer service and affordability of the best products in all price ranges.

Not only was Dr. Johal extremely professional and efficient in his testing, but was very helpful and took the time to explain all concerns and issues. Sales associate Alysha helped me with picking glasses, and I will admit I was very picky but she never once made me feel rushed or disregarded me for my annoyingly picky tendencies. My family and I moved to Langley 3 years ago from Maple Ridge. All 4 of us require vision care. We had used a company in our old city for 10 years that was fabulous and that we truly loved however the move required us to try another company. It's always hard moving to a new city and establishing new relationships and figuring out which businesses are stellar and which are not. We decided to try Vision Care Centre Langley as it was pretty close to our new home. We are not sorry we did! We have received amazing service on each and every visit; Amanda is outstanding and is always very friendly, remembers our names and definitely goes above and beyond for us each time. If there are glasses that they don't stock there Amanda strives to find them for us if they are able to get them. She is definitely a staff member that they should be proud to have, I know I would be. Another thing I love is that she treats my kids like individuals, likewise with Dr. Johal. If you ever need vision care, I definitely recommend Vision Care Centre Langley.

I have never had a better experience or better service than I've had at Vision Care Centre. I've been going for years and the staff actually has started to feel like family. Dr. Johal is incredibly genuine, considerate and excellent at his job. He's watched my sons grow from adolescence to adulthood and has encouraged them along the entire way. They're still excited to go for appointments mostly to visit with him. Alysha and Laura constantly go out of their way to accommodate. They really do provide incredible customer service. There's a reason that Vision Care is consistently voted the best in Langley. They honestly are. I would, and do recommend them to anyone looking for a great optometrist.

i received the worst customer service from this location. I called about rescheduling my appointment for my daughter and the receptionist on the phone was a fee to cancel. But i wasn cancelling i was simply changing to a different time. I then mentioned i would call back to confirm if i needed to change it. I then went all the way to this centre and the receptionist ended up removing my appointment completely. Unacceptable. I was upset that not only she did that but she didnt even reschedule me, she just completely took me off. it took me like 45 mins to drive out there and the doctor even left for the day. Such an inconvenience and the worst customer service experience by far.
