It’s full service, the complete eye exam by a qualified optician, to the delivery of completed eyewear. The staff are always pleasant and professional, and a big shoutout to the Optician Dr. Yang for making me feel comfortable, and getting my prescription perfectly correct !

Got a free pair of single vision glasses for computer and the doctor took his time to make sure i could use them for my laptop and also that i would be able to read documents on my desk. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend.

Initial customer of Image Optometry Guildford, I've been getting my glasses and contact lenses since 2004. Been a customer of the Langley location since 2012. For a better part of my dealings at the Langley location I used to deal with a nice lady named Alice. Was super nice whenever I made a fill in order of contact lenses. And she would even give me a free pair of lenses if they had it in stock while I waiting for the order to arrive. Some reviewers have mentioned staff being cold or not knowledgeable about certain aspects of their policies etc. But with my dealings with staff, I've only probably experienced one or two staff that may have come across cold. But overall staff have been friendly and if they didn't know anything, there was someone on staff that did. As for the doctors, I've been fortunate to have dealt with knowledgeable and friendly people over the years. Never had any issues with any of them. Any questions I had, they took the time to explain to me about my prescription and my concerns of fit/feel of my previously worn glasses and contact lenses.

Ashley is the best person we could have had to help us out! For her my rating is 5 stars. Ashley took the time out to assist my boyfriend in getting his first ever pair of contact lenses. The training process took a very long time because he has difficulties getting lenses in and out due to his long eyelashes. Her paitence with him was unbelievable (I dont even think I could have been as paitent as she was!) And she even stayed a late to order his glasses that same day, while all the others couldnt wait to get home when the store closed. The only reason im not giving Image Optometry a 5 star rating today is because this lady named Laura at the front desk gave my boyfriend a bit of a hard time. She made him feel uncomfortable and was not focused on finding a solution to his concerns, instead she came off slightly challenging and unhelpful. This doesn't make her a bad person though because hey, everyone has bad days.

Not only was she patient but she made my daughter feel so important. She let her try on many pairs until we came up with the final choice. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I had bought Ray Ban frame from them and my entire Glasses including lenses we're sold to me by this place. However to my disappointment the Frame wasn't Ray Ban Quality, it had defect from the get-go when I raised this concern with Shannon the manager she tried to brush it and said its regular wear and tear and I had only had the frame for 3-4 months approx. nevertheless they ordered a new Frame for me and said that they'll just switch my lenses over. I went to their location In willowbrook mall to do it twice both times the employees working told me that they're not capable of doing the switch over! if Shannon the manager knew that her employees cant perform a specific task why even relay it to a customer. In this Pandemic hit world when people are staying inside as much as possible I was returned twice from this location disheartened. Shannon wasn't very friendly to begin with and all along seemed to brush things away. If you want to waste your time and go their for a not so customer friendly environment then I would definitely recommend this location to all

I happily call this place my "go-to" for getting eye exams and glasses. I have a very strong prescription (-9) and came here today to get my eyes tested. Dr J.P. Johnson is a phenomenal eye doctor. He was very thorough in discussing my options and answered all my questions. It was obvious he really had his best interest at heart for me. After the exam, the friendly staff Member Alicia helped me pick out a frame that worked best for my situation and thoroughly answered my questions regarding lens coat options. I look forward to coming back here for further business in the future! :)

The man who tested my eyes and wrote my prescription gets 5 stars from me. He worked quickly and thoroughly while giving clear instructions on what he wanted me to do. I was also having my eyes tested for effects from diabetes on referral from my endocrinologist. However, the sales ladies for frames and lens get a one star from me. I told the first lady that I loved my 5 year old frames and asked if they could be used again (I had recently mishaped them by sitting on them). She glanced at the frames and told me they had to be replaced. I asked her for her opinion on why they had to be replaced. She glanced again and said "the screws are loose!" We started to look at frames and after trying on one pair I said I would have to bring my wife to select frames because I could not clearly see myself in a mirror. When I attempted to get an idea of what it would cost me to get 2 pairs of progressive lens with coatings (one with transition lens) she rattled off some numbers which I attempted to write down as I asked clarifying questions but it became clear that since she knew I was not going to buy on this trip, she wanted to end our conversation quickly. I did manage to find a good optician in Walnut Grove who straightened out my old frames, tightened the screws and replaced my nose for free - even before he knew I was a buyer. He got my $997 in business (2 sets of lens with coatings, one transition coating and one new pair of Titanium Oakley frames.)

On the whole this was an agreeable experience. My only issue occurred when I went to pick up the glasses and noticed that the fit of the arms was a little loose. At that point I was told that no adjustments could be made at the back and only the nosepiece could be adjusted. My previous pair of glasses were of the same brand but not the same model and it took three fittings to get things right but after that they were the best fitting glasses I have ever owned and that is why I returned to this brand this time. It is not a great experience to be told that a multi hundred dollar purchase cannot be adjusted in any way that would make them fit properly. I have not returned to the store for an adjustment but I will be soon to seek a second opinion on this matter.

Diya who assisted me with eyeglasses purchase was really patient and was with me all the way as I finally made my choices for 2 frames that would fit me perfectly. She explained the promotions well which is very important for us customers. Frames are fairly priced as compaired to other stores. I was expecting my glasses in 2 weeks but came ahead of time. Just awesome! I had a great busineas transaction with this store that I accompanied my son to have his prescription glasses here too a few days after.

My experience at Image Optometry Willowbrook was nothing less than wonderful. Dr. Yang was top notch! When my glasses arrived, I noticed that my prescription seemed slightly off. Dr. Yang immediately offered to recheck my eyes for me to make sure everything was right, and made any necessary adjustments. The sales staff was wonderful as well. Very attentive, and didn’t complain at all even though I probably tried on every frame in my size lol. This was my first time going to Image Willowbrook, and I will definitely be going back next time I need glasses or contacts. Thank you Image Optometry Willowbrook for a wonderful experience.

Dr. Yang was professional, but his diagnosis and referral to a specialist was completely NOT needed! Said my daughter needed glasses and refereed us to a specialist. 5 months of waiting for an appointment i took my daughter in and this optometrist said she has nearly perfect vision and doesn't need glasses. Wont EVER go back there, as the manager of the store isn't a very customer service friendly individual who lacks knowledge and empathy towards customers. Shes just there to collect a pay cheque! No pride in her job.

We brought our 2 young kids for exams as well and they were very patient through the whole process. The free Canucks tickets for booking our exam in December which was also a nice perk!

I have worn glasses my entire life and shopping for glasses is a process. I have purchased from Image in the past and mainly due to selection, the big thing about shopping for glasses is finding the right pair. It has to fit right must be comfortable and look great. This means trying on several on average I probably put on well over 50 pairs of glasses before I purchase a pair. Well now at Image you have to ask for every single pair of glasses before you try them on, yeah no! That's like needing to ask for a melon at the grocery stors before being able to check to see if it's ripe! Whoever made the decision to lock up their glasses throughout the day has to go back to school! I went across the mall and my family spent $800 on glasses at the competitor! If theft is that much of an issue then put the money into staff and don't have your staff camping out in the back! Heck I would much rather have a rent a cop at the door than having to ask for every single pair of glasses I want to try on! It very bad business and for the hour and a half I spent across the mall from them I can tell it's not working hardly anyone went into Image optometry! Fix it or go out of business!

Let me tell you if I could give this place 10 stars I would. This lovely worker Riya helped me out a ton and went above and beyond. My day started out by breaking my frame of my glasses. So I went to the store and she actively was checking other stores to see if the specific frame was in stock. She sent me to Park Royal location where I got the frame but nobody there knew how to put my lenses in. So in a mad dash from West Van she kept the store open for me and placed my lenses in before my vacation. She was super friendly along with the rest of the staff who have helped me over the years and will continue shopping there.

My wife saw the sign outside the store that said "Free glasses with eye exam for 89.95" she ask the lady if that was true and which glasses were included in that and was shown frames that were part of that" At not time was she told that the glasses were going to cost over 200 until after she paid for the exam and it was at that time she was told 'oh your glasses are not part of that deal. Like FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!! if you say FREE GLASSES WITH EYE EXAM" THEN THEY ARE FREE NOT 200.00 MORE! THAT IS A FALSE STATMENT!! I HAVE CONTACTED BBB AND WILL CONTACT THE NEWSPAPER !

Dr. Yang and his team have always looked after me well from testing my eyes to helping me with an eye inflammation issue to choosing and ordering new glasses. They have strict COVID 19 protocols in place so don't be afraid to visit them for your eye care now or in the future.

Went there for my third pair of glasses. I had always gotten the same frames just different colours over the years. I cant thank the lady who helped me enough. She took her time helping me pick a completely different pair of glasses. Pulling out styles from the bottom and really making sure I was comfortable with the choice I had made. I truly love my new glasses, the service and being able to see clearly. They direct billed my coverage and I only paid my deductible

I went to this establishment to acquire glasses for back and forth reading from paperwork to PC screen. I had my eye exam and explained what I required. At work with my glasses on I immediately noticed they did not help. I called and was informed that I had paid over $300.00 for reading glasses. I replied I had over a half dozen pairs of reading glasses laying around from the dollar store 2.00 - 5.00 each. I then was informed I would have to come back in for another eye exam. Upon my return I was sitting with 2 other customers for returned goods and was then asked to pay for another eye exam. After refusing to pay more I then was informed they would not honor any returns. Pick a more reputable establishment.

I've used Image Optometry's services once before and was pleased with how friendly, professional and knowledgable their staff was. Initially it was the eye exam deal that pulled me in and a recommendation from a friend who goes to them regularly. This last visit a week ago was fantastic. Dr. John was hilarious, friendly and took the time to educate me and explain to me any concerns or things I should monitor. Not only that, they told me my glasses and trial contacts would take 2 weeks to get here however my contacts were in 3 days after my appointment and I was notified today my glasses are ready for pick up as well. Took less than a week for both! Thank you Image Optometry :)

I called to ask a question about my prescription. The girl who i spoke to was rude right from the start. Her annoyed answer of “Ummmm that’s because you have astigmatism” wasn’t appreciated considering I was never told about this during my eye exam with the doctor. When I asked what my PD was as it was not listed she said it wasn’t done. Then told me it’s something they do when they measure you for glasses. This is exactly what I was there for and what my prescription was for. I won’t be back again- there are plenty of other options right in the same mall.

I went in to Image Optometry to get a new pair of glasses. I already had my prescription, so I just needed to choose frames. I decided on the bargain frames ($69.00) and chose a pair. One of the sales staff took the time to check on the various special and then explained that I could get two pairs of glasses with better frames that had a one year warranty for almost the same price, only $50 more than one pair of glasses with the economy frame. I really appreciate the extra time and effort that this person went to in order to get me the best deal.
