My partner and I went in for an appointment today searching for new glasses. Sam was an absolute dream! She helped us both pick styles that worked for our faces and it was a pleasure to chat with her the whole time. Despite our complicated insurance situation, she was patient and courteous and helped us coordinate everything without any judgement. Couldn't recommend her enough. I'll definitely be coming back for sunglasses in the spring but I would honestly come back to this location just to chat.

Went in to choose new glasses a few weeks ago and Sam was extremely helpful and friendly, even when I kept changing my mind and she had to disinfect the ridiculous amount of glasses I tried on! The glasses I ordered came quickly and Sam and the optometrist for both great to get them sized to fit me properly. I definitely recommend this location.

The way store is organized is really close to pure perfection and even the staff is helpful. They have great optician working there and they know how to deal with customers and what services and products to give. I am fully satisfied with their customer service.

Went in today ( its been a few months ago now) to shop for new frames at Kitchener Highland location beside my dentists in that plaza I forgot about Covid regulations and touching things and picked up 1 pair off the display Got snapped at by an older grey haired employee? A reminder from him an apology from me then I asked if I could browse? He curtly asked if I had my prescription with me and told me I could only browse if I did -I said I wanted new frames “ I won’t be touching or browsing” I answered and left the store I will never go there again

Both my daughter & I went to Hakim Optical for the first time . We were helped by Sam who was incredibly knowledgable in helping both of us pick out a couple pairs of glasses each . With so many to choose from, Sam Encouraged Us to try as many on as we needed . Sam certainly made a difficult decision much easier . I went here to get my glasses fixed, one of the legs had snapped off the spring joint. They didn't have the leg for my particular set of glasses, so they put in a similar one and charged me nothing! The service and attention to detail was something I could really appreciate while I was there, went to 2 other optical stores and they wanted me to buy new frames at their stores- they refused to help! This Hakim store has earned a new loyal customer because of how they treated me and I would recommend it to everyone.

Selection of frames is huge and staff very helpful in choosing the appropriate pair. I have had many pairs of glasses but have never had better attention paid to fitting and correct focal points of lens. Ken REALLY wants you to have the best possible experience with new glasses and he succeeded. First time in long time I have not taken my glasses OFF to be able to see!! Thank you!!!

The service I got from this store was exceptional, the manager was phenomenal - so positive helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable and all the staff ere great. I made an appointment by phone but was arriving at Calgary airport so wasn't sure when I would arrive and yet I got my distance lenses put into my own frames within 30 minutes. Really great!

Recently I went into hakim optical on Highland, to purchase glasses. I was very apprehensive buying new glasses, as if had been a very long time since I last bought glasses. So very happy with the immediate service I received from Sam and the team here at Hakim Optical highland location. I broke my glasses two weeks ago and my regular optometrist could not see me for 4 months nor give me a solution to my problem. Called the store and Sam got me in that day, updated my prescription and helped me try on (14!) pairs of glasses. Needless to say, I am switching my optometrist for good. Not only was the pricing incredibly reasonable but the service was fast and everyone here was very pleasant to deal with. Thank you so much again!

I'm so discussed !! I went for my eye exam and I noticed ( of course ) the lenses were you look through were dirty. Then after my face was in the machines it left make up on them and nothing was sanitized after I was done . Then my sick children went in and I stayed in the room the whole time and again nothing was cleaned or sanitized ! Absolutely gross!! I will never Go here again ! Hakim optical part was great but I deffinetly do not recommend seeing the optometrist there :( ????????????????????????
