A couple of days ago, I came to the store and asked if they could fix my prescription sunglasses, that were bent and in a mess. Giving me a warning that he could try, be it could break them, your employee worked on them and made them good as new. I have never bought glasses at Hakim and must say that your service was wonderful. By the way, no charge!!!

Dropped $982 on ONE pair of glasses and they won't do ANYTHING about the scratches! Not only will they not do anything to fix it, they will also talk down to you and accuse you of not purchasing the glasses there. I will NEVER go back to Hakim Optical ever again. Two very enthusiastic thumbs down.

My Wife and I dropped in with a set of glasses purchased online. They were just in need of some adjustment to the arms to make sure the fit was correct. We walked in and I spoke to the optician and told them up front I did not buy the glasses from them and that I was willing to pay for adjustment service to be fair to them. The Optician would have no part of it. Instead, she sat us both down, completed the adjustment and wished us well. WOW...mindblown! A store that could have taken my money but refused and then offered me incredible service! We were amazed. It is this type of customer centric service that wins business. Considering the other options in Kitchener, do your research and you will quickly find that this location is head and shoulders better than the rest. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the team at Hakim Fairway for looking after a product they made no money off of. Keep up the great work...next time we are in the market for glasses, you can be sure we will be stopping by!

Terrible customer service I called earlier to ask if I could get an eye exam done she said I could. I waited outside for 20 minutes, she didn’t say anything to me she just starred at me and acted like she was busy, I called and she said there was no doctor so I couldn’t get it done. She made me wait outside didn’t say anything to me I had to call her (she could have simply asked me what I needed, instead of ignoring me). Will never go back!

Wonderful place! The ladies who helped me pick new frames were super kind and helpful! I needed new frames after my current ones were hanging on for dear life after I sat on them multiple times, then dropped them. During the pandemic is a hard time to shop, but everyone here was so sweet and did an excellent job helping me find what I want! I'm so excited to recieve my new glasses. Wonderful, wish I could give 6 stars.

I went in with a broken set of Prescription RayBan's that I needed to drive, they informed me that they weren't a RayBan dealer and that some of the screws may be proprietary, .let's try anyways, they fixed them polished them and didn't even charge me, awesome customer service, awesome people that really care, i will be going back there, you should give them a try

I bought prescription contact lenses and glasses at this location, service I received was excellent. Sue was extremely pleasant and amazing. Upon inspection of my eyes, she noticed a small concern and ensure everything was cleared before I was able to buy my prescription contact lenses. She has also scheduled some follow up visit to prevent this from reoccurring. This was one of the best optical customer service I have received ever since I have been using prescription contact Lenses (17 yrs now). Sue and the rest of the team at Hakim Optical at Kitchener Fairway road. You guys are doing an amazing job. Thanks for everything.

I came in for a tiny little screw for the remote key from Amanda. Something totally different what the guys would normally expected. The guy i was talking to, he took the key found a screw and fixed it. I was very happy. I didnt thought i would find a screw this size so i went to some different sunglasses shops. Finally the guys from hakim optical solved the problem. Thanks a lot from me and Amanda.

Excellent service,... Got my eyes tested at another place and I should have known better.. Hakim at 600 fairway kitKitche is the best choice you can make for your exams and glasses. I needed one lens fixed and it took no time at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Have been using Hakim since I was a young lad, and will continue to.

Much like other customers, I went to Hakim Optical in Kitchener with broken glasses, this morning. The service by the optician was superb, much better than I expected from a franchise. Easy to reach location and great friendly service. They knew what they were doing and they did it fast. I came out with a pair of repaired glasses looking like new and it didnt cripple my bank account (the repair was accualy free). I would definitely go there again.

Never had a problem in the 5 or 6 times I've gotten glasses here. Anytime I had an issue with a frame or lenses (once the polarization on my sunglasses seemed really off to me) it was handled appropriately. Lovely staff and a great selection... Maybe even too much selection for frames - hard to pick just one sometimes!

I always feel welcome when I stop in for adjustments or cleaning. Last week I broke an arm on my prescription sunglasses and I dropped them off for repair. When I returned 2 days later to pick them up I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they had replaced both arms adjusted the shoulders and put I new rests. Thet look like new. And all of this for no charge even though they were off warranty. I'll keep coming back and especially when I replace my glasses later this spring. Thank you.

I took them to Hakim and even though I did not purchase them at this business, the Optician fixed them at no cost! I have been there to look for frames as another customer said on this thread attitude need to be kept at home, I was trying to open the door, one staff saw me she didn’t even shown there is a sticker on the door she was staring at me and was acting like busy. I have called the number after finding it on the door and the staff who picked up the phone said they will only allow customers with an appointment. They are full for the day and I can see there are barely 2 people inside. They acts like they are the only ones in town who sells glasses. Never going back for anything again to these guys. Very bad experience. There is another nice place in the Kitchener Fairway mall called Lens crafters, nice selection and better customer service experience.

I received an eye exam here in July of 2017 by the female optometrist. I was rushed and continually showed the same line. I was looking to purchase glasses and didn't want to use that prescription because I know it wouldn't reflect accuracy due to this. I reached out in order for this to be fixed, but EXTREMELY rudely was told "um this is how eye exams are done so what are you talking about?". This was also after a few rude, passive aggressive comments were already made to me. I've had a few eye exams done and surely none of them ever asked me to read out the same line of letters repeatedly in different fonts. I wasn't asked "is it clear?", "is this better?". I was asked to simply read the SAME LINE back to her. Obviously I knew what the letters were at that point. I didn't ask for a refund, or anything other than an accurate eye exam. I also purchased contacts which I never picked up because of this that were around $90 and was given a credit from them that was never used. So that has gone in their pocket aswell. AND would've purchased a pair of glasses from them had this been fixed! If looking to get an eye exam please go elsewhere! Lens crafters offers much friendlier service, better glasses selection and a prescription actually suited to you!

Bad doctor. This middle aged Chinese optometrist didn't seem to care. She rushed through the exam. Didn't even use the machine which every other places does. She didn't care about the patients. Poor English, it was hard for me to understand. She becomes impatient and rude when I was confused. Staff in the glasses shop was helpful and friendly. Do not go there for an eye exam!!!!

Terrible experience. First they misspelled my name on my receipt, so I had to go back. I spelled it out for them on the phone when I made the appointment, and they repeated it back. I then had to wait 15 minutes for the optometrist to finish with another patient, which was ridiculous. She even asked me if I was sure that she spelled it incorrectly. That was yesterday. Today I went to submit my claim for insurance, and according to Hakim Optical - $85 for eye appoint and $0 for "Other" equals $80. The only annoyance during the appointment was when I confirmed that I spend my entire shift in front of a computer, that I should "Spend 3-4 hours away" from my computer on my shift. I'm sure my employer would absolutely love that. I will not be returning. Edit : The store manager did contact me and attempted to fix my issue, but it was too late (my fault for not returning their call on time, not theirs). I appreciate the fact that he did try to handle it.
