My husband and I recently required new glasses. i have been reluctant to wear the current glasses that I have. I just didn't feel the difference between how I saw with them or without them was negligible. I don't have a strong prescription. Well, I tell you. I was wrong. The quality of the lenses really matter. The bifocal transition in the lens is seamless. I will happily wear my glasses now and stop squinting. Thank you for your patient advice and excellent service.

Love at first 'sight'! There was a vast selection of frames to choose from, as well as friendly service. Excellent place. I was looking for an optometrist for years and a eyeglass store with a large quantity of choice. I was really surprised to find this place with a real welcoming staff and a so professional. The optometrist did a full exam, took her time. She is very kind with a nice sense of caring. The staff took their time for me to choose a frame and eyeglasses with a large choice to choose from (all famous brand and models are there with price sometimes as low as 200$. I recommend it 100%!!

I have never worn contacts before and the process for getting them was super convenient and efficient at Quality Optical. They have their in house optometrist so that I could get my most up to date prescription, and then it took no more than a week to acquire my contacts. Both Andrew and Gina were extremely helpful in the fitting process and the friendly customer service they provide. I will be coming back soon to get more contacts! Thanks again for all your help!

I was referred to Shan and Quality Optical by a friend and I couldn't be happier. I always thought that glasses were glasses and didn't know any better. The quality of the lenses and frames that I purchased was like night and day. I had an adjustment that needed to be made and Shan took care of it without any issues. I drove in from Oakville to get my new specs and sunglasses and it was worth the drive. I highly recommend Shan and her team for any of your optical needs and they have gained a client for life. Ever since my first purchase a few years ago, I've never gone to another optical store. Gina is the absolute best! She is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely up to date with the latest trends and styles. In addition, she is amazing at picking out frames to suit each face. This store carries a wide variety of luxury frames at reasonable prices. If the style is not available, they can order it to the store in a timely fashion. Went in to browse the glasses and had a very pleasant experience and the most ideal outcome. The customer service was very good, the place was very clean and they took extra precautions to make you feel and be safe with cleaning surfaces and chairs and trying on glasses and having them cleaned after for the next browser. Great glasses selection with top designers on display ready to try! With their help I found the perfect pair of glasses for meetings and computer that were both stylish and high quality. Amazing services! Late in the afternoon, I drop by as my glasses required small fix. Didn't realize the store was about to close. The lady who helped me out is professional, friendly and went above and beyond. Not only she fix what I asked, she also adjust the frame which used to be a bit loose, now became a perfect fit. When she told me they did this for free, I was like...seriously? No kidding?? Can't thank her enough for the great help. A lot of choice in the store and price looks competitive. Great experience! For starters, you can set up your eye exam online (super cool), and when I arrived (which was about 15 mins early), I got my eye exam done right away! I decided to purchase frames while I was there, and the sales associate (I want to say her name is Gina but forget) was really helpful. She was very honest about what frames looked good, and helped me choose my glasses. They do their lenses in store, so she said it would only be about an hour wait, and offered me a Tim Horton's gift card. I highly recommend this place!

Talk about a GEM! My husband and myself needed new prescription glasses and were looking for a optical store that would meet ALL our needs in getting our new glasses. We found one right on the Danforth! I went through reviews from quite a few optical store and came across Quality Optical. The reviews are RIGHT ON ! We were greeted by a lovely lady name Gena who seen us through the process from start to finish. Of course with all the new PRECAUTIONS that we all need to practice we still got amazing service and the pairs of glasses, even with these new challenges we all face! Despite coming at the busiest time of the year, the staff at Quality Optical was very friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly quick in getting my order filled. I lost my glasses over the holidays and needed to replace them as quickly as possible, as I struggle to read without them and needed them before returning to work. Despite the end of year rush that optical stores see I was scheduled for an appointment with the eye doctor who was professional and communicated with me throughout. After getting my prescription the sales associate was very helpful, offering suggestions and bringing frames that would suit the structure of my face. After choosing a frame I expected to pay for the frames and to be asked to come back at a later date, as has happened to me every single time I've been to Lenscrafters. It's a ritual that's frankly a bit disheartening. I was very happy when the sales associate told me she would have them ready in the hour and suggested a few nearby options where I could wait with a great cup of coffee. An hour later I returned to the store and had my glasses ready. The glasses look great, fit great and I haven't had one issue in the three weeks I've worn them. I can't recommend this place enough because of the great service that I received.

SCAM! DO NOT GO HERE I saw on their website that the eye exam is just $45. I checked everywhere on their website and didn't see anywhere showing hidden condition. So I decided to go to this place to have my eyes examined. When I was going to pay I was told that the exam fee is $89 which was shocking to me. And then they told me I have to get the eyeglasses to be entitled to the $45. I told them ok I will think about it and when I come back for the eyeglasses they should return me $44. I did some research and found other places offer glasses at more reasonable prices. So I went back trying to bargain and they agreed to lower the price so I decided to do it there. But after I got my glasses and went home, I suddenly realized that the price was not right and the $44 didn't seem to be deducted. I emailed the owner immediately and he agreed to return me the fee. So I went back to the store one more time and this time they claimed that it was deducted and even treated me like I was lying and they were ok to spare me some gas money as mercy. I ended up leaving the store angry and got nothing back. Also after they do the prescription glasses for you, they even swap the original lens to a dummy lens to you as a backup. WHAT A SCAM AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST. DON"T BE AS STUPID AS ME!

Great Service, Quality Products, Trusted by my Family for years I discovered Quality Optical 5 years ago after my favourite glasses guy retired. Before I found him I wandered from one glasses vendor to another, always changing because I was unsatisfied. I consider myself to be very picky, I demand a quality product but I need to have value for my money. I also need a vendor who will work with me, who I can trust, who is authentic and gives me great service without question. I was frankly surprised to be so lucky to find one so soon considering my previous experiences, but find one I did in Quality Optical. Gina has been so great with me, my wife and my daughter, always giving genuine advice on quality, style and how the glasses look on each of us. She has such a positive and optimistic personality. We know about her family and she always asks after mine. Whenever we have any issues with our glasses, which I often do, such as sleep on them, we always get a smile and they take our glasses and fix them right away. When Gina put a small scratch on my lens while trying to fix another frame issue I that created, she immediately told me about this and got the entire lens replaced. Also the gentleman who works there Said is always very friendly and helpful and fixes any issues we have immediately. I have been promising to write a review for Gina for a long time and finally got around to it, sorry for the delay Gina but both Gina and the gentleman fully deserve this glowing review. We couldn't be happier than we are with Quality Optical and highly recommend them for all your optical needs. They even offer eye exams from a highly qualified and equally helpful and friendly Optometrist. This is a great place and I am sure we will continue to frequent this establishment for many years to come and I would encourage anyone I know to do the same.

The name of their clinic really befits its quality service and products. They just don’t make business just for money but they are also concerned with the welfare and needs of their patients/costumers. Also, they give reasonable price for their products. Ms. Gina, one of the staff, was so accomodating and amazing every step of the way. She was very patient with me and my husband and was so smiling the entire time we were there. We were so touched when she offered us water and crackers when we’re waiting for my eyeglasses to be finished. We appreciated it a lot and we highly recommend Quality Optical.

They were super fast and my glasses were ready after just a couple hours. I did go back after a few days to get my frames adjusted, and they were not able to fix this for me, but not for a lack of trying. The staff person was afraid to break them as I did not buy my frames at this store. I went to Rata Optical a few doors down and they were able to straighten for me.

I had purchased glasses from this store a few years ago and the only reason I went back was that they would have a record of my lens option preferences. First red flag was the posted pictures of "thieves" by the front door. The sales staff are annoyingly jumped up. They insisted I provide all my information again even though it was on file. I remarked on the officiousness and I was told "you can't say that", which confirmed my assessment :D. The store has a good selection of frames and the optometrist is good. To be clear the staff confirmed that my information was on file but for some strange reason insisted that I repeat the process. Will be getting my glasses elsewhere from now on.
