I have been going to them for the past 3 years for both glasses and contacts and have enjoyed my visits. I always come out of there with good products, satisfactory care and enjoyable conversation. They have a consistent group that is always there and it just feels like a well run small business. I would recommend everyone to go to Dr. Cusic. First of all, his office staff is AMAZING. I called in to get an appointment and scheduled for an appointment quickly, and they called back saying they had a cancellation and got me in even quicker! She carefully explained to me the precautions that they are taking against covid in office, and let me know what I need to do on my end. Also, their pre visit paperwork is done all online which is amazing, other doctors office have wanted me to print & fill out information and let’s be honest I don’t have a printer while working from home! Now on to the appointment: 1) They have the latest technology which means NO INTENSE PUFF TEST. If that doesn’t convince you to book your next appointment with them, I don’t know what will. 2) Dr. Cusic is the first eye dr that I have had who actually talks through the test with you. I don’t think I have ever had a Dr. say more than “which one is better, this one or this one” and half the time they look the same. Dr. Cusic actually asks question eg “which one is sharper?” Or “do these look about the same?” It was really refreshing. 3) He fitted me with contact lenses that are the best things to ever touch my eye. In case you were wondering, they are Alcon Dailies Total 1. 4) When it came time to discuss payment they made sure that I holistically knew my vision benefits package and made recommendations for me. They also did calculations on how I could save the most amount of money which I appreciate! 5) My past experience with contact fittings is that they recommend a contact brand, do a quick spot check and then you’re done not knowing if they would feel great in an hour or the next day. Not here and it’s great! They sent me home with a trial box and made an appointment for three days later to make sure that they actually felt good. This is the best experience I have ever had with an eye exam. I never once felt rushed, or needed to ask “what is this looking for?” Or “are my results normal?” I walked out with a feeling that the entire office really cares about their patients and what was best with them. I had a wonderful experience here. Before the visit I was sceptical if scleral lens will help my kectoconus eyes. Dr Cusic is very patient and helps in getting the right fit for your eyes. My vision has improved and glare is almost negligible. Scleral lens have a little learning curve for insert and taking care but after a while it feels just like any other lens.

The staff are friendly and the office is clean. One of the best parts of the exam was the LACK of the eye puff test (I hate this test)! Instead, he used a different test altogether to check for glaucoma.

Best optometrist ever!!! I have never had the right prescription. I was told by many that it’s the best they could do. Dr. Cusci was the first to diagnose me with keratoconus. I picked up my contacts yesterday and let me tell you 20/20 vision. I cried of excitement, never have I been able to see this clear. Turns out I have some many more freckles than I thought lol. Cheri helped explain everything I needed to know and caring properly for my contacts and more. She was very patient with me trying to get them in and out. I failed many times but she didn’t give up on me nor got frustrated. I am more than thankful. Years of settling for ok vision when I didn’t have to. Place is a little run-down but doctor was good and I was happy with the prescription. However, assistant transcribed the prescription incorrectly, so when I took a copy of the prescription to have some glasses made up elsewhere they were wrong. Ended up costing me extra time and money to correct.

I’m a pilot and my vision must be correctable to 20/20. Over the years I’ve had difficulty correcting my left eye to this standard and I was begining to think that I had keratoconus. After chatting with Dr.Cusic on the phone (yeah, he actually called me), we decided to schedule an appointment to investigate further. Long story short, Dr. Cusic gave me the most comprehensive eye exam that I’ve ever had...free of charge! Turns out that I don’t have keratoconus, it’s just a dry eye issue, but Dr. Cusic is the only person who has been able to give me answers after years of frustration. Thank you!

The glasses he prescribes are accurate and functional. Cherie works with patients to get stylish glasses and ensures that their prescriptions work as they need them to. And it is a happy office! Go to Optical Images!!! Longer review and context for my enthusiasm for Dr. Cusic and his team: I moved to WA about fifteen years ago. Before that, I had grown up in the care of an optometrist who understood my prescription and was always able to fit me with glasses that I could use immediately, with minimal adjustment to the newly altered prescription. When I moved here, I started going to another practice (NOT Dr. Cusic). I was their patient for over thirteen years. In that time, I never once walked out of the office with a prescription that I could wear immediately; it always took two to four weeks before my eyes settled into each new prescription. It got to the point where I was not ordering new glasses because I did not want to go through the adjustment struggles. Though I did wonder that they had problems getting my Rx correct every time I ordered glasses, I also know that I have a challenging astigmatism, so I chocked up the Rx issues to the fact that I was getting older, and my prescription was adjusting as I got older. I always gave my previous doctors the benefit of the doubt, because they were the “experts,” and I trusted them. Well, two years ago, this all came to a head. The cycle of glasses not working and them questioning me happened three times in one year, and I never got a pair of glasses that worked. One of the doctors in their practice told me that “they could no longer help me.” They made me pay three times for the lenses (again, none of which worked), and when I had enough, I had to fight to get my money refunded for the third pair of lenses. The way I was treated was appalling. Because I needed new glasses, I discovered Dr. Cusic, and since he was a low vision specialist, I hoped he would be able to figure out my tricky prescription. HE DID!!! Though it did take some time for the glasses to be made correctly (Cherie was genius and kindness incarnate, trying to make it right), THE GLASSES WORKED!!! I have just finished getting my second pair of glasses and a pair of new sunglasses from Dr Cusic. When the glasses arrived and I put them on in the office, I COULD SEE IMMEDIATELY! I almost started crying! After thirteen years of struggle and being told I had a difficult prescription, I finally have a doctor who understands my prescription. Because Cherie is amazing, I was excited to get new glasses for the first time in years. So, GO TO OPTICAL IMAGES! They will serve you well!

This office is amazing. The receptionist, I believe her name is Karen? Is so lovely and welcoming and helpful. Dr. Cusic is kind and thorough. It is immediately obvious that he knows what he is doing and genuinely wants to help and inform his patients. I struggle with dry eye syndrome and have had to be my own advocate and have been to three doctors looking for relief. Dr. Cusic is specialized in dry eye and other ocular surface diseases. If you have eye care needs beyond a typical eye exam, this really seems like the clinic for you. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Hello all. I hope this reaches all that need it in good faith. For people like myself with low vision I highly recommend this place. I moved here from Memphis last year and I have had low vision my whole life. However I have been driving with the aid of a bioptic telescopic lens since 1999. When I moved to Seattle last year I knew I would need to get a new driver license. Dr. Cusic helped make it possible for me to keep driving once I moved to Washington. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Cusic and the entire staff at optical images. For those of you out there that may be interested in driving with a bioptic, this is the place to go. I found Optical Images from Google review and I would like to provide my personal feedback about this store. Dr. Cuss is a great doctor and it didn’t take too long for him to find my prescription. However, what impress me most is the lady who assist me to get the frame setup. Since I have a very strong prescription and I had bad experience with other optical store, I told her about my concern. She explained all my concern and encourage me to ask her any question if needed. After I got my new lenses, I tried it at store which seems pretty good. I can see very clear through the new lenses. However, after I went back home, I found out that the lenses area that allow me to see clear is only about 30%. If I try to shift my eyeball a little bit, everything became blurry. I called her next day about my concern and she told me that what she can do is to order a new pair of lenses and add “digital enhancement” feature. All I need to do is to pay the price difference which is about $100. I am still waiting for the new lenses and hopefully it can solve my problem. Optical Images do care about its customer and I would recommend it to all the google users that need a good optical solution. By the way, their receptionist Karen is also friendly.
