Exceptional service and solid quality; the staff is welcoming, fun and answered every question I had. Clarence went above and beyond helping me pick out a pair of frames, and when I went back to have my glasses adjusted he provided me a case and a cleaning solution! I also really appreciated Rebecca's help when I went to pick up my new glasses and she even cleaned my dad's sunglasses!

I had my first appointment at Hakim yesterday evening and my experience was great from start to finish. Dr. Oliver and his assistant were both wonderful, warm and friendly and completed my eye exam quickly and professionally. I was impressed at the huge selection of new eyeglasses I could choose from and was assisted in my selection by Johnny, just about the friendliest person I've ever met! Johnny helped me choose the right shape and tone for my face and was very helpful and professional in getting all of my information processed. I can't wait to receive my new glasses and will 100% be returning to Hakim McPhillips for all of my and my families' optical needs. Thank you!

Bought a pair of hakim glasses almost 8 years ago still going strong lenses are scratched but that's my fault I am hard on glasses They were very courteous and professional when I went there the technician very educated and I tell everyone to go there Can't wait till they open again so I can get a new pair Just bought 2 new pairs for 800 love going to hakim great service friendly and approachable Helped me find the right glasses for work and home Never go anywhere else ????

Poor quality frames. It was a mistake and waste of money. Spent almost 2K for my glasses and my son’s and 3 frames didn’t even last for a year. Frames were uncomfortable and flimsy….sadly I was also given a wrong information by one of the associates here. Wasted my time and money to summarize my experience.

I went in for a contact lens fitting and Rebeca was awesome. She was friendly, patient, and had order in a second set of trials for me to make sure they were the perfect fit. Definitely recommend seeing her if you're in the market for contact lenses!

The Optometrists Dr. Oliver is fantastic. Very personable, and friendly. highly recommend. The store is clean, but comes across as too busy with random displays of glasses in an unorganized way.

Super great service! Staff were super patient, lovely, & helpful when i picked my frame! I honestly don't understand why they're get such bad reviews. I , wear & rough with my glasses everyday never break them! fogging is annoying wit the face masks but i love my glasses!

Moved to the city last year, my wife needed glasses so we did a quick stop to check out their selection. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is one particular staff member that really stood out above the rest, her name is Anna and she was awesome. She took the time to help out, didnt rush us, spent 2 hrs with my wife to ensure she had help with choosing the right pair of glasses. Very friendly and thorough when explaining everything. Management should be very proud to have such a great employee. We will definitely go back next time we need glasses.

Terrible customer service. I bought glasses for my daughter that were expensive but i bought as she liked it, the gave wrong advice. It was uncomfortable and broke and was under warranty. Its been 20 days i am waiting for them and she needs to wear them all day long. I called and the lady who picked up phone started making fun of me. They are forgetting we pay 650 for glasses that's why they are earning. Never going back there. Proud and very rude and unkind.

joke of a place. Called in the evening so they could hold some glasses and came the morning after to find they did not have them on hold for me, i went out of my way just to come to this place after the staff assured me they had the glasses but when i got there thy just kept me waiting and they could not fund it. would not come again

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses at the McPhillips Street store since I happen to be in the area. I now live in the other side of town. They had a huge selection an I found 2 pairs of glasses that I liked. The adjustments on the glasses weren't the best. I wore the glasses for a number of days, and dropped in at the store on St James. They adjusted the glasses, and so far seem to be fine. I am happy, at this point. Thanks, J. Lavitt

Zirka the contact lense fitter is amazing. I have worn contact lenses for over 20 years and she is by far the most thorough and attentive adviser I have ever had. The store is also extremely well stocked with trial lenses. I have a very strong prescription and have NEVER had a store have a trial pair of contact lenses my strength in store (they always have to order them) but this place actually had some, so I could try them that day not having to wait for a couple of weeks. Wonderful experience, I will be referring my friends and family.

Simply stating that all of my previous purchases,and including the one today,have all been triple grade A! Starting with the clean and well placed displays,full of modern choices,continuing to the most capable and comforting staff......this is a trusted system!! Ya,sure you can save some dough,ordering sub-standard glasses from some third world location,thats a very risky option. However,for myself i sure believe the follow up service i get everytime,including free adjustments,is certainly worth the value i place on having correct sight!! Dont gamble with such a purchase,patronize a well established and fair responsible company! Find Madiha or Zirka,relax,and enjoy no pressure shopping,with free advice on all matters concerning your new eyewear!! Ya,for sure i do reccomand this place,everytime!!

I got my prescription glasses two pairs as they say its a deal.I am extremely disappointed with my both pairs as they left nose marks if i just put them on for 1 min or so. I showed that to the store associates and still one of them denied. Finally then i paid another $122 approx to get new one. . I am still getting nose marks and the pair of prescription glasses my mom wears whole day no marks on her nose and her number is higher than me. I wore for few minutes take them off rub my nose again put them on. I learnt a lesson I would never go to Hakim Opticles again.This is Mcphillips location . Associates give false information about orders when they are arriving.

Purchased the two for $ 199 and straight up, both pairs fell apart within 3 months of use and I'm not rough with my things. They are cheaply manufactured and for what I've paid I would spend my $$ somewhere else...like Zenni optical. $ 35 tax included with frame and lenses. Staff were decent and the optometrist there is nice.

These guys are not trustworthy First they do eye check up & give ur prescription for only glasses, when we ask for contact lenses , they will ask to come contact lenses fitting session, then comes the real deal !!! Contact lense prescription needs more charges.Eye glass prescription & Contact lenses prescription have separate charges extra?? Not going any more, will avoid HAKIM OPTICALS . ABOVE CHARGES ARE JUST FOR PRESCRIPTION, there is no additional eye check up or examination for contact lenses..Be Ready to pay more than 100$ just for prescriptions...

Went to the McPhillips location for an eye exam and glasses for my son. The exam was completed quickly then we worked with Leslie to select frames. She was excellent! Patient, friendly, provided great suggestions and feedback. Leslie made the visit enjoyable and fun. Plus the price for 3 pairs was unbeatable! Definitely going back!

Had a bad experience with one of the staff when I was there, the store was not too busy at the time and I was waiting to be served but the worker that day kept moving to assist new customers coming in through the door and did not give me even a glance as I sat there waiting for almost an hour. Overall it was terrible customer service.
