Would highly recommend Dr. David Sherin. After wearing glasses/contacts and having eye exams for over 20 years, I learned more about my eyes in my appointment here than I ever have. Dr. Sherin took his time to answer my questions and explain why he was doing all the tests he was doing. I left feeling as though my concerns were heard. Very good clinic.

Dr. Louise Myshak is absolutely the best. My husband and I have been going to her for 18 years. We are never rushed. She is so thorough and explains every detail. We love her. All the staff have been friendly and helpful. So glad we found this place.5 stars for sure

I had the best first experience at Tutt Street Optometry. The staff was very friendly, punctual and organized. I met with Dr. Simair and had a fantastic experience. She was warm and welcoming, knowledgable and personable. She explained everything very well and didn't make the appointment feel rushed at all. You can tell she truly loves what she does and cares about her patients. I would recommend Dr. Simair to anyone who is looking for a new optometrist!!

The optometrist was great but the sales lady was terrible. I'm a single dad on a disability and the sales lady was very put out because I had coverage from the province. She messed it up and refused to resend in the claim like the province suggested and I ended up paying an extra $132.00 after she sent me a letter saying she was taking me to a creditor. She made me feel very bad. My son's glasses lens keeps falling out and I'm too embarrassed to go in. I paid over $600 for these glasses and I never had such a bad experience. It took me a year just to get over it and post this after being humiliated for being a poor disabled single father. Only go if you're rich:(

This was our second experience at Tutt Street Optometry. Our first was for our son, and I was left disappointed (just another number). A family member recommended I give them another chance. This time I requested a different optometrist in hopes of a better experience. I was unfortunately disappointed again. The appointment was rushed from the get go same experience as my first. I brought my previous prescription in to review my concerns, and was told they were not needed, even though I was asked for some details on prior exams, which I could not remember by memory therefore brought in my paperwork. She was not interested, folded them up, and rushed me to put them away! The optometrist did most of the talking. I was then interrupted by an urgent phone call from my son's allergy specialist (which took 15 seconds), and I had waited for this call for over 1 year, thus had to take the call. The optometrist was kind enough to step out of the office, but then I was told that we had to get on with the appointment so not to cause a "snow ball" effect with other clients waiting. I was barely in the seat 5 minutes! I felt I could no longer ask questions or express concerns about my vision, and sat quietly, as I was being rushed through the appointment. She was "rambling" on about my options; all medical terms which I could not follow, nor take notes. At one point eye photos did not populate onto her computer, and had not transferred over from the front area. Their internal technical error. Turns out the assistant had not saved the file, so my photos did not transfer over, and they wanted me to redo. I felt it was a total waste of time with the way I was left hanging at this appointment. I was told my prescription is somewhat complex (isn't this why I was here?), and to avoid having me wait for a contact lenses follow up refitting & adjustment to go to Costco, since they are much more flexible and carry several contact lenses options. Wow! I think I was just brushed off! Lesson learned. Always ask how much time you have when you are paying for your eye exam, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or more, ask for a doctor that will allow you to express your concerns. I guess I'm off to Costco! I am now updating my review. Costco was help. I have recently returned to Tutt and insisted, they follow through with my check up I paid for, and wished to see a different doctor. I have been referred to Dr. Sharon. He's amazing. His bedside manner by far supersedes what I have experienced with the other doctors at this location. I would recommend Dr. Sharon at this location for contact lenses fitting. The price is more expensive, but it is worth seeing Dr. Sharon. He's had me back 3 more times to check that my contacts are fitting correctly. He takes his time, and there is no rush. It really does depend on which doctor you get at this location. Thank you

Had a wonderful experience with Bree Anderson. I have had an issue with my eyes for the past year and had visited a different clinic for four months last summer with no positive improvement. After two weeks with Bree my eyes are maintained back to normal and I'm able to wear contacts again! So thankful for my positive experience at Tutt Street.

Excellent Doctors and excellent service from the Doctors... However I was very disappointed with the front end staff. Probably the worst customer service I have received in my life. It felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there and was talked to with attitude. I would've walked out of there if it wasn't for the amazing Doctor we were seeing.

Update on November 10th, 2021: Apparently upon someone seeing yesterday's addendum, I got an email today, telling me that I should not have received the reminder and that the company owners had dropped the charges. So far so good - but why did nobody deem it prudent to inform their (ex-)customers of this? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Update on November 9th, 2021: Not only did Tutt Street Optometry not reply when I emailed them more than 2 weeks ago upon seeing their response post (which I mistakenly took for an olive branch), but they sent me a second invoice today! ------------------------------------------------------------------- On September 1st, 2021 I went for my bi-annual eye exam with Dr. Bree Anderson from Tutt Street Optometry. My wife, daughter & I have been their clients for many years. Toward the end of the appointment, Dr. Anderson noted that some 'dry spots' on my eyes might have an impact on her prescription and recommended that I take some eye drops for 2 weeks to improve this condition so that she would be able to arrive at a more accurate prescription. She assured me multiple times that this follow-up exam would just take a few minutes and would be free of charge. To that end, I purchased said eye drops from Tutt Street Optometry and paid the exam bill in full before leaving. My follow-up exam was scheduled for Sept.15, 2021. On the 14th I did receive a reminder call and the caller mentioned that I would be seeing a different doctor. I assumed that Dr. Anderson must somehow have become unavailable. I was simply informed of this change and not queried as to whether I was OK with this. Much to my surprise, I received a second call on the morning of the follow-up appointment. I was informed that they had 'accidentally' booked me with Dr. Bernot instead of Dr. Anderson and asked if I would be OK with that, or whether I only wanted to see Dr. Anderson. Since I am generally an agreeable person and had already set a time slot aside for the appointment, I agreed to see whoever they had booked me with. I had a pleasant visit with Dr. Bernot who answered all my questions to my fullest satisfaction. But imagine my surprise, as I went to the front desk to collect my prescription and was asked to pay an additional $33.00. I told the woman at the front desk that I was promised a free follow-up and expected them to honour this promise. The FD staff then went to consult with Dr. Bernot and upon her return informed me that Dr. Bernot expected me to pay. She further explained that the cost was due to me seeing a different doctor and that they should have mentioned that during the earlier call; she did acknowledge that this didn't happen. I am fairly certain that she was the one who actually called me that morning. Obviously, I would have insisted on seeing Dr.Anderson for free, had they done their due diligence and informed me of the additional cost. The staff member then went to consult with who appeared to be a front desk manager of sorts. This manager didn't even bother to come to see me at the front desk, but spoke rather loudly to me from the far corner where her desk is located, only to inform me that she'd have to look into it and that they would not let me have my prescription. at this time. Thus I left Tutt Street Optometry empty-handed. The next day I received my prescription in an email, without any accompanying text - just an attachment! To say that I am utterly disappointed with a clinic that does not honour promises made by one of their doctors and thus shows a complete lack of accountability & integrity would be an understatement. It was also sad to see (and speaks poorly of the clinic & its leadership), that their front desk management? has not been empowered to settle minor disputes caused by nobody but themselves right then & there. As if this were not already a sad affair, imagine my surprise when I received a statement of account for $33.00 on October 7th. I will most certainly let this go to court if need be.

Once again took 45 minutes (past our appointment time) to get in to see the doctor. Our time is equally valuable. Please get a proper software solution to book patient appointments. Walk in clinics are faster!

Fantastic place. I go here for my yearly appointment. One time I had an emergency they got me in within one hour. Dr. Greg Wallace clearly explained what was happening and got me into a specialist across the street right after seeing him. Everything is now ok with my eye. The front of house are friendly and Knowledgable. Highly recomment this office
