But the friendly and knowledgeable staff (Raymond) at Image Optometry in Orchard Mall Kelowna, made it easy and fun. Doctor was telling me he can only give me glasses, after i told him thats a hard no ill take my service else where he decided to try selling me on dailey contacts which cost atleast 500 more per month than regular contacts. I feel he was trying to take advtage of me. Anyways he was going to give me contacts that i could throw out after 30 days. He gave me a tester to put in, didnt instruct me on how to do it, i tried 3 times but couldnt get em to stick he got frustrated, told me he doesnt have time to teach me today and he wont sell them to me. My apointment was for 5, they called and asked me to come for 430 so i cancled other apointments i had to accommodate them. Im really annoyed. Least to say i have my prescription. Though im doubtful its accurate. I will be taking my business else way. P.s i never leave reviews. You messed up man. Im mad

Does not even deserve 1 star! Worst costumer service I have ever seen in a business! I had an appointment to get contact Oct. 2019 and because of poor staffing, file management and communication. I am as of today July 2020 am having to wait yet another week to receive what was supposed to be a simple transaction as each and every time you have to see the “doctor”. and Notes are not properly entered in on my file I had to explain the situation at least 8-10 times for each person I had to interact with. They did try to make it right but it is a min. hour long argument each time! Plan at least 2 hours if you plan to talk to them regarding your file!

They also had no problem getting prescription lenses made for the frames that another optical store said that it was impossible to do prescription lenses in. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I bought glasses that they say the gems would NEVER come out, first week I had 3 fall out. I went in and they ordered me a new frame. I get a text message saying they’re ready to be picked up and they will need 10-15 mins to switch out the frames. I go in today to get the frames switched and this lady with long black hair that unfortunately helped me kept asking me to repeat my name... she had a hard time even finding my frames then after she found them she said that I would need to leave my glasses with her... I tell her the text message I got said it would be 10-15 mins and I can’t see without my glasses and she says the 1 person they have that can switch frames is on break and I would need to leave my glasses there. Clearly this doesn’t work as I am literally blind without my glasses, I couldn’t even walk through the mall. I was not offered anything except come back another day to still give up my glasses for “awhile” This lady I dealt with had zero clue on how to interact with customers. I will be calling Chris the one person that was actually helpful at this place.

Prices are ok and the doctor was great during the exam however customer service otherwise was atrocious. We did their promotional offer for an eye exam, lenses,and frames. My wife paid extra for her frames and after not even a month the arm came off. Clean break, clearly a defect in craftmanship. She was told they would replace it as an exception this time, but they have NO WARRANTY ON ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. Never in my 10 years of working retail have I EVER heard of something so ridiculous as No Warranty on a brand new product (let alone one that is being medically prescribed). Most have a minimum 30 day satisfaction period. Either management needs to step in and properly train staff in customer service or the company is deliberately trying to RIP people off

I really do not look forward to shopping for new glasses….which is likely shared with many others who don’t enjoy doing that. But I went into Image Optometry and totally changed my mind! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. AND patient! The selection of frames is impressive and of excellent quality. I came in with glasses that did not fit well and had been driving me crazy….but with help, I found two frames that feel like I’m not wearing any glasses at all. So in a very reasonable time I had picked my new glasses, including prescription sunglasses. I was told they should come back with my lenses in approx 2 weeks and that’s exactly what happened. I was fitted well when I picked them up…and was offered forever adjustments if required. I must add that I had a different staff person each time I went in so dealt with 3 staff helping me personally and a couple of others who helped with feedback on frames….and every one of them was knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly. This is the first time I went to Image Optometry and I will highly recommend this location and all of the people who work there. Sorry I can’t remember all the names, so I won’t even try….but I must thank Chris for seeing me through my selections on my first visit. I’m not a happy shopper, that’s for sure, but his patience and humour made it all good! Thanks to all Marilyn…happy eye glass wearer!

Worst customer service ever! Booked an eye exam for two kids, 2.5 weeks out and showed up for it and they had it in their system but were still firm that I had it wrong. Said I could come back in 2 weeks their soonest appointment. Very disappointing when you organize your whole day to make the appointment and it doesn’t work out.

I made a purchase through groupon not knowing what to expect. However, I had a great experience with the staff. For me (new contact wearer) there were unexpected expenses when doing the groupon thing but at least what I dealt with was understandable. I guess beware of hidden groupon expenses but I was very pleased with the customer service so I rate the experience high. I will be back for future prescriptions.

I found Image Optometry through Groupon Coupon. I looked them up and they were close by and had good reviews. This will not be one of them. After getting my glasses I have gone back 4 times to get issue after issue resolved. Each time I leave the store I feel like it is my fault that my eyes don't make the lenses better, rather than it being the other way around. I believe they have the best intentions, yet they are not trained in solution resolution, just proving that their lenses work. One pair I bought for driving is unusable in any way that would be considered normal. The upper left part of the progressive lens is the only space where the focus point is clear, and I have to tilt my head at an angle to see clearly while driving. It's uncomfortable and weird way to drive. I would get it resolved yet I am exhausted after 4 attempts. I am told my eyes must have changed as they lenses are a "million million times perfect". My experience goes like this: they have wrote the wrong prescription. put lenses in the wrong frames, added unrequested upgrades, and told me it is my eyes fault and not the lenses. My last effort to get one pair of lenses corrected took over an hour (15 -20 minutes max would have been realistic) and I walked away feeling I owed them a 5 star rating. Oddly their words didn't make the lenses work any better. I am so frustrated because one $200 pair is too blurry to use and I will probably end up throwing them away. The other $200 pair will be as a back up and I will go back to $35 Foster Grant readers as I've never had an issue with them. I think they really do try to be good a customer service. It's just when it doesn't go right it's my eyes that need to get better, but isn't that why I got the glasses in the first place because, well, they're not.

Very competent, amazing customer service, willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you end up loving your glasses! Prices cant be beat on lenses. I will be coming back for every new set of lenses from now on!

Terrible service. They gave me a 2 week window when my glasses would be in, 1 month passes by, I get a phone call saying they broke my frames. No where did they say that if they broke my frames I’d have to buy new ones but they refuse to hold any accountability. So I pick out new frames, the worker there says he’ll speak to the manager and call me back Monday morning as soon as possible. Well, Wednesday comes and I have not received a phone call STILL, so I’ve had enough and I call. They’ll offer me 20% off $200 frames. I asked for just the refund back but they only do In store credit so I’m forced to staying with them. Terrible, terrible service I would never recommend this place to anyone who wants to actually get service and their glasses done right.

I'm so unpleased with their service; I called and emailed them regarding the contact lenses I purchased from their website but received so response from them. Additionally, they removed all their products from their website. This is what I get after trusting image optometry. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE CONTACT LENSES FROM THEM! I purchased their HD2O silicone gel contact lenses after reading the positive reviews but who knows those reviews could be written by the employees that work there. After wearing their contact lenses for an hour; my eyes started to sting and were blurry by the end of the day as well as hurting for 2 days straight.
