What's to say about a place that could care less about you, has no interest if you don't look like you have money, and feels it is not necessary to keep you informed about what is happening with your expensive purchase? Arrogant, rude, entitled and obnoxious male staff members. Glasses arrived a week early, YAY, but came in and frames were not correct, so rather than inform me when I stopped in to check if they may have arrived, decided to tell me nothing. A week later when they should have arrived, they hadn't and rather than explain or apologize, they decided it was my fault for being more than angry and finding the situation unacceptable. I'm sorry but when you are handling a product I paid upwards of $400 for, it is customary to inform your customers of any change that happens with their account, It is called customer service, and this place has NONE, unless again you are a millionaire.

Exceptional customer service! After having a not so ideal experience at another eyewear shop on the mall, I headed over to LensCrafters, Evan was quick to find exactly what I was looking for. Seamless from start to finish, I picked up my glasses today, a few days before they were due to arrive, and am very happy with their services. Paid $500 for Rayban sunglasses. Almost immediately the coatings delaminated. Took me too long to go back to store; "nothing we can do". To get just new Rayban lenses costs $500. Are you kidding me? Ok cheaper option is 'only $300'. I have enough on my insurance to cover it. Check insurance but no, they won't cover the full amount. I will be out of pocket $180 to replace lenses that were defective. Not happening Lenscrappers Update: they were good at getting back to me the next day but "working together to solve this issue" is a joke - they basically said I am out of luck. Won't shop there ever again...

Called twice regarding information about my lenses, was told by Jill that they can't find information about it. Terrible customer service. Went in 3 times in May to have them fixed-- third time's a charm isn't always the best motto to live by.

Overall my wife and I had an amazing experience here. Our first visit we looked around and I found the pair of glasses I was looking for, however, I needed an updated perscription. Once we had that several days later, we came back and got my pair. Overall the employees there genuinely care about you. We didn't know the mall closed at 6pm, and they stayed a bit late to finish our order up. I do recommend them not only for the selection, but the service as well. Not to mention, the prices were actually quite reasonable.

Such a bad customer service! All employees, without any exception, are not welcoming, helpfull and sympathic. I went there as I did my exam in their office. The doctor service was perfect. But then, I wanted to see and buy frames for me, my husband and my 2 kids. The first employee didn't help me to find a frame that can fit on my face. She just gave me a box to put the frame that I liked. No advice! At all!! Then I asked for a quote. For sure there is 50% now on the lenses. But I've never seen such expensive lenses!!Lenses for kids are $431 regular price!! I don't talk about progressive lenses!! And for that price they don't give you any cloth to clean your eyewear as it's a kid frame. Unbelievable!! And I came back 2 days later to try some other frames to make my final choice. It was5pm, they close at 6pm. Even before I explained what I was looking for and what I needed. She jsut told me without any smile that I won't have my eyeglasses today as It's already 5pm!!! First of all, they should try to help me to find a frame that I like. The manager should have a look and train better their employees. You miss so much business in your shop!! Such a lake of quality service and good atmosphere. I won't recommend this place at all.

If I could I would rate them 0. I have always used this Company (just not in Kelowna) for my new glasses & contacts and always found them super helpful & professional. I attended this location in Orchard Park and looked forward to the same helpful, professional staff! I was looking for glasses and I observed 4 - 5 staff & a person that referred to as a manager but no one helped me. They were all too busy chatting amongst themselves. The store was basically empty except for myself & my friend. Over & over I tried to get some help, even from the so called Manager but they all walked away! After almost 20 minutes I gave up in frustration & I went to their competition in the same mall & they helped me to find glasses. I purchased them from their competition! I don’t think they cared! Disgusted

Terrible service, came in with my prescription from optometrist in same store asking about rates for new lenses. The lady at LensCrafters desk didn't even look at my prescription and started giving me super expensive rates without any details. Asking about other options, I was told that there were none. The store "image" right beside gave me excellent service with multiple options.

Spent nearly 60CAD cab fare to get to the store for new frames and prescription service, spoke to them on the phone extensively before going for a quotation on the price ONLY TO GET BAITED AND SWITCHED when i actually got there in person! To add insult to injury, got some SERIOUS attitude from there customer service. You want glasses? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The ONLY reason why im giving 5 star is because the girl named JILL that works inside the lab was very nice, had a smile on!!( the rest of the girls that works on the floor did not know how to when a customer walks in...JILL was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable. She should work more on the floor helping customer and put the the so called manager inside the lab and the rest of the girls that works on the floor...the first thing that these girls should do when customer walks in is to smile and say Hi..whether theyre attending other customer or not!..overall not a bad experience because we had JILL...otherwise i would not give 5 star..but i will rate those girls that works on the floor.........where's the zero?

I was never emailed, my glasses where sitting there for about 12+ days more than should have. Had to call the service desk at the mall to get them to call me! I needed them for work pretty bad.

LensCrafter has gone above and beyond not just once but twice in three months! It seems my puppy has a certain love for my glasses and has chewed on them for the second time now. And by chewed I mean into tiny little pieces. Frames and Lenses. Not only did LensCrafters replace my first set of glasses in a day, they sold me insurance just incase it happened again. Well unfortunately, today I put that policy to the test. The staff at LensCrafters were caring, efficient and fast. Sadly, I now have to wait two weeks as they no longer make the full prescription in the store but they will be replacing my lenses and frames for the small co-pay price of $52.50. Plus, they treated me with respect and dignity even though my determined dog (who opened the bathroom door, rooted around on the counter, under my clothes and grabbed my glasses) once again ruined my glasses. Absolutely hands down the best customer service I have received. I’m from Edmonton, Alberta but my health insurance is based out of BC and I’m having trouble finding businesses in Edmonton to direct bill my insurance company. I called and spoke to a few associates at the Kelowna location to see if I could possibly just order through them and they could bill my provider because they accept them (still waiting on that part) lol. One of the ladies I spoke with went absolutely above and beyond and went as far as calling LensCrafters locations here in Edmonton to see if they could do it but unfortunately they couldn’t but none the less I am incredibly thankful for the help. You guys are absolutely amazing and really set the bar high in customer service! So thank you!!!

I felt compelled to write a review as I have been dealing here forever!! I must have gotten 5 pairs of glasses by now and have never had issues in the past but the last time I was in, there was zero customer service. The girls all stood or sat around looking bored and one gave me a weak hello. I browsed around for about half an hour and was not acknowledged again. I ended up leaving (again walked out with no acknowledgment) and returned the next day with my spouse as I needed help and someone’s opinion on frames. Again we spent about 45 min walking around with no help and I was holding 5 pairs of frames in my hands that were a “maybe” and still wasn’t offered help or even a tray. At one point when I couldn’t decide between two, my spouse said loudly to me beside a girl sitting down “maybe you should get the opinion of one of these experts who know what they are doing” and she completely disregarded us still. I remember in the past sitting down with my choices and they pulled you up on camera and helped you look at different angles, etc. I finally chose a pair and walked over to a girl and set them down and ordered them. I never write negative reviews but the lack of customer service was evident here! Maybe hire some people who care about their job and the people in the store. I have spent thousands of dollars there on high end frames..

I could just be too picky as these are my first glasses, but there are small gaps between the lens and frame at the top of both sides. I got a deal down from originally around $600 which was awesome!! But I'd expect better work for the around $400 that I paid. Make sure u examine ur glasses before you leave :)!

Have mixed views. Had great customer service at first. But when my mother went to have the glasses better fit the representative who works weekends with long dark hair made her feel awful. Pointing out that her glasses were not top of the line and made it sound like because of that my mother was "less then". She took no time to help my mother, in her 70s, didn't even have a seat while she "helped" my mother. My mother spent over $500 on her glasses. And out of pocket. She wouldn't make any commission from tightening a frame anyways so being kind obviously is too much for this person. Kelowna is large. Go elsewhere where your business will be valued.

This is specifically for the optometrist office attached to Lenscrafters. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. I arrived 15 minutes early. After standing at the counter for several minutes and the three women shuffling papers all over the place I was told they over-booked my appointment time by 5 people. I was told I'd have to rebook. This happened the first time I went there too. I will never go back. Unprofessional service. To that end Lensecrafters has lost my business as well. I can't be bothered to go back there as the mall is too busy even with Covid. If my appointment had happened I would have had glasses ordered at Lensecrafters today. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks for an appointment elsewhere.

He helped me while picking out my frames, and then again helped me when I brought my husband in a week later to see what he thought of the frames I tentatively had picked out. We ordered them and two weeks later I attended the store to pick them up. Jack called me by my first name when I attended the shop to get my new glasses. Not very helpful. I went in and spoke to someone there, I explained that I was looking for new glasses that are comfortable. He showed me some displays and brands and then left me by myself. He said he'd come back on check on me soon but he didn't so I just left, unfortunately. I was really hoping to have someone help me find new glasses with good fit - if I wanted to just look myself without any help I'd go to Costco, Superstore or another big box store. I figured that going to a reputable glasses store like Lenscrafters I would find staff who have expertise and would be able to help - but that wasn't the case, at least not on this visit.

I am completely blown away by the service and advice but especially the product . Because of my prescription I was directed to Varilux Lenses and it has changed my world. From the moment I put them on it was like I could see clearly absolutely everything with no straining to read or look in the distance they made my vision seamless like a new pair of eyes ! I had no issue with my eyes training to adjust to the new progressive prescription the did as soon as I put The glasses on ! I am a true believer of the difference A Varilux Lens can make to my vision and my life . Well done LensCrafters! And Thanks!
