What a great place I will be back for sure : ) Went in for a repair on my prescription glasses the person that helped me was very friendly, helpful and fast. My repair was done in less that 3 minutes and no charge. Wow haven't had customer service like that in a while; very refreshing. Sun City is the place to go for Eyewear!

Just got back from sun city optics and I must say, the service was something that I haven’t experienced before. Rather than just focusing on selling a product, the kind lady there made sure I got what I was looking for. My appointment was to buy new glasses, but we came to a conclusion that my old ones were perfectly fine and on top of that, she aligned my frame for me too. I will definitely go again, they have earned a permanent customer! Loved it. The world needs more people like this!

Amazing place. walked in and right away I was greeted by a friendly young lady. I got my eyes checked and glasses picked out in the same day, and I left with a few days worth of free contacts to see if I can wear them. I had also received my glasses a few days later. If you are just looking for an optical shop in Kamloops, Sun city optics offers excellent customer service and best quality of frames and lenses. The owner is knowledgeable and very helpful. I always get a prompt response everytime I have some questions or concerns from the friendly owner Jannine. Free eyesight test and some great promos are just bonuses from this shop! And yes! My family and friends love this optical place too!

I cannot say how amazing Sun City Optics is. I contacted Sun City Optics after not having any luck getting new lenses for a pair of expensive sunglasses from other optical places in Kamloops. Very informative, presents a variety of options and goes the extra mile for the customer, Repairs were top notch and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Sun City Optics to anyone needing repairs or new glasses or sunglasses. One of the best experiences I have had in a long time!

Recently my wife and I both purchased frames and lenses from Janine at Sun City, Janine is prompt, professional and cheerful. She has a great eye for fit, comfort and style. However even more impressive is her follow-up. Our optometrist made an error on the prescription therefore my wife's glasses could not be worn. Janine suggested that we have the eye examination checked which was when the error was discovered. Our optometrist was apologetic but didn't offer any compensation for the lenses to be replaced. It was Janine at Sun City that offered replacement lenses at no cost to us. I might add that the frame fit was perfect in both cases on the first attempt and that this is the same type of service that we received from Janine for glasses that we previously purchased at Sun City some 2 and half years ago. I might add that her prices are comparable to any big box stores like Costco. Thank you Janine for your service and your smile. You are our choice for any future glasses. I had been looking so desperately for somewhere that was open so I could get my sight tested and my lenses changed. Janine was amazing and we got everything sorted out online and by the end of the week my 10 year old lenses that had been destroyed through wear and tear we're we're replaced in literally minutes. So I fell and bent my glasses very badly but nothing broke...( of course at the beginning of quarantine so no one would even let me come look at frames) I called many places and none were willing to even see if the glasses could be bent back. I knew there was a risk of them breaking when attempting to bend them back. Well Janine from Sun City was willing to at least try! As soon as it was safe she fit me in. Sadly the glasses were beyond repair as I have an astigmatism and we could not get them straight enough. So Janine helped me to get them replaced as soon as possible because I couldn't see lol. She was caring with my needs and addressed all of my concerns! Highly recommend and will continue to go there myself.

I went in to get my eyes checked, my glasses kept giving me headaches. Not only was I able to get in quickly, the place was immaculate. Phenominal service and care. Got a new and correct prescription and I got them in contacts. Never having worn prescription contacts, I was given 5 trial day contacts IN my correct prescription. Plus two different (non perscription) coloured contacts that I could test to see which I liked more. I got my new contacts shipped to my current residence promptly after ordering. And even got messages about when they were shipped out, and if I had received them. AMAZING staff! AMAZING experience!! Highly recommend!!! 10/10 will be going back!

Dropped off my Maui Jim's to swap out lenses today (May 19th 2020) I provided the lenses to be inserted and they took care of the rest. Very friendly and had the glasses done within an hour for pickup AND no charge for this. I will go here for anything to do with my glasses from now on.

I broke the wire around one of my lenses, picked Sun City Optics because it was the closest to my work. Went in and was greeted right away by a very friendly young lady. Am I ever glad I picked this place, she had my glasses fixed and put new nose pieces on as well (without me asking). Called me about Two hours after I had dropped them off. Charged me....0$ nothing! I couldn't talk her into letting me paying her, I mean time is money, and she wouldn't except a penny, I absolutely recommend this place! I would give her 6 stars if I was able. I will be back when it's time for new glasses. Not the biggest selection of frames but I'll at least try and give her my business. Thank you again Janine!

I have been wearing glasses for 10+ years and visited many optical clinics in Kamloops throughout the years and this is the best place I have been so far. Janiene is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what I needed and also gave me a some free contact lenses to try on. Prices for prescription glasses are very reasonable as well (I visited few clinics before coming here and most of them were a lot more expensive than the prices here). Highly recommend this place
