What an a incredible team of professional, and compassionate individuals. I have been lucky enough to be cared for by all the Optometrists at KFV and have been treated so well the last 8 years. I have a chronic condition that can flare up, and because of this I see the doctors and staff regularly. They are always friendly and kind and if its an emergency, they always do the best to accommodate me and squeeze me in. They are very thorough and take the time with you to make you feel like they really care. I am very grateful for the care I receive there and have recommended and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you for always helping me and caring for my vision needs. Every time I have gone here they have messed up my direct billing and made me submit the claim. They always use the excuse they didn’t know I had extended coverage and yet the can see on file who my coverage is with. So I’m not sure why I would need to ask every single time to make sure and even when I do confirm they still don’t add it on.

Slow service- up to a month to get an eye exam. If your requirements are sooner than a month wait, it's best to go somewhere else!

After my previous optometrist retired, I was faced to choose a new optometrist - Dr. Tyler Lowey at Kamloops Family Vision Clinic. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Lowey for your eye concerns! Though I have pretty good eyesight, I have been having some issues related to staring at the computer screen all day because of my work. Dr. Lowey had great patience with me, finding solutions to all my nit-picky questions. He has a holistic approach in my eyes (pun intended) as we talked about foods and other physical exercise, such as heart health, that I could be doing to potentially increase the health of my eyes. It was a great visit! :)

After having my first entry into this clinic, I was IMPRESSED beyond words. They got me in quickly for a serious eye problem that manifested itself within two days and it needed examining quickly.I spent over an hour, going from room to room, having different kinds of equipment being used on me, and the care and attention of the Doctor and staff was exceptional. I was treated and examined in such a professional way, that when they gave me my bill, I was DUMBFOUNDED that they charged so little for their services, being that I was an out-of-province visitor. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND these people to EVERYONE I meet!

The whole operation has lost much of its value and integrity since Dr. Pozza retired. Staff treats people with less genuine concern compared to when Dr. Pozza had his hands on the overall operation.
