Amazing!! It doesn’t get better than this! Perfect mountain getaway. Cabins were clean, cozy, and perfect for our mountain trip. Staff was phenomenal and very accommodating. Loved the extra touch of all the Rocky Mountain Soap Co products Would highly recommend Tekarra for your next mountain adventure

(Translated) We spent three nights in the lodge and had booked a lodge room, but this was so small that you could hardly turn around. We could then book a cabin for an extra charge. This was fully equipped with kitchen and two bedrooms and fireplace, but everything is a bit older and worn. The easy access to Jasper (5 minutes drive) is very good. (Original) Wir haben drei Nächte in der Lodge verbracht und hatten einen Lodge Room gebucht, dieser war allerdings so klein, dass man sich kaum umdrehen konnte. Wir konnten dann gegen Aufpreis eine Cabin buchen. Diese war voll ausgestattet mit Küche und zwei Schlafzimmern und Kamin, allerdings ist alles schon etwas älter und abgewohnt. Die gute Anbindung an Jasper (5 Minuten Fahrzeit) ist allerdings sehr gut.

Stayed in the lodge rooms, breakfast was soooo good.

Simply put, this place is not worth the price paid. I stayed in a very small, motel style room above the restaurant - don't be deceived by the pictures which mostly show pictures of spacious cabin rooms! The room only had a queen bed with no other furniture or TV. The WiFi was terribly slow and the room was a long walk from the car because of a yoga class. The bathroom fan was very loud and could not separately be controlled from the light. On the plus side, the location was good, there was a trail that circled around the property with a great view over the river, and there was a ranger talk on the property about the difference between black and grizzly bears.

As a local, here's my spin... My "go to" walks in Jasper National Park, the lodge closes in the winter season but the trail through Tekarra Lodge has a great view of the Athabasca River since it is situated in a beautiful location.
