I have been going her for 30 year George sr was awesome when I was a kid. Now I go see George Jr and it's always great seeing him as well. It's rare now to go to places people know you. I remember the big stairway over the mildam store on main st. I love this place and their service.

I love this place. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. I have been wearing glasses/contacts for nearly 30 years and this was by far the best eye exam I ever had. The doc works here and also at Mass Eye and Ear. He’s awesome...super knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me tips and tricks to help my dry eyes that have been a game changer. He also listened to my concerns about the current contacts I’m wearing and he got me into a new brand which have been great. The store itself has an awesome selection of frames and sunglasses, including for smaller faces like mine. They are a quick turnaround for getting glasses into frames, and they even fixed a pair of my old glasses that had chew marks from my dog. I’m new to the area and am so glad I found Concord Optical! They have a new loyal customer for sure!

Never a problem if we break something on the glasses and when it is time for new ones the staff are easy to work with, efficient and make the whole process a breeze. They are so easy to recommend. One good reason why; It is great to shop local! I have been a customer of Concord Optical in Concord since I began to need glasses, which sad to say has been many years. The last time I visited Concord Optical for new glasses, I purchased an expensive pair. I wore them for a few months but was unhappy with my selection (my own choice), so I returned to find a new pair. George, the owner and an optical specialist at Concord Optical, viewed my history and then looked around the store for a pair of glasses that I’d be happier wearing. “Yes!” I said when I tried them on. “This is what I want.” When I tried to pay for them, George said “No! You’re a long time customer, and I want you to be happy with your glasses - we’ll figure a way to work this out.” There may be many large optical conglomerates in malls nearby, but there is only one George and his staff of professionals.

I showed up 40 weeks pregnant thinking I needed new sunglasses because of the condition of my old ones. They fixed 2 pairs of my old sunglasses and helped me find a new pair too. They are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I contacted them a couple weeks later because my lenses had been destroyed in my new glasses, they helped me with replacements for my new pair.

I have a crazy work schedule but they were able to work me in for an eye exam. As usual my work ran late but they still did my exam and I was able to find new frames. The glasses were ready quickly but because of work I wasn't able to get there. George squeezed me in between other clients. Such a wonderful experience and great service

After many years our optometrist/optician retired and Concord Optical was recommended. We could not be more pleased, even stunned! at the quality of the care and service. My husband came in with a refraction and they made up glasses for him, but then checked it and decided he needed a new one. So also new glasses, but wait for it—no charge for what was a whole new pair. George Jr. my favorite, but all wonderful here. Maybe because it is a family business—so rare these days.
