I'm quite disappointed for the service received, despite the optometrist was kind and knowledgeable: Went for a glass prescription. They quoted over the phone $90 for a consultation and offered to do a retinal scan for $40 more (total $130), but the invoice was for $165 (they charged $35 plus for dilatation drops). The WORST: the prescription they gave is INCOMPLETE for ordering online (it doesn't have the PD value). Called and they told me that they will give me that value ONLY if I order glasses from them. So I asked to talk with the optometrist, who called me a few hours later. She explained me that in QC optometrists don't give the PD measurement, only when they deliver the glasses. I showed frustration as this monopolistic strategy makes more difficult to buy my glasses online. She offered to EXCEPTIONALLY give the measurements, which we got as a complementary. Next time, I will get my prescription in Ottawa hoping they won't come with these inconveniences...

Extremely poor services. All they care about is money
Formerly known as Miosis until summer of 2017, they continue to offer great services and support at prices comparable to the big chain eyewear stores. Though located in the Hull sector of Gatineau, they offer friendly bilingual services. I was there just yesterday and they quickly replaced a missing nose pad with two new ones, for free!

I went for my daughter's appointment and I am so happy with the customer service everything was very good. Excellent service
Got an eye exam, when to another store with my prescription to buy my glasses. After a week of trying to get used to them, I when back to Visique to make sure they were ok. Turns out, the first optometrist put a + instead of - on my prescription... The new optometrist checked my eyes again to make sure they got it right, then they charged me for the consultation... I had to go back to have my lense completely changed....
I had a great experience with Visique: A few days ago, my glasses broke in half. I need them to drive (e.g. for groceries, pharmacy...etc) I called Visique to make an appointment and nothing available until April 20th The Visique staff called me back, Thursday morning to tell me to come into the office that afternoon! The Optometrist was able to fit me in (per a cancellation) AND I was able to choose frames AND the technician was able to install the lenses that afternoon! I said goodbye to my old glasses and drove home with my new glasses! The staff were friendly, helpful, professional, kind and... delightful!!!! So a huge thank you and kudo's to all of you for your wonderful service today! On top of that - everyone was kind to either speak to me in English or to speak slowly in french so that I could understand! :-)

Great quality of service received!
I have been with Visique aka Miosis for many many years at the Aylmer location. The service has always been good. This time I went to the Place Cartier location I purchased over 1600$ of products from them. They said it would be 14 days. It was over a month, this is after I told them that my glasses are broken and I had to wear an old pair with old prescription s. Once they got them I had yo wait another week before I could pick them up. I live 2 hours outside of town, which I explained. I have headaches I need my glasses. They wanted me to wait another week to get them fitted. I went to pick them up as I couldn't wait any longer. Now I still haven't been able to get them fitted and its been over a week. I have sores on the side of my head from the glasses. When I picked the glasses up there were 2 staff just sitting there doing nothing and wouldn't help me. I am very disgusted with these young ladies who could have easily helped but wouldn't!!!!!

En 2018, suite à la recommandation d'une voisine je choisi son optométriste , je fais un examen de la vue chez Visique à la place Cartier à Gatineau. Très bonne optométriste. Pour 1700$, je choisi deux montures, la plus dispendieuse s'agrandissait toujours et me tombait du visage, conséquences, je suis agricultrices, sur le tracteur, elles me tombent du visage et je les perds pour toujours, la deuxième paire se brise, donc en juin 2020 je retourne me faire examiner la vue, ma vue n'avait pas changé. Je commande d'autres lunettes, même chose, les deux paires sont en métal léger et deviennent croches ,je dois retourner les faire réajuster , je dois tenir mes lunettes avec mes doigts pour mettre le foyer à la bonne hauteur pour lire, de loin ça va. Même une fois, un des verres était brisé à l'intérieur des deux couches, on me l'a remplacé sans frais. Conséquence, préférant les lunettes de pharmacie pour la lecture, je délaisse mes lunettes de prescriptions qui m'ont coûté 1500$. Bon je me suis dit que ça n'avait pas de bon sens, ça me prends des bonnes lunettes, je retourne encore une fois chez Visique, le 16 juin 2021,un examen de 90$, ma vue n'a presque pas changé. Ça me prend des lunettes mais avec l'expérience que j'ai eu avec Visique de ne pas vouloir me remplacer mes lunettes par des montures plus résistantes, plus robuste, à contre coeur, je vais malheureusement avec ma nouvelle prescription aller ailleurs pour les montures. Je trouve ça dommage parce que Visique va perdre une cliente plutôt que d'essayer de me satisfaire.
I brought my almost 6 year old son today because he scratched his entire cornea last night after getting sand in his eye and rubbing it. I called around 9:30 and they gave him an appointment at 11:30 as an emergency. Very friendly staff, the doctor was very patient and understanding given the fact that my son was in pain, agitated and scared. Will definitely be going to this location again should we need another visit. Highly recommend.

J'étais tellement insulté, si ont m'avais prévenu de ces frais "accessoires" lors de ma prise de RV, je l'aurais refusé sur le champs. La suite de l'histoire...le jour même, je me suis arrêté à la clinique d'optométrie de Touraine près de chez moi, et j'ai obtenu un RV pour le lundi suivant ( 2 jours ouvrables plus tard). De plus j'ai vérifier auprès de la RAMQ et il est illégal de facturer pour un RV même en urgence. Je ne remettrai plus jamais les pieds dans cette clinique.

Les entrées dans les dossiers sont erronées ou il y a confusion entre les clients ce qui est inquiétant de toutes les façons. Et mes explications n'ont eu aucune importance. Seul l'ordinateur compte même si l'entrée de données est inexacte. Très peu professionnel.
