I booked an appointment online for Tuesday October 13th at 3 pm but when I showed up the store was closed (there was a note on the door stating that they were closed due to thanksgiving weekend and the lights were off). I also tried calling (throughout the day to confirm and the next day) but no one answered.

We have had only great experiences at Glebe Optical. They have a nice variety of frames to choose from and quick service. Tracey is very professional, knowledgable, and wonderful to deal with. I had an issue with the lenses in one of my glasses and they switched them out at no additional charge. I would highly recommend Glebe Optical to anyone.

I love this place soooo much！I got my BEST EYE TEST EXPERIENCE here in my last 24 year. they have free parking area which's important especially due to it's located in bank street. THE front desk and the female optimistic are so nice and professional. Especially the optometrist who's soo patient and understanding my questions. I will come back in the future if indeed. And the service is soo adorable, too.And their online booking system is also smart.

Recently went to Glebe Optical for an eye exam - and I was worried about having to get new glasses (that I can't afford). I looked around a lot of different places to get a good price on the eye exam, and this place had some of the best pricing in the city for a thorough exam, without adding expensive tests that might not be necessary. The doctor I saw (Dr. H. Marriott) was incredibly patient, explained the tests and what she was testing. Even though I was sure I'd need new glasses (again... which I couldn't really afford), she told me my prescription hadn't changed in the two years since I've had my eyes last tested. What did change was how often/when I'd need to wear them, and she took the time to reassure me that my change in vision was normal and my eyesight was actually better than average for my age. I also needed new cases and wanted to get my PD measured in case I decided to order glasses online at some point. The woman in the store who I spoke to about options for getting a new pair of glasses demonstrated such empathy, kindness and understanding of my situation and was able to offer me some options to make the most of my limited budget. I highly recommend this optical store!
