Eye exam went well. Great optometrist. After the exam, the experience was a nightmare. It actually started when the employee assured me that the whole eye exam, including the special scan was covered under my insurance, which it wasn't. First, the gave me an appointment for a trial contact lens. They told me the appointment was for "fitting" or adjusting the trial lense. When I arrived, they informed me that the person who did the "fittings" was not in that day, so I asked why I was there, he called someone and then he changed his mind and informed me that it was for the delivery of the contact, not the fitting. But the employee still performed a vision test. They gave me the trial contact and set another appointment for the fitting. The contact they gave me only corrected astigmatism and Myopia but not Presbyopia (which I never asked for, I asked to try a contact that corrected all three). I got to this appointment, and they confirmed that the trial contact that I had didn't correct what I had asked for, and the employee was confused, telling me that I had asked for the contact that they gave me, and "argued" with me, saying that I did in fact want that.(Like, you're telling me, what I asked for?) She then told me that the contact that I did ask for, had been ordered and asked me if I wanted an appointment to pick that one up. Essentially, the confusion was that the contact that fixed the 3 problems had to be worn with the same brand in the other eye (for eye health, apparently). So why not wait for all the contacts to arrive instead of making me come 4 times. (Or ask me what I would prefer?) There must be something I am missing, because the whole process was confusing and unpleasant. Basically, if you want a confused, unprofessional, staff that argues with you and wastes your time, I would recommend coming here. I am certain that working during COVID is not easy, and I commend the employees that do work during these times, but I would recommend rethinking your process to make it easier for your staff and clients to interact.

Wow, this is my new go-to for glasses ! I have been wearing glasses for almost 40 years and I have been to all kinds of places for a new pair of glasses. Most places greet you with dollar signs in their eyes. NOT this one. I was very impressed with Chicco Optique on Boulevard d'Europe. Good selection of frames at great prices, friendly service from the very first contact for an appointment. I have great glasses, they adjusted them perfectly for comfort. They even gave me a discount right off the bat. I paid 160 $ tax included for my new frames ! Je recommande cet endroit pour plusieurs raisons. C'est le premier endroit qui ne m'attend pas avec des signes de $$. Mais ce que j'ai le plus apprécié c'est le service et le prix bien sûr ! Je n'irai plus aux autres grands-noms qui font des belles publicité avec mon argent :)

Nothing to say about the optometrist exam and lens. But after that of course you’ll need a frame right? I agree that my frame is not a brand new one BUT it’s in a very good condition so why I have to buy a new one? And their arguments are: you can have a good deal for the second frame or sunglasses if you buy the frame and that they are not responsible if ever during lens installation something happens. What about the social responsibility? Environmental protection? The story continues when I went to install the lens and found out “by accident “ that I wasn’t having all the protection options that I asked and have been charged for. At the end I got the lenses that I paid for but what if I hadn’t asked to show me the papers in order to see if everything I paid for was there. As well, the frame widened (after the lens installation)and now and I have the impression that my glasses may have fell down when wearing it but I guess this is “the price and the risk” when you don’t have a brand new frame.

Pretty bad experience here overall. The eye exam went very well but it all fell apart after that. If going for your kids I'd recommend taking them somewhere else. There's hardly any selection for frames for kids. There's maybe 30 kid frames (hundreds for adults)and most are adult style glasses that will look cute but aren't practical. My wife was pushed into two sets of frames and neither fit my kid well at all. These people know what your insurance will pay out and they are excellent at using every penny of that. Now we need to get my son new glasses and we're going to have to pay out of pocket. I'm not watching my 4 year mope around all day because he can't run around without his glasses flying all over.
Very nice place and nice people. I went there and I brought my daughter there. They give you the necessary time without rush and they are very patient and nice with kids. They are not after money and not just looking to get your money like others in the area. Thank you and will definitely be coming back to that place again.
