Ran in to see if they had a part for a pair of glasses the older women working ended up fixing and adjusting my glasses for free and I hadn't even bought them there. I will always recommend this location

The front counter ladies were fantastic. The eye doctor on the other hand I found to be very rude. He should practice explaining properly to the patients what he is would like for them to do. He should also train himself on how to assist those coming in that suffer from anxiety, PTSD and panic. I would stay clear from Hakim Optical on Main Street East if you are suffering from anxiety, panic or PTSD

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. the "Manager" Jeff is so incredibly rude to customers thinking no matter what a customer says they must be wrong. I went to this location out of desperation because I needed glasses quick and long story short is I got what I paid for. CHEAP GARBAGE. I've had the glasses for less the 2 months and they catch so easily even with a micro Fibre cloth like I use. I stupidly bought 2 pairs and both are junk. I was forced to take my glasses to a no name shop when I was out on the road when one of the lenses just fell out because the screws were stripped. I found out from the small shop I took my glasses to the the lenses are in fact crazed but of course when I brought that up to Jeff he denied it and said the were cracked not crazed. This location only looks out for themselves and doesn't care one bit about its customers so if want quality glasses then stay far away from hakim optical. They are junk

Place was great to pick up and buy my glasses. Service was excellent. Arm broke off one pair within the month of getting my glasses and now it has been a week and I most likely will have to go back and pick up my broken glasses and bring them to another Hakim. Not the best service this way. Hence the three stars. But overall through out the years of dealing with Hakim the company has been great, only place I buy my glasses. First "hiccup" I have experienced but with my work schedule and the current "lock down" this is a very inconvenient situation.

I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they were a bit slow and disorganized in getting my glasses made. The glasses themselves are very high quality and the staff were good to help me find the right pair.

Several visits in a row, this store, and this staff have provided excellent service, both friendly and efficient, but my most recent visit just before Christmas provided an experience "above and beyond" any expectations. The gentleman who served me could not get the company software to co-operate regarding a repair, so he gave me the benefit of the doubt and said "Merry Christmas!". I was astounded by his actions, but will certainly return for my next purchase, refer friends to that branch and "pay it forward" by making a donation to CanadianVisionCare to recognise this gentleman and his franchise. Thank-you sir - you (and the other staff) are a great reminder that service is what drives customer loyalty.

Had to go back a couple times for a new glasses I bought. Had to get my eye retested again which had similar specs to old prescription not sure if they made the lenses wrong which it seems.When I get back to pick it up they said I had to pay again because of some mess between them and my health insurance. In addition they gave me a case that doesn't even fit my glasses.

The worst eye doctor ever, very rude. Don't go here. Go somewhere else! The counter girls were nice but never adjusted my glasses when I picked them up, just handed them to me and said goodbye.

Shut Down During Covid is one thing, not answering calls for emergencies is another! My glasses have broke completely and I am out of contacts... Other optical stores are serving customers for emergency situations however cannot help new patients... Where is Hakim to help people in distress? How am I or other people supposed to drive, go get food, do anything when we cannot see.

Lenses would constantly fall out of my glasses until one of them got lost, they want over 200$ to replace. Overpriced for terrible service will not be going back

Did 2 pairs of glasses some 3 months ago. Now the coating of the lenses have started peeling off. ON BOTH PAIRS OF GLASSES!!! At the time I bought it the salesgirl told me that there was a one year warranty on them, if anything happened to them they would cover it. When i brought the glasses there now the conditions have changed - it's only the frames that are on warranty. Maybe i should break the frames???? Bunch of Thieves.

Very unsatisfactory. I bought a very expensive pair of glasses at main street location over a year ago. There is a visibly defect now in the coating which makes the lenses cloudy. Yes, it's beyond warranty, but it would have cost him next to nothing to fix problem and retain a customer. Sad that customer service and quality are not practiced.
