Charlotte and Spencer have amazing service. Charlotte couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable and did everything she could to make sure we were happy. Spencer was very friendly and knowledge and didn't rush us at all, very patient man. Dr. Nadine Solaka was very good, took time to explain things and was very warm and friendly, good sense of humor.

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses here and they arrived on time and are great. I particularly liked how they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. They even suggested I buy an extra pair for distance which I had not planned to but I'm so glad I took their advice, I love them.

From the first moment I walked through the door, my shopping experience was amazing! The staff were attentive, friendly and most of all honest. I had a particular frame in mind and a price they needed to be. The staff patiently went through each frame until I found the right pair of glasses that met both requirements. They actually made shopping for glasses really fun and stress free. I would definitely be going back there for my next pair!

I booked an appointment here with their staff many times in the past. Due to unfortunate/urgent events, I haven’t been able to make them and forgot to reschedule. Now that I’m more available and free, I booked another appointment and they denied to see me because I didn’t show up to my past ones due to personal reasons. Terrible service.

I was there to inquire - only inquire. She was talking to me and helping me and answering all my questions until somebody she knew came inside. She immediately turned her back to me and faced the other people even when I was in mid-sentence. I waited a few seconds to see if she was going back to me and end our conversation. Totally ignored me. That was very rude! She lost a prospective customer in me. Just in my household alone, we get 6 new prescription glasses every 2 years. That is why that new store is always empty.

Charlotte, who I'm assuming is one of the managers at the store is AMAZING! I recently lost my glasses and was in sort of a crisis situation as I couldn't see. She made the entire process painless; from choosing the perfect pair, to checkout, and finally, ensuring they would be ready for the next business day. I'm a long time client of Hakim's. I purchase all my prescription glasses here. The staff is warm and friendly. Always make you welcome. Definitely not pushy. Frame selection is awesome and not just your common everyday variety. Lots of fun and funky styles. Charlotte is the best!! Knowledgeable, great sense of humour and above all, won't recommend a frame style that doesn't suit you. Neary has repaired some glasses for me while I waited. Can't say enough positive things about the staff and service there.

We’re great at listening to what I wanted as well as giving suggestions. Prices were great as well! The Gentleman that helped me was very patient with me as I sat in the store for some time trying to decide which pair I liked best! The store itself has a great selection as well! Will definitely return here next time I need glasses!

The optometrist was extremely friendly and knew exactly how to care for her patients. Mind you this isn't her main location, (she was covering for the main doctor there - her practice is actually in Mississauga), but she still took utmost care in making sure I was looked after. Mind you the customer service staff for finding glasses were attrocious. They were on us like white on rice and one was very pushy. Spencer was soft spoken but meant well whereas Maddy was very quick and to the point looking to make a sale. She had gotten us a decent price with the buy one and get another 50% off and then when we inquired about Saturday, October the 21st sale she said that there would be an additional 60% off! We were ecstatic and returned promptly on Saturday to make the purchase. Just to find Maddy there again but this time telling us she had never said any such thing. I get it was a communication issue, but instead of admitting that she had made a mistake of telling us that she decided to push us to admit we were wrong when we were clearly told one thing but then were given a second a day later. She also has very poor selling techniques. She honestly shouldn't be to abbrassive with her customers and try to not be so forceful in getting them to spend spend spend because it will drive away customers. I will never recommend to purchase glasses there but I do suggest you check out the optometrist who was working Wednesday, October the 18th. She was splendid

Excellent service - again, Charlotte (Mgr), Rowan, and Spencer have gone above and beyond and helped me out in a big way with my prescription sunglasses (originally purchased during a sale at Hakim Optical Stone Road Mall in 2017). The service I received at my initial visit in 2017 was fantastic, and all subsequent visits have been equally enjoyable. Highly recommended - 5 stars. :-)

Our whole family has been Hakim clients in Guelph for over 20 years. Recently, my wife and I dropped in to get our glasses adjusted. Neary, who helped us when we purchased the glasses, went out of her way to not only adjust both our glasses, but changed the nose pads - and thoroughly cleaned them while we waited. Other staff who we've known for years came out to chat with us, asking about our family. We have always been impressed by their service and friendliness and today was just another remarkable example of great customer service.

I came into the store on Tuesday to shop and the manager there was terrible and very disrespectful the energy was horrible and I will never be back again nor will I recommend anyone to go there. This location definitely needs some work on there management. I hate the way she spoke to me, and especially HER staff? That manager should be fired or you’re staff deserve a raise for putting up with her disgusting attitude that she claims is customer service!

Hi, I had a very positive experience with the staff at Hakim at Stone Road Mall. Charlotte was absolutely great in figuring out how to handle my complicated prescription. In the process she discovered an error made previously by a different optician at a different store. She contacted my optometrist and matters were resolved. I recommend obtaining eye glasses from this location as the staff were very professional and helpful.

Customer service was friendly and knowledgable. What totally wowed me was my friend brought her prescription in and purchased glasses. She brought them home but felt something wasn't right. We returned to the store and quickly learned that the Optometrist wrote down the wrong prescription in error. Hakim quickly contacted the Optometrist to discover this and without any issue or cost they remade the glasses. We were so impressed with the staff and service I am going back today to purchase my own glasses

The staff were excellent and I'd 100% return! They were friendly, not pushy at all and let us shop without hovering around us. Although at first glance it may look like there aren't a lot of glasses to choose from, their drawers are FULL of every shape, size and colour you could possibly ever need. Spent a good hour going through them all! Their prices are great and turnaround time for glasses is excellent (next-day if they have the lenses in stock, pending prescription of course).
