I will not ever go bk to the vision center in GP. Omg I asked them if they could adjust my glasses n they said since I didn't buy them from Walmart answer was NO unless I was willing to pay for the adjustment. I informed them that very piss poor business practice n the Walmart in Medicine Hat AB was more then willing to adjust them for Free as they have done n hat before for people.

Iv purchased 2 sets of glasses from this location and I'll keep doing so because they are great :) for example I recently went in for an adjustment (frame arm length) and they happily made my Glasses fit perfectly :) in the past as well they have gone over and above so thank you :)

I only gave this one star because I didn’t have the option of giving it no stars. The staff here are unfriendly, uneducated and I have yet to get back glasses that have been done right. After a major blunder on my child’s glasses there was no apology and a LOT of excuses and that was after waiting 3 weeks for them to begin with. I was told I couldn’t pick them up without an Optometrist to check them and fit them (reasonable) and then they didn’t check them or fit them they just handed them to me. This place is seriously a joke!! I don’t take negative reviews lightly and I am far more prone to give a positive review than a negative one, but with service like this we could use one less optical place in the city.

I went here for an eye exam. In and out. Prescription in hand. Checked out glasses and staff was fairly friendly. Chose a pair and am currently awaiting my new pair. Will review again once I receive them. If there were problems with staff before they've either changed staff or revamped the way they treat clients. ????‍♀️

Been to other vision places in GP, and they are so expensive. Walmart has good prices, nice frames, and good service. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Karen. Her having to commute for the appointments, makes it a little more tricky to get a desirable appointment time/date - but I'll wait. She's excellent. She's been my optometrist since 2006-ish.

I purchased a pair of glasses from the Walmart Vision Centre. Every single time I have gone in to request an adjustment there is only a "sales rep" who can tighten the screws but not adjust the arms with the heat machine. My glasses constantly fall off my face and each time I have gone in to have them tightened there is no one to help. Because they constantly fall off my face, they are now scratched . Bad costomer service. The price was not that much cheaper then going else where, and atleast else where there is always someone who can make the proper adjustments.

I highly recommend Walmart's optical centre. I broke my glasses Friday night, and couldn't get a voucher from ODSP until late Monday. So I've been wearing my glasses without the arm trying to balance them on my face ????, resulting in a pounding headache since Saturday. So I went to Walmart and picked out new frames tonight, and the salesperson says, hold on (I'm sure she pitied my situation). She grabbed a pair of new frames, same as mine, off the display wall and popped out my lenses and put them in the new frames. $18.00 of absolute bliss on my end and new ones on their way in about 2 weeks!

Booked an appointment for getting our eyes checked. The eye doctor on site was NOT friendly or even personable. Basically in & out with a prescription that is unreadable by any eye glass place in the area. Tried to look at frames and the staff was rude, didn't seem to care of we purchased our glasses there or not. Would not recommend this place to anyone for vision care, in fact will be taking my complaint even further. Why hire staff that isn't personable or even friendly? Or does Wal-Mart even care with the billions they make?

Great service and good selection of frames Only one complaint, I had to have an adjustment So before I drove back into town which is 45 minutes away I decided to check to make sure the optical store was open and the website says Thurs and Fri open 9 to 9 I arrived Friday at 513 and store was closed If you change your hours of operations please change your webpage Wasted trip!

The new manager optician here is amazing, she helped me with my old broken glasses that I purchased somewhere else and even booked me an eye exam so I was able to get new glasses from her within a couple weeks. Definitely recommend.

This place is a waste of time. First of all I go in and pick out 2 pairs of glasses for my daughter, that’s all great. Then they tell me I can pay the difference of what my insurance covers and the actual cost when I pick up the glasses... nope. They called me over a week later and said I have to pay before they can order ok, I can handle that. I go in to pay and there is a customer in front of me when he is finished she says I have to go to the bathroom I will be back and I told her I wanted to pay she says give me 5 mins so I say fine I will go grab a few things and come back... I go back 10 mins later and she is closing. I ask if I can pay and she says no cuz it takes over an hour to process and even if she served me the first time there wouldn’t be enough time. I’m furious!!! I live out of town and went there to specifically pay and she screwed me around. Why not tell me that when I was there 10 mins ago! Honestly if u don’t wanna sell anything get a new job! Never will I deal with this place again! She clearly doesn’t know her job to keep giving misinformation. Go else where, don’t waste your time here.
