They used to have a wonderful international section. Now the shelves are filled with vegetable oil, Sriracha sauce, a few snacks and not much else. Our trip to the produce section for celery resulted in the most appalling, mingy, broken dog ends of celery we have ever seen. We won't be back. We were able to find raw kombucha so 1 star.

Great prices as always but customer service has always been lacking. Items are often out of stock and it is almost impossible to find someone if you need help to locate an item. The produce selection is also rather poor. However the pharmacy here is fantastic as is the selection of more ethical choices of meats as opposed to other locations I have been to.

The store is always dirty and smells really bad. I bought a pair of jeans there and never again. They have a very strong musty smell that will not come out. I couldn't notice the smell in the store, my scent must have been use to the stentch of the store.

I find the store has really good prices but it lacks in customer service. However, none of the staff have been rude just ignore you. The one thing I do hate is the homeless people that ask for money outside in the parking lot. I have felt scared in the evenings and am glad they have security in the parking lot.

Very tired looking building inside and out. Always seems to be very busy and there are some good values to be had if you pay attention to flyers. The person at the checkout was very friendly and rang us through quickly. We don't shop here often, but when we do we pretty much always find what we want at a decent price. If you're into collecting points, don't forget your PC Optimum card.

My favorite place to buy groceries for years, but unfortunately I have to prepare for the parking lot every time I go. I like to go later in the evening because it's less busy, but the homeless are out of control. I am approached by strung out homeless men every time I go. I will load groceries into my vehicle, turn around and they are right in my face. I am not afraid of them in the slightest but other woman that go, especially with young children should be concerned. The security at this place needs to change. When I was there last week there where were a bunch of them sitting inside by the carts harassing everyone in the store.. completely unacceptable. We should feel safe going to get groceries. I understand the store is in a bad location near the injection site, but security needs to step it up.

After having a Turkey Roll go bad, I decided to go to the Superstore to buy the Roast chicken,meal deal. So, 1 toasted chicken, 2 salads,and dinner rolls. After telling the cashier 3 times, it was the meal deal, it was still rung in separately. The receipt looked wrong so I went to customer service. The first thing the lady at customer service said was, well it's very little difference money back. So, my question is, why are the tills ringing in this Roast chicken meal deal Separately?It looks suspicious to the customer, who then has to go to customer service and get them to ring it up on a hand calculator. The lady was snippy on top of it. It's Thanksgiving Day. I didnt need this when I had already heard of two other issues this weekend that were not good. I have basically avoided this store for months because the last time I was there , an older man ran into the back of my car with a cart. We were backing out, so I guess he didn't see us. I'm glad he didn't get hurt .My car still has a paint scratch from the cart. The atmosphere in this particular store has gone from negative to very negative. So, I still get gas at the pumps, but I'm seriouly, thinking it's time to get groceries at another grocery store . It's just not worth going here anymore.

The other day I was in Superstore and had to get change so that I could get a cart. An employee was able to unlock the cart for me so I didn't have to get change. The same day the cashier was wiping down her station and she had such enthusiasm. I knew she was taking my safety seriously. I left the store knowing I met two great people there.

The in store shopping is great, but the online shopping with pickup option is impossible to get onto or setup. I spent an hour online and still can't get on account to work. They really need an APP for this.

I always shop at super store, it’s clean and the staff are always helpful and nice! Although like in every store in town, you should cheat the fruits and vegetables before to see they are not old. Through PC you can get lots of discounts (and actually redeem points!) most of the time if you buy over 250$ you get really great quality free gifts! At the location you can find free parking lot. Make sure to bring loonie for the cart.

Produce are always fresh and new. Check the flyers for some good deals if you must before shopping and you will get a lot of bang for your buck. Some of the products here (other than food) are overpriced and a rip-off. I bought a towel hanger here for $19. Went to Dollorama found same exact item for $4. Also, I bought a bath rug here for $20. Went to Costco and found the same item for $12. Therefore, I will only do my grocery here other than that I will be buying elsewhere.

Went here today, May 11, 2020 and directed to Cashier #2 i think his name is Ammar, he wasn’t paying attention to what he is doing keep looking somewhere and just dropping our vegetables w/out care so we told him to be careful and also wasn’t even listening when we told him we want to use our points earned and we thought he heard it so we just tap our card to pay and just found out he didn’t use the points so we ask him why and he told us”ohh i didnnt hear and didn’t care just go to the customer care and just redo it there! My husband went to customer service to pick up a Flashfood order for me as I was unable to go to the store; despite having my phone and the Flashfood app as proof of purchase he was still given a hard time by customer service rep Veronica. When she finally deigned to collect the food we had paid for, our items were missing from the Flashfood fridge. Rather than apologize for the inconvenience, she accused my husband of having picked up the items previously and trying to scam them! She said "that's been happening a lot lately" (maybe lock your Flashfood fridge like every other location, that might be a good start!). She went to get replacements off the shelf, brought the wrong items and when this was pointed out to her she snapped and said she knows they're the wrong items, shrugged and walked away.

Bathrooms are often not clean, smelly, and with functioning equipment (sink, or urinal, or toilet, or hand dryer). Cashiers will talk amongst them selfs instead of customers, about what they'll do after work, or about the previous day, etc. either overtop of or behind them. I know they want to move costumers along as fast as they can, but when I bag up my groceries it'd be nice not to have my fruit and bread crushed against the end of the belt and other groceries.

get your on sale swimwear for Liard hot springs, stock up on Canadian exclusive chips and cadbury candy, get some jerky and five hour energy for the road at a decent price. Parking lot big enough to turn a truck and trailer around in and easy to get in and out of, with the far out parking spaces usually empty enough so you can park like schmuck and take a bunch of spaces. Ketchup and all dressed chips, Mr. big bars, and maple cookies loaded into the truck and you're on your way.

This is a good store, just usually always busy. The biggest issue is usually when it's packed they do not open all available checkouts, which I am unsure is a staffing issue or what. However, the items in this store are good, and the isles are wide and usually fully stocked. You can find a lot of good deals here if you watch for flyer items.

In my opinion this is the best superstore in the city. It has a great layout and selection even though it is smaller then the other two. It also has the best staff. My only issue is the parking here the stalls in the parking lot were painted too small and parking is tight and often hard to do as many people park over the lines leave spots that no one can fit into.

Great prices! This location still has a new and clean vibe. The carts are in excellent condition. Excellent gluten free selection. Overall well rounded in selection of most household items. As a family with children I find the toy selection could use some help. Wouldn't waste your time with the toy isle. For pricing and selection I give four stars out of five.

Great staff. I love the selection even though there are a few things I couldn't find. Lately, however, putting a deposit down on the cart has added unneeded time and stress to my shopping trip. When I go with three young kids fishing for change while keeping them contained is not fun. If I send my husband he doesn't get everything we need because quite frankly we use credit cards for everything these days and don't carry the $1 deposit. Please rethink this system ... or I'll have to shop elsewhere.

Almost every single item I bought was either moldy or just a plain disgrace. The cream I bought for my coffee was not expired but came out chunky ! The milk I bought was the same. The bread I bought was actually damp and moldy ???? I bought a Case of Pepsi and it was moldy and one of the Pepsi cans inside of it was leaking everywhere. Please go somewhere else this place does not take care of there products properly!!!

This location (Sherwood Park) does a great job of fulfilling their click and collect orders. Very rarely have I had improper or no substitutions. It varies by the shopper's judgement. Very efficient service. From arrival to the groceries in your vehicle is usually less than 10 minutes. Produce mostly picked fresh (bagged apples are not great). Friendly staff.

I'm not sure what is happening latetly with the click and collect (online order). Ive been using this for about a year, but recently the service has not been great! When you pick a time slot the order should be ready at that time. I called and said that I was here for my pickup and they told me it's not ready to come back when it was. Customer service very lacking. Went today and my cashier was a lady called Dhara(spelling?). The customers ahead of me were her friends and she spent way too much time with them. They held up the line because the cashier wanted to ring in her friends items at a cheaper price. The customer went to go grab more items while the line had to wait for her to come back. Cashier didn't even try to explain to us why the line was held up for 10 minutes. When it was our time to be serviced another employee jumped the line to get serviced first ahead of the customers in line. After that employee was finished buying her chocolate bar it was finally our turn. Cashier didn't even greet us, smile at us, ask us if we wanted bags or ask for our points card. Worst service ever.

My mom and I have been shopping here since we moved to New Sudbury (from the Valley). They have a great layout, great service and are very organized. Unlike many grocery stores in Sudbury, they have tons of plant-based/vegan options in the health section which is awesome. I've been ordering online during COVID and their website (PC Express I think) is user friendly and pick-up is never more than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend them!

Truly a great and fitting name "superstore"...this place has everything and even has tons of allergy friendly options that are priced extremely well and even cheaper than Southeast Alaska. There are also great pre-made options to eat, including a great garbanzo bean salad. Needless to say went here quiet a bit and didn't even get to try the local restaurants.

I m from Edmonton and i was passing from sherwood park . I felt I need fuel for my car . So I searched superstore gas bar , because they are very good in my city, in my phone it was showing domo, petro Canada , huskey , and fas gas too . But I choose super store gas bar . AND first time in my life I felt really a bad experience with in CANADIAN super store GAS BAR . The sales man was on mobile phone ( from when I parked my car In front of gas pump ) . Good prices overall, the store is almost busy so I use the grocery pickup app when I can. The staff are courteous and helpful. The pc brand has really upped their game in the last several years. More often than not I've found the pc brand to be on par or better than the name brand products. The pc express grocery pickup app works well I've only had a handful of issues with order mix up and once they patch the app they don't usually occur again. The reason for my low rating is for the management ending the so called "hero pay" for the Frontline grocery workers. We are far from out of this covid19 mess. The average worker deserves better compensation for putting themselves at risk.

A lot of shelves were empty, there was dirt and filth all over the floors, the bulk foods dept have no cards to mark price or item number and staff didn't know where to find item cards. We normally shop Superstore in Vernon, BC and we are very pleased with the Vernon store. Our experience with the Whitehorse store tells us to never return to Superstore.

I left the point system and in fact you actually get groceries free. I have to say anything I would prefer if they keep their bathrooms clean in this day and age I would prefer that they have someone monitoring bathrooms at all times with drugs on the streets and all kinds of bad things going on I feel the diseases and safety of the public is essential for your business. I was pleasantly surprised that Whitehorse had a RCS. I was very happy that the prices were the same or comparable to Toronto. The store is huge with an excellent selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. Aside from groceries, I bought an outdoor vest which was on sale. Interestingly enough I couldn't find it In the Greater Toronto Area. Go figure. If you're heading up north of Whitehorse it's a good idea (read - GREAT IDEA) to stock up on groceries. The prices can be very high up there.

This review is specifically about the Red Deer Superstore click and collect. I've used it about a dozen times and decided to no longer shop at Superstore because of it. Each order was wrong. Substitutions were nonsensical - a bag of the same brand cat food when I ordered dog food. I ordered two of an item and got only one - for seven of the items in my last order. After unchecking substitutions for each order item things were still wrong. A container of cream cheese came in the wrong flavour and packaging damaged - had to be thrown out unused. The last time I used their service I got literally half what I ordered. I expect better when I order and pay a day ahead with Superstore. I'll be giving Sobeys North my business. The prices are not hugely different and they are never out of items I use.

The shopping baskets are not high quality however and I’ve broken 2 in my visits, which makes for embarrassing and awkward grocery trips. The shelves are sometimes empty of items. Never had any issues with customer service or service in general. Only complaint would be poor produce and sometimes small meat selection. Safeway seems to always have better produce and meats and I’m willing to pay the extra for that. Superstore will remain the main shopping location as it is near my house.

My favorite grocery store with one unfortunate exception. I went to the Express checkout (15 items or less) to discover a customer ahead of me with a full shopping cart, of at least 50 items. After several delays for price-checks and such, he was on his grinning way after about 10 minutes, by which time the line had grown to 6-8 customers. I asked the cashier why she allowed this to happen, since the purpose of the Express line was to save time. She said she wasn't allowed to direct customers to the regular checkouts. I regret not making a complaint at Customer Service at the time.

The big thing that make this place loose points in my book are the price accuracy. Sure, there's no BR or H&M but there is the entire line of Joe Fresh to keep you modest and stylish. So this is for the clinic that is located in the superstore, today I brought my 9 yr old daughter there just before 9 am, at 11 a young woman with a 2 yr old walked out from the back with a face full of anger as she did her best to kindly inform the rest of us patients waiting that the doctor had not seen, no one could find him and she was going to a different clinic. Superstore has been my go to store for more than 10 years, despite what I consider short comings I still choose to shop here. Over all it's pretty good. Negatives: I dont find some produce consistantly well stocked, which can also happen if I shop late in the evening, but not every time. Some or maybe just one "manager" of some sort ive had the unfortunate task of interacting with 2-3 times over the years has always been less than pleasant. Thankfully it's been few and far between Its sooo very hard to find staff members around the store gosh darn it. You have a question in any area and you need to go half a mile to find just one employee who probably isnt "in that department" your questioning so they either try to help best they can or have to find someone else. Positives: Its clean, I find clothing, food and household things here for great prices and If I feel like it, I can price match. I'll continued shopping here

I used to love this store but for the last 2 years or so everytime I go I remind myself to never go back again. The experience is always an extreme frustration. Items never in the same place, spaced out in ways that don't make sense. Moldy fruit and veggies. And gawd forbid if you forget to bring a darn loonie for the shopping carts they try to sell you a token (at a cost) to use instead of giving you change. I go to the cashiers instead of self checkout to try to maintain the need for actual payed employees, but being required to bag my own groceries I might as well do the self check out, all while paying for bags that split open before you get to your vehicle. Disappointed that my once favourite grocery store has become a place to avoid at all cost for me.

This busy location in St. James boasts a well stocked range of fruits & veggies, in-store baked goods, fish & deli counter, meat and dairy areas. There is a large selection of organic products and a very large international foods area covering many ethnic groups. As a one-stop shopping store is complemented by a pharmacy, Liquor Mart, photo studio etc. Checkout is reasonably quick and staff are helpful in this busy environment. Pricing is average with many advertised specials. A good choice for weekly shopping!

I find it outrageous that this place had a hep a issue for a SECOND TIME with a personal working at the deli and that customers who bought meats and cheeses could of been at risk of getting sick. You would think that after the first one you would of asked these questions or taken more precaution to bring in someone else with better screening. Reasonably priced, well stocked and organized. They are always expanding their ethnic section and we appreciate that. Lots of boxed ethnic spices and whole spices in the international aisle. There's also a good variety of brands (PC jarred sauces as well as imported spices like Shan). There's a decent section for halal meat - not as big as the regular section but you'll find your staples like whole chicken, minced beef and chicken, lamb chops, shoulder, stew meat, sausages. Home section and Joe Fresh is pretty good and there's always clearances. Good to have pharmacy in there to pick up prescription along with groceries. Staff is helpful overall????

I must admit that I have never been so disappointed in the customer service of a store. We had bought a product that had missing pieces. The box was commercially sealed and not damaged, but pretinent pieces were missing!! The customer service was awful in order to get the pieces. We live out of town so we have to drive into town repeatedly to get pieces because this product was incomplete. In addition to missing pieces, we had call before hand to ensure they had them and we were hung up on SIX DIFFERENT TIMES!!! The people on the phone did not understand what we were looking for which is frustrating. To top it off, we still haven't gotten the parts and the product is unusable without these parts. Maybe grocery stores should stick to groceries instead of other products. I will not buy similar products for Superstore ever again.

I needed to quickly pick up some food for a potluck at work and they saved me! They are the only grocery store in the area that is open early, and the staff is very helpful! One of the members in the bakery went out of her way to look for m&m cookies. Although they unfortunately were out of those cookies, the staff member still smiled at me and acted interested in helping me and helped start my day off in a good way! The store was clean and everything was easy to find. I would definately recommend this location to anybody in the area!

Ideally not where I shop. The store is wayyyyyyy too big and too many sales. Superstore puts out the best flyer sales bringing in lots of buyers. I always find the vegetables seem to be picked over and the clearance fruits and vegetables are always almost spoiled and the shelves are sometimes bare for sale items. I also find it frustrating to have to bag my own groceries.... Ergonomiclly and most effectively it would be put in bags as scanned - rather a minimum waged employee can no longer bag groceries?! It would save on time and get customers out faster. And my next pet peeve: Why do they always ask how many bags I want?! I want as many as my groceries need. Put the groceries in the bag and I will pay for what I need.

I like the selection of unique products here. The President's Choice brand comes up with innovative range of products. The store has a good collection of international products and plant based products too. The bulk section has some nice items too. I strolled the Joe Fresh area too and found some good apparel on clearance. Store's clean and well maintained and staff are helpful too. And earning PC Optimum points is always an added bonus!

There's a section l for household items such as sheets, dishes, bakeware, toys and more. The Joe Fresh section is extensive! I love superstore to get munchies at as well as make up... Not to mention there is a liquor store attached and it's one of the cheapest places to buy cigarettes, and they have a store inside where you can purchase tobacco products so you don't have to go to their gas station across the parking lot. They have good prices on pretty well everything and have bulk bins which I like to get candy and trail mix from. Their house brand presidents choice is really good, sometimes better than any of the other brands and it's cheaper..... It's really busy and you have to bag your own stuff but oh well it's worth it. I like to use self check out as well. They are good with returns and I could spend a couple hours Everytime I go, just shopping around lol cause it's huge :) always get more than what I went for but at their prices it doesn't hurt the budget.

Great store. It's very large with a lot of selection. Good international foods isle. Some products come in larger quantities as well, so some bulk items available. Prices are on level with other independent grocers, with the bulk items being cheaper per unit. It's $1 deposit for the cart. You get it back when you return it. Try the chicken wings from the Meals to Go. They're crispy and delicious.

Mixed feelings about this place. It used to be for bargain shopping but I feel the price margin has leveled out. I hate this store. You have to pay to get a cart. Carts are only outside. They don't provide bags or bag your groceries. They also check another person out while you are still bagging and their prices aren't any better than other stores that provide better services. If I were to compare this Superstore to other Superstores this one would have received a dismal rating. They are constantly out of stock, especially when it comes to produce. Additionally this location is constantly understaffed at the checkout leading me to use self checkout as my principal method of purchasing. The reason it garners three stars is how it compares to other supermarkets. Very competitive prices and very accessible operating hours make it a convenient and affordable stop for grocery needs.

Superstore used to be our preferred store for food shopping but more and more we are buying less and less there. Biggest problem is the stock. Many times things you are looking for are just not on the shelf. If you are lucky enough to find some help on the floor most times you are told that the item isn't in stock or "maybe tomorrow". That means it's in a box in the back and the night staff will replenish it. That's not a lot of help when you have a 45 minute drive to the store. And the best advice I can give is to avoid the Optical Dept. entirely. I made the mistake of getting glasses there and they are totally useless. It took 2 months to get them and they still aren't right . I'm tired of dealing with them. don't say I didn't warn you.

They have almost all groceries but I'm not using them nowadays. Walmart offers free in-store pick up online free of charge whereas superstore charges a fees. I feel Walmart easier than Superstore for free online pickup. I wish superstore also shall offer pickup free of charge.

I just don't like Superstore, so take this review for what it's worth. It's too big, and too baffling. Maybe I am getting too old. Wants to be a Safeway and Walmart in one. Never had a good experience at ANY Superstore.

Best selection and typically lowest prices for groceries in Whitehorse. Staff are usually good and helpful and services offered by the store seem to be high quality.

They recently started this FlashFood app which is awesome. Curbing food waste is great for the environment and it takes out the hassle of ensuring the clerk reduces the price. I am going to try out their shopping online option as well, but I will always shop for my own produce and meats.

This is my regular go to grocery store. They have great prices, and for the most part the produce is okay. Just have to watch. I like the selection and as someone who likes to cook, I like the variety. I like that is is also almost a one stop shop. If I need kitchen supplies, or things for the home, it is usually there. The cashiers are pretty friendly, never had someone who was rude or unfriendly so that's nice.

Only 2 tills open, 1 Express lane has the sign saying "next line" so she can go on break or leave and the other Express has their light on and the cashier says "oh, its broken, I forgot to turn the light off". While standing in the other line, her supervisor tells her to go to the till to put people through.

There is lots of parking here. The parking lot is massive, and even at the busiest times we have found a place to park. They seem to stay on top of the carts keeping them rotated at least out in the parking lot. Many times we have been there the carts by the door are all gone, but this is not too big of a deal since there are a few stalls with carts in the lot. Prices are good compared to a lot of other grocery stores. Produce is usually good and fresh. The cash register lineup has been improved. The one thing I notice is that their entry/exit area always seems to look rundown.

Best place to get those small grocery items that you need. The store closes late (11pm) so if you miss one or two items in your list, its easy to ran back and get it here. Lots of items to choose from and they offer a variety of oriental/asian foods! Good place for regular grocery shopping.

Parking lot was nice and clean the store was clean the carts were good prices were ok the staff was real friendly and helpful with the points card. The only problem was they did not have any premade in store salads to go. Not a big problem but would of been nice to of had one from there to take home.

It used to be the best place to do our groceries few months back but in last few month they are not stocking their shelves adequately at Golden Miles superstore. We gave them our feedback few months back but no improvement. The worst part is that they push products through PC optimum which are not available in the store. Not sure if their AI is properly working.

Product is pretty good to an extent. Produce is something that you need to keep an eye out for considering on weekends most of it is already going bad. Although the staff could be better. They are rude and brush off any questions that you have. Suppose that's the reason self check out is there. Lol.
