DELL COMPUTER ISSUES - I don’t recommend anyone take their computer to be repaired at London Drugs if you are running a Dell system. I brought my computer tower to them for a power supply swap, and it took over a month to get a hold of their Dell contact, order the power supply, and get it installed. They said it was an issue with their contact at Dell, which is likely the case, but I realized quickly after calling around, that other places in GP could repair it in a couple days. I also had to do my own follow up along the way. I had to continually call and ask for updates on my unit.

Great selection and usually will have anything you need. The girls in the makeup department typically totally ignore you OR follow you around like your stealing. Not stealing peeps, sometimes when your on a budget you have to go back and fourth a few times to decide what’s going to work best and not break the bank ! The pharmacy is very helpful as well as the front check outs. I like the option of a human and a self checkout both being available.

Went in with a girlfriend with intentions of purchasing multiple electronic items all the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. spent a couple thousand dollars but was in and out of London drugs within an hour and a half period of time. Ended up leaving with two laptops two webcams two wireless mice one Canon printer one cell phone with plan and a makeup mirror from The beauty department. Thank you so much for all the help and for taking in all specifics into consideration when choosing the best product for each of us. Neither of us enjoy shopping in general and is usually painful process but going into London drugs made things easy as pie. I will definitely be going back to purchase any electronics in the future thanks to my girlfriend who demanded that we go to London drugs to purchase any electronics that was on our wish list.

I was extremely pleased by the patience and the customer service provided by one of the manager at this location. It was quite busy but still Ashrey tried his best explaining to us about all the phone options we had. My mother is old and wanted something which is easy to use, he was being very patient listening to what we wanted and guided us with the phone which matched pretty well to our needs. I usually shop at this store and all the staff is extremely helpful and kind. All the measures for COVID are in place. I would definitely recommend this store to all and 5 stars to the service provided by Ashrey even during these depressed times.

I was there to develop a 35mm film roll. One employee interrupted my conversation with another one saying "I got this." Sharp. It seemed he was in a rush because he managed to do everything in seconds. It shouldn't be something bad, right? But my roll did not come cut as we agreed. Anyways, I don't intend to come back... on top of this, the price charged for a develop only is really high over there compared to another famous lab.

0 stars for the Pharmacy here... They seem to have a lot of people behind the counter at the Pharmacy but they can't seem to keep track of their records and they never seem to have my prescription ready even when I CALL AHEAD OF TIME. Today my husband went in to pick up my prescription for me and they told him I need to get another prescription in order to get my refill. I DO NOT. My prescription is for a 90 day supply. The last time they only gave me 30 days, and on my receipt it clearly states there's 60 days supply remaining to be dispensed to me. There are two transactions this pharmacy billed to my insurance and they got their money x2 but they won't give me my prescription?!?

Good variety of stuff. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable; especially some of the staff in the electronics section. Cashiers are quick and friendly, as well, but I would like it if more than two tills were open during busier times, since I don't feel like waiting in line for several minutes when I'm in a hurry. Overall, the store is clean and neat, there is good variety, the staff are great, and the stuff is decently priced.

The regular employee in cosmetics is great but today (Saturday) the person working was the opposite. I approached her asking if they carried a line of skin care...the answer was,”no”. She didn’t offer to help me find anything or ask me if I was looking for something specific, just NO. I had my mascara in hand but walked over to grab hairspray and a hand soap. Went back to cosmetics to pay but she never came to the till. One woman behind me in line lost her patience and went to the main check out and after waiting even longer I also decided to go to the main check out. A TOTAL lack of customer service. Then the man at the check out couldn’t keep his fingers out of his mouth! And then handled my piurchases with his dirty fingers! I am DISGUSTED with the lack of customer service here today!

I called to see if they had a screen protector for a huawei p20 pro. The guy said they had one and put it on reserve for me. When I went to the store I said I'm the guy who called for a huawei p20 pro and he gave me it. I bought the case without looking too hard at the product, assuming he did in fact get me one for the P20 pro. I definitely should have checked if it was for the pro and not the regular model, but still he got me the wrong one and it doesn't fit my phone

Great experience with the photo lab here! Incredibly quick and professional, easy to work with, and provide great results. Experience was smooth and seamless for me, everything worked great. Highly recommend for your printing needs! I'm sure it's not always possible, but they had one of my orders printed and ready for pickup in around 10 minutes! Absolutely phenomenal. Great job!

Made a photo order online yesterday, and still had no confirmation of completion over 24 hours later. Tried to call for details... over 30 minutes on the phone before someone answered. Then another 15 minutes to figure out my order and that it hadn't even been started. Cancelled and reordered at 8th St location, who had it done and ready for pick up in less than 20 minutes. Never trying to order here again.

My mother has been a regular at this London Drugs for over twenty years. This last week she was treated rudely by some staff members and when my mother asked to speak to a manager, she was promptly dismissed by staff and told that they would not accommodate her request. Absolutely disappointed to hear that this happened and that the staff felt so emboldened to be so unprofessional and unaccommodating. Hugely disappointed.

London drugs is a great store generally but today I called to see if a specific coffee brand was sold there in the store. It wasn’t on the shelf in two locations but the website says they sell it, so I wanted clarification. I asked “Do you have it in the stores or just on the website?” The woman went away to check and a man picked up the phone a few minutes later to ask what I wanted. I told him someone was helping me already. It was as if he could not hear but when I asked if he could hear me he said “Yes.” I told him again that someone was helping me so he hung up and disconnected the call. I called back and finally I was told the coffee brand in question wasn’t on the shelf, but zero effort was made to determine if other stores had it or if it is only online. This staff needs serious training in customer service and phones. Some staff should not be allowed to answer the phone without training. Very frustrating.

STAY AWAY FROM THE PHOTO LAB IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WELL. I've been going to this location for nearly 15 years. Every 6 months or so, I send all of my pictures into the photo lab's online uploader. Always ready within a few days, I end up spending around $300 getting my pictures printed. They are good quality and a fairly good price. Doing this for the umpteenth time again a few weeks ago, I realized that I missed quite a few pictures and had to send in a second order a few weeks later. Once ready, I went back to the store to pick them up. Masked up, I was greeted at the counter by some rude, older man. He grunted at me, and when I said that I was here to pick up my online order and presented him with the order number, he then said that wasn't good enough and demanded that I showed him ID because he didn't recognize me. Aside from the fact that I was wearing a mask (mandatory), and sent them in online (which is why he didn't see me order them), I don't make it a habit to go around with hacked email accounts spending hundreds of dollars on stranger's photos. I was so caught off-guard, and then insulted that I was basically treated like a thief after spending thousands of dollars at the lab over so many years. I am DONE going there. The store itself I would rate as 5 stars, but I am just so disappointed with the photo lab and would consider it to be 1 star ... thus, 3 stars it is.

Photo staff is so diorganized, I had photos ordered for the next day and came in and they didn't have any of my photos done. But one of the staff says half of the photo is printed so would you come an hr after and when I did they didn't have it ready, so I speak to the guy who works in the lab and he says 15min again. So I came back after 20min and they say 10pics left to be printed and at this point I was so mad at but I waited but they made me wait for 45min. Learned my lesson not coming here again

This location has a pretty big selection of home electronics. TVs, computer gaming systems and a pretty good selection of video games as well. The store is well layed out and all isles are always stocked with items. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The Pharmacy Techs are really polite and helpful and extremely knowlegeable. All around great experience here!

Given the other options in the area i would rather go to LD on 6th. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful when I need to talk to them they seem more familiar with their industry than the other pharmacys in the area. There seems to always been a designated worker in the cosmetics area that can help me skip the line and pay at the cosmetics regiater when i need cosmetics. I personally find their prices better than SDM. I like that I don't need a points card to make shopping at LD worth it. Plus they will take anything back with in a couple weeks for any reason. The place is not a 5 star shopping experience but its not 5 star prices their either.

I would have given 10 stars if possible. Such a great experience. I went in to buy a camera and lens which I have no idea about what to buy or where to buy. Then I met this guy Bryan H at the photography section and cant tell how experienced and knowledgeable about the products in that section. He helped me grab the right camera with right lens. When we were billing one of the other employee came in and asked him if he is not leaving as he is done work and thats when i get to knew that he stayed extra hours to help me out with everything. I am very impressed with customer service especially the way Bryan helped me.

I was in the store at 5:00pm on this Saturday looking for a microwave. There were no sales associates to be found. When I arrived at the cashier to pay, the sign was out to indicate she was closed. This was the only cashier open. We were told go to Customer Service, which we did. The lady behind us asked if they wanted to buy stuff at their store. How do you have a store that big, with no staff? I'm from out of town and I will not be back.

Personally, I never had any troubles with the pharmacy. But maybe it's because I have just a puffer. When Covid started, I was told they would not be able to get my inhaler, and had no idea how long it would take. So they recommended I try another pharmacy and they would send the records as soon as I told them who I set up with. On the other hand for other things, I have actually secret shopped this location years ago. They did well, and still do.

Nightmare pharmacy! The rating of two stars is specifically for the pharmacy. Driving in from out of town and had to on multiple occasions make a second trip due to multi-day waits to fill prescriptions! The rest of the store is good, standard London Drugs chain but the pharmacy is not cool. When I asked around people recommended that I go to any other pharmacy and they reported long waits as well. I had to go back and forth on too many times to try to get necessary medicine that should be given an urgent priority. They also acted high handed and I felt like they were judging me because of the prescription I had filled. In fact, they did judge me because they wrote a letter to my doctor, feeling quite sure that they were more informed about my condition than my doctor. Update: after the store’s email interactions with me after I rated them, I’ve lowered it to one star. Incredibly poor customer experience!!!!!! What was that supposed to do to help? They ask me for more info and how to make it right... and then they don’t reply when I conscientiously take the time to reply to their query! Wow, they managed to waste more of my time without me going into the store! Pharmacy FAIL

As a regular shopper at London Drugs for decades, I have to say, that after moving to New Westminster almost a year ago, I now shop at Shopper's. The LD on 6th is ALWAYS understaffed on the cash registers! This is exasberated by the fact that there are a lot of seniors shopping in the store, who often take longer to go through the cashier line up. You'd think that LD managment would be aware of this, and open an extra till or two during peak periods....or maybe at Xmas?....They don't. Despite the inordinate number of staff stocking shelves at any given time. Guess keeping the shelves full is more important. Which brings me to the store pharmacy. There always seem to be 5 or 6 staff, sometimes more, behind the pharmacy counter, wearing white coats, busy doing....well, it would seem... nothing. Yet somehow there is often a long line up in the prescription drop off line up, a line of very fed up looking customers. The pharmacy staff are extremely slow on the draw when even acknowledging that people are waiting, with one or two stellar exceptions...most of the pharmacy staff are slow, rude, incompetent, and utterly lacking in any concept of customer service. Prescriptions generally take anywhere from 45 mins to 2 hours to fill. The entire store is screaming for adequate staffing and the pharmacy desperately needs a staffing overhaul (with one or two exceptional pharmacy staffers aside) and some serious reorganization in order to become profficient. If you're in a hurry, don't bother shopping here! Walk a block and go to Shoppers at Royal Centre Mall.

The best "local" drug store. A variety of products and lota of helpful staff. A good place to get decent electronics if you're in a pinch, though the pricing isn't super competitive. One of the few retailers to carry Whittaker's chocolate bars from New Zealand, which alone makes them worthy of 5 stars.

Staff seems nice enough. I was having a film developing issue. Person who phone me told me to come. The next person I spoke to had zero idea what I was talking about. Then after I received my roll back I got another phone call about my roll of film..There's no communicate between staff. I will only get c41 developed here. I've had problems with black and white, Lomo and anything that's not the basic C41.

My 85 yr old mother went to get a prescription filled yesterday, she was told it would be a 1 hr wait. Well after the hour went by she was told it would be another 15 min, Then there was a shift change and the clerk informed her it would be another hour!!! Seriously really? Upset and frustrated my mother left saying she would come back today. This is a elderly woman with a major UTI so thanks to London drug pharmacy she had to suffer with this agony one more day. I really hope you did not charge her a dispensing fee because that would be completely wrong. I will be calling and talking to the manager! Few weeks ago went to this location with whole family about renewing our car insurance. Their lady staff stood silent waiting for us to initiate the conversation. My partner asked if she would renew our insurance, but the lady demanded my partner to say 'please' implying that we were rude. Oh lord, embarrassing situation to be in with our kids around. Renewal was done but we'll never go there again. We were handed a scribbles on non icbc related booklet promoting a real estate business for some guy. (Posted on July 8, 2019) Update (Sept 30) Just the other day I had a brief chat with your customer service and indirectly mentioned the above encounter. It turns out that your entire Autoplan Insurance staff are all are being investigated internally. It appears that the manager was running a side business from this location selling weight loss coffee stuff? And the Real Estate pamphlet I mentioned that I said was being handed out at this location turns out to be for a family member of another one of the insurance department staff. Maybe the problem is the store manager and the overall management of London Drugs for letting such staff still work there.

Did on online order for a store pickup on a Dyson tower fan Got home and found that it was used, they took a demo and put it back in the box and sold it as new. This is the second time that they've done this to me. Last time it was a Roku media player. The Roku was hard to find at that time and since it doesn't have moving parts, I didn't worry about it. I live close by so have shopped here for many years and have found that the people who work here are friendly and helpful. Still can't believe that they would do this.

We ordered a 8x8 soft cover book from them 1 week ago. My wife picked it up and we opened it up to look at it when she got home. The cover of the book was our pictures but all the interior pictures were of other people. The cover photo quality was horrible it was all grainy and unclear but the photos on our devices and computer are quite large and clear. I called the store to inform them of their mistake and was my information was collected for someone to return my call. I waited almost an hour and a half and called again as I will be unavailable later. I was transfered around then hung up on. I called back again got the same person as before who couldn't assist me and was told the manager would contact me after her break. I am very disappointed at the quality of customer service and the slight attitude mike was trying (but failed) to hide. I recieved a call back ten minutes later, didn't even get an apology just was told they would reorder it and give us a call to exchange the booklet. Will not be using their photo service again!

I was looking for high end headphones for my son to replace an older set he used as an electric guitar monitor. Navraj walked me directly to the Audio Technica ATH-M50BT. I went home and did my research. I ended up buying 2 pairs from the London Drugs at Coquitlam Centre because I happened to be in the mall. Like all LD computer and photography staff, they were also helpful. But I just wanted to tip my hat to Navraj at the New West location for nailing my needs. I'm using the second pair hardwired to my electric piano. I also use them with my phone via Bluetooth 5.0. they sound absolutely unbelievable. Thanks Navraj!

Great service at London Drugs - Lawson Heights. Now first off, I have always had excellent service from both Saskatoon locations but this was next level. I had ordered an enlargement print (13 x 19 inches) but somehow I had sent them a file with my watermark on it twice. When I discovered it I was still at the store they said no problem just send us the new file and we will not charge for the first. WOW. It was my mistake and I said so, also indicating I had no problem in paying for my mistake. They said absolutely not a problem and no charge replacement. Well that night I sent in a new order and when I didn't get a notice within the next 48 hours I called to see if they had received the order. Absolutely but they are experiencing 5 times their usual Christmas orders and were running behind. I phoned back a couple days later as I had not heard and they said it would be done that day but still no call but on the 6th day I got notice the order was ready. When I picked it up it was no charge! Unbelievable! ???????? WHat great service. Thank you London Drugs!

The other day I had to get a battery replacement for my iPhone X and the tech at London Drugs Jesse did an amazing job and fitted me into his very busy schedule so my phone would get fixed! I have been shopper at London Drugs in Lawson Heights Mall since past 14 years. Today for the first time I had a bad experience and i feel that it was because i went in there with a baby. I went in to get my baby’s picture taken for her passport and associate at photo lab gave me a reason that is not valid and ignored the service. I think he just didn’t wanted to work and that’s why he said no(white lie). My friend went to same place 2 weeks ago with same age baby as mine and she had her picture taken with different associate. I went in there Mar/13/2021. So if the store manager is reading this please take some action. This is not first time, my other family member had same issue with this person. Hes been working there since long time. Thanks

My go to location for all of my prescription, photo or occasional everyday needs. Convenient location. My only complaint would be that the staff should know what is in and on sale in the flyers. Went in on Black Friday to get a iTunes card that was 10% off of $50 or $100, and nobody seemed to know that they were on sale. Happened last Christmas too where the cards weren’t scanning up at the 10% off price ( which is fine, they just needed a code ), but I believe all employees should flip through the flyer and know what is on sale and what they are selling instead of Turing it into an argument with the customer. Overall though I’ve been quite pleased shopping there.

I was in this store last week and was astounded by the collection of furniture and other home accessories carried by this store. Me and my wife were assisted by a gentleman named Ashray. the tables we wanted to buy were not in the stock at the store, but Ashray assured us that he would arrange them for us. Do not take your Apple products here. I was looking to get my screen fixed two days ago. I was having trouble with booking an appointment online, I was able to login to the store locator service on Apple but was not able to book an appointment. I went to the store and demonstrated the issue I was having. There was no tech in that day and I was assured that if I showed up at 1:30PM the next day the tech would be in and able to fix my phone. I got there at 1:45PM and the gentlemen I spoke with the day before was not in. Instead I spoke with an obtuse and condescending staff member towards the issue I was having. They stated that there was no availability that the soonest I could get in was tomorrow...How was I supposed to trust this as I was told the same thing yesterday? After I expressed my frustration he said that I could get in today but it could take 5-6hrs. Yeah, no. I took it to the Apple Store in South Gate and had everything done in 2hrs. I would avoid coming here, poor customer service.

Some of the staff know things and then others seem like they are living under a rock. An employee working in the camera department literally didn't know the difference between a tripod and a monopod... This same employee didn't know what Apple AirPods were. These may seem like small issues but in a tech store you should probably do some research on upcoming products or just the products they carry in general. If the store doesn't provide product knowledge it's not that hard to research on your own time.

I've popped in and shopped here numerous times. I've bought phones, licorice, cleaning supplies, etc. Throughout my time shopping here I've never had a problem worth bringing out, and the customer service was good. I came in here Thursday , browsed around, and grabbed some ink. The ink was on Amazon for $8 cheaper, and since LD heavily advertises "Price Match Guaranteed", I went to get it checked. Waiting in line, I got to the cashier, where she quickly scanned my items and told me the total. I asked if they price matched, and was told "no". I asked if that was indeed the case, and she realized they did indeed price-match. The cashier gave me a blank, annoyed look and I turned over my cellular device after deducing this was code for "May I see the competitor's offer, please?" She didn't know how to price check, so she waved over a senior employee and/or supervisor - while the person behind me patiently tapped their fingers against the counter (seriously, that's obnoxious and rude, don't do that) - and she checked it over. After a beat or three, the employee said they weren't the same products, citing that the ink's title contained a "3" at the end (the pictures of the ink were the exact same as the one LD was selling, so I'm guessing the 3 in title referred to fact that you're getting three inks instead of one). Unwilling to argue and upset our fine citizen's further, I acknowledged their conjucture. Afterwards I looked over the Amazon ink, as I spent awhile verifying they were the same and couldn't spot a difference and went to the back of the store to get a second opinion. After talking to one technical staff behind the counter, they said they couldn't find any difference between the two and went to talk to their supervisor to get their approval. Thankfully, it wasn't particularly difficult to get the price adjusted at that point (a bit time consuming, but I don't mind waiting). Unfortunately, the bad impression had already formed. While the second employee I'd talked was great, the first was lacking in several factors. Its not as if I'll refuse to shop here again, but my desire to come back has been reduced. The prices are decent, not great (Loblow's stores tend to be cheaper), but not expensive enough for me to often mind, they have a neat loyalty program and the customer service is, the majority of the time, good. As it were, though, negative experience are often more apparent than positive ones. This review isn''t reflective on this store or company as a whole, just a singlar experience. One that stood out enough for me to write a review. I would've rated this visit with single star, but gave two since the second employee mitigated the incident and was friendly.

The "OPEN" sign on the outside was lit. There was no signage to indicate any Christmas Eve hours on the door. It was approximately 6:28 when I entered the store. We were just picking up a few non-essential items (chips/snacks) very quickly. Upon entering a cashier indicated that the store would be closing in about 2 minutes. I said, "That's not a problem, we know what we want and we will just be in and out!". It was at this time that, what I presume to be a manager or supervisor, indicated that the store was closed. I asked if they wanted us to leave, and they provided an ambiguous response. I indicated thst their sign said open and there were no Christmas Eve hours posted on the door and that it's frustrating as a customer to be given such mixed signals. I had previously worked at LD for over ten years. I've worked Christmas Eve. I'm not going to intentionally hold up the closure of the store; I can completely empathize... But this was a situation that could have been avoided if there was a strong indication on the outside of the store that they were closed or about to close.

Selling products that don’t work as listed and then refusing to refund in any way shape or form aside from an exchange for the same product. I went through 3 of the same headsets that list they are compatible with my gaming console on the box as well as your website. They are functionally unusable as they cause the controller to disconnect from the console mid game as well as do not provide sufficient volume for either regular listening or communications. The only solution provided was to purchase an upgraded headset for almost 100$ more as they don’t allow a downgrade, in store credit or return of any kind. Very disappointing customer service with the manager not dealing with me personally and simply relayed everything through a floor worker which is unfortunate because everyone else in that department was very courteous.

I placed an online order over 3 weeks ago and they seem to have misplaced it. I have called every week requesting information on my package and not once have I got a call back like I was promised. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and I have never been so upset with an online order. I would recommend NEVER dealing with London Drugs because you will just get played around. When I come to this location I always feel like I’m been attacked by a sales person.. I just walk in the store and with in seconds I get asked do I need help finding something, then they seem to follow you around and stand there watching you like a prison guard.. When you finally need help and ask the staff something they act like they have no idea what’s going on or where to find something so why ask if you need help when you can’t help in the first place, sometimes I have to shake my head.

Called ahead to ask how long to expect a MacBook repair to take, as I was coming from out of town (2 hours from the store). I was told 7 -10 days. I went to the store the next day and was told the time was actually "indeterminate" possibly months, and at least >3 weeks. I asked to take the computer back after it was assessed and return it when the part came in, but was told that was "impossible" and that it would have to stay at the store. I offered to pay for the replacement part in advance, in the case that apple refuses to warranty it, but was told they would keep that money even if apple did warrantee the computer. Customer agent snickered that I should try getting that back from Apple. Wasted a whole day and travel costs. Apple provided zero support for their product, gave different (and ultimately wrong) info every time I called. Stay away from Apple - it's overpriced garbage with planned obsolescence and terrible customer service. Staff at LD provided no help and wrong information. It wasn't the first computer I have bought from LD Vernon, but it will be my last.

Today I went to the phamacy to buy 2 Jr. Epi-Pens. I think the pharmacist's name is "Min". He asked me if I knew how to use it. I said, "orange to the thigh, blue to the sky. I still have to practice on an orange". He then said, I have a demo epi-pen. He showed me how it worked and where on the thigh to shoot it. Nobody's ever demo'd it to me. Thanks Min!

Bought a camera and it had issues with it and simply wanted to get refund for it. less than 10days of purchase, it showed problem and the camera section guy didnt process it and instead asked me to go to the originally purchased branch. Did so and the other branch person say They could have done it from there. Had busy rush time for this hassel and inconvenience. The way he responded was akward too. Saying Looks like something forced.. Which sounds like blaming user. For checking the camera, he opened it up and never put it back and send me back to the other branch. Dont buy any especially CAMERA from this branch!

I am a person who is hard of hearing and have a hard time finding headphones that go loud enough. I went to the store and discussed my issue with the electronics staff. They told me that the over ear head phones may work well for me due to there ability to cancel sounds out. At no time did they tell me that I can’t return them! Obviously they did not work for me. There is no returns on over the ear headphones. The claim is for cleanliness. But they do not go in my ear! So then I guess there is no return on hats or ear muffs either!

I went in today to purchase some scratch cards, I show the lady my ID and I pointed to where the birthdate was located, she still couldn't find it and wouldn't accept my ID, she called for a manager and the manager said that he can not accept this form of ID, bare in mind I was using a Permanent Resident card that has a birthdate on. They refused my purchase, and I was left unsatisfied. I suggest your staff learns how to read all forms of ID so nobody else with a permanent residence ID has the same trouble that I did. I will not be coming back again.

I am type 1 diabetic. I ran out of my metformin three days ago and called the pharmacy to fill my prescription. 99% of the time I pick up my medicine. Unfortunately this time neither me nor my wife can pick up the medicine as we are ill. We are also very old seniors. London drugs promised to deliver my medicine on day one. So far my medicine has not arrived. Each day I call the pharmacy the assistant Manager says that they came to my house to deliver but no one is home. I am 100% sure they are not coming to m y home. I asked to speak to the Manager but she would not put him on. Tomorrow is the fourth day I will have to go to without my medicine. What a careless incompetent, and inconsiderate assistant Manager.

The customer service in the electronics department is poor. It takes forever to receive help from staff, even you try to get their attention. Once it took over 15 minutes. One staff member in particular that puts me off wanting to use this London Drugs store for electronics is Dalton H. The last two times I have tried to buy from this store, he has actively complained about the product I wanted to buy and tried to sell me something else without giving me a choice. This last time, he didn't even consider getting me the product I asked for and instead went to get a different product without asking me. It was only because the item was out of stock that he gave me a choice. I would not use this store again for electronics.

WOW, I saw my doctor on the 12th and she gave me a prescription which I took to this store. I had to wait 30 minutes to give them the paper. On the 13th I had a different doctors appointment and 2 more drugs were ordered but the doctor sent them in by fax. The store called and said that the first one was also ready that day. Hoping to avoid that always long lines I decided I would pick them up at the same time. Life gets busy so I didn't get back around there until today when I really need the medication. It's now the 19th so they have had the second script for 6 days. When I went to the counter I was asked could I come back in an hour? I'm not sure what they could do in an hour that they couldn't do in almost a week. Maybe they don't think it's important that I get my medicine? This isn't a one of situation. I guess the problem is that they don't have enough staff or too many customers. Maybe if we all quit going there they can fix this issue. I for one am not going to purchase any more T.V.'s or computers there until I can get my drugs in a timely manner without these hassles.

Very poor service. Staff are very slow and unorganized. I think it's ridiculous you can't return items at the retrurn and exchange counter if you bought the item from the electronics department.The electronics Dept is literally 1/3 of the store and if you have one person in the electronics department, how can you reasonably expect to get service without having to wait a ridiculous amount of time? Will never visit this location again.

We had a 11:00 AM appointment to get a battery changed in my husbands phone. We thought we Would go do some shopping and than lunch. At 1240 we hadn’t heard from anyone so we went over and the two workers we’re just visiting... when he inquired about how his phone is doing the one tec guy said “ Oh I was just going to phone your other contact and tell you the battery life is fine it doesn’t need to be changed” that’s 1 hour 40 minutes AFTER the appointment at Lawson heights London drugs. We looked at him and stated it’s 80% I still want it changed and why didn’t you phone before To inquire? He told us to come back in yet another hour.... at 2 pm we got the call that this was all finished.Apple stated it only takes 1 hour... So three hours later they call and say it’s finished. Why do you have appointment on a Saturday if you cannot fulfill them???? Terrible service. No sorry no nothing.

I came in to inquire about photo prints and the little girl at the photos counter was extremely rude to me. She saw me come to the counter and then hid in the room with the glass doors. Once she finally came out she clearly did not want my service. A week before I came in asking about landline phones and the middle eastern guy told me I should not have a phone if I do not understand how to use them and kept flinging his finger at me. So rude. I am 72 years old and came to Canada when I was 6 years old. Believe it or not have used a home phone before.

It's got more soul then Shoppers Drug Mart and the environment feels less sterile( in a good way, not touch something and you've got to lather purell on your hands to avoid getting scurvy or the black lung kind of way). Bought a DJI Mobile 2 and it turned out to be a lemon. The Department manager, Chris, took care of the refund after DJI refused to honor a full refund as their policy only covers within 7 days. Chris went out of his way to take care of the refund matter for me. However, I would suggest London Drugs make it clear to customers that the manufacture's warranty may differ from those backed by London Drugs.

I have always loved LD and shop there often. The staff are helpful but not very acurate. I bought a laptop there 1 year ago and was told it would be in within 3 to 5 days. One month later I was so frustrated that I bought a cheaper model that today I am so sorry I did. Because I like LD I didn't give up on them, but today I again am very disappointed. I was told that if I was not satisfied, for whatever reason, with a product I bought in the cosmetic department just to bring it back. So I did purchase a new brand product I was told was very similar to the one I usually buy, and again was told if not satisfied just bring it back. ( there was never any instruction to have the original receipt also) So today I did bring back that product still 3/4 full. Was told I needed a receipt, I said it would show on my LD membership account and she said that would not work, so I said I did have a MC statement. But again it had to be the paper receipt that I was given at time of buying the product. I can see that that makes sence but because I was not told that when I purchased the product I didn't have my original receipt. I didn't want a refund I just wanted to exchange the staff recommended product for what I usually got. I guess it might be time to give some other drug stores a chance. Good by LD, we did have a great run of many many years.

This pharmacy has terrible service with pharmacist help actually lying and judging and basically refused to help us! We were told to go there by the clinic next door due to breathy problems for a nebullizer and they first looked him over and started whispering to each other and then stated the item was too expensive for us and then told us the price was $160. And when we said we had the money they said they didn’t have any and had to order one and all this without even checking the computer or shelves I was outraged and left to go to Shoppers’s drug mart where we had wonderful service but the point is when someone can’t breathe properly they should be helped not judged poorly!

I've been an LD customer for almost 40 years. Throughout all that time I've viewed it as the gold standard in Vancouver for fair dealing, attentive customer service, pleasant stores, reasonable local product selection and competitive pricing. I can't recall ever regretting a purchase. The few returns were graciously handled. Fair treatment is a two way street: be reasonable and fair with the store and I believe that's what will come back to you.

So i asked a store associate when the dji mavic air fly more combo kit is going to be on sale... He said it won't EVER go on sale, he did go on the computer to check if and when it was going on sale, and i asked around 2 weeks ago... fast track to today (02/23/2019) low and behold, it's on sale on this store for $1199.99 compared to the regular price of $1349.99... It's too late now, i bought the mavic air combo at BEST BUY because london drugs wont accept returns for this drone no matter if its defective out of the box... your loss london drugs.

I called this location inquiring about the return/exchange policy on the Rocker Recliner chair I purchased a few months earlier. I was helped by Joey and I can honestly say I have never received such incredible customer service! Joey found me a replacement chair in BC and had it transferred to the Lawson Heights location in Saskatoon in less than 3 days!? I was shocked with how quickly my issue was being resolved! Joey very clearly communicated with me every step that was being taken to replace my broken chair and made sure I was kept in the loop the entire time. Joey was an absolute pleasure to have to help me resolve the issues I was having with my chair. I've received very poor customer service from London Drugs before, however, Joey's outstanding care for me and my exchange has completely changed my opinion on this store! If you need any assistance at the Lawson Heights London Drugs, I highly recommend asking to be helped by Joey!!!

I brought a prescription for a compound to them Thursday evening and asked when they would have it ready. They said Saturday and when I prepared to leave offered Friday afternoon. After getting my info the time changed to Friday evening. I pointed out that it was supposed to be Friday afternoon and Friday morning would be better. I called on Friday at 12:30 pm and was told the best they could do was 5 pm. Guess I'll go get the prescription and take it somewhere else. Probably will take longer but I'd rather not deal with them.

As someone who had worked for London drugs for years, I’m really not a fan of this store. The cosmetics manager is a real piece of work. The first time I encountered her I had an item ring up far more than the shelf label. I brought it up and mentioned the scanning code of practice (bc wide law) and she started to argue it with me. I told her it was a bc wide policy and it’s not up to her to decide and I’d like to see her manager. She gave me the $10 off and was rude from then on. I’ve avoided her since but last week I came to exchange an eyeliner. I bought brown and wanted to change it to black. She said I couldn’t because I didn’t have my receipt. I ended up arguring about how I just wanted to exchange and it is in their store policy and I wanted to see the manager. She told me the head office would send me a cheque for price of liner. I argued against and she gave me store credit on a gift card and made me purchase the new one. I got home and the liner was dried out and unusable. So I took it back again, and again she said I couldn’t exchange. She finally allowed me to get another liner and she opened it before I bought it to prove to me it would work. She is a petty woman and I really dislike her. She’s not a good sales associate, she’s rude, doesn’t listen to policy, and makes you feel like your a nuisance in her department.

Bought my daughter’s chromebook here and was convinced to buy the warranty. After having issues with computer, I took it in and they were not helpful at all. Rude/dismissive staff. Treated me like I was lying or scamming them. Like I have nothing better to do than waste time. Will not shopping here again and definitely would never purchase their warranty/service plan. Waste of money.

Don't ever go there to make passport pictures. I went 2 times for baby to make pictures, always some problems, then he was to blond then his close where to light which wasn't true then the lighting was bad. Sad that they claim they have new technology but can't take a picture. Where in post office they did it in less then a minute with no problems what so ever.

After being frustrated endlessly (and arguably mistreated) at a national-level electronics chain, I brought my laptop with a failed hard drive to London Drugs in Sherwood Park. Upon my arrival, Stanley greeted me warmly and promptly began the assessment process on my computer. Even though I did not ask Stanley for updates as to his progress, he very quickly provided me with one which gave me the confidence I needed to allow him the time he required to solve my computer problems. Stanley then proceeded to fully accomplish in only four days what the national-level competitor could not achieve in almost 3 weeks - he retrieved my data and then suggested and completed the re-installation of a new hard drive, installed an operating system and made suggestions regarding virus software. Stanley's performance was truly extraordinary not only because he was swift and highly professional but because he demonstrated a level of caring and consideration that is very rare to find in a retail environment - to be clear, Stanley went above and beyond the expected norm and by doing so delivered a truly superlative customer experience. I'm not sure if his performance is a result of the training he received from London Drugs or just his personality and brilliant technical skills on full display but I am very thankful for the work he did on my computer (the other outfit wanted more time and an extra $1,600 with no guarantee of success whatsoever, Stanley did much more work than them, he did the work much faster than them and he did it for a small fraction of what they were demanding). Let there be no doubt, Stanley (and his departmental colleagues) deserve a GOLD MEDAL for the impressively quick, professional and comprehensive services that were provided to me. Thank-you again Stanley for the work you did for me, I will bring my other machines to you if/when they require services and encourage the people in my circle of influence to do so as well.

I went to London Drugs to purchase a printer on Feb 13th, and some very nice gentlemen named Justin and Nate helped me find the perfect printer for my situation. Unfortunately, the printer wasn't in stock so they very helpfully ordered it from another store.

I put in an order on line couple of days ago for a chromebook as I really didn't want to go inside with all the covid #. I waited for about 3 hours and tried calling the store few times to check on my order. I waited on hold for over 15 min first time for someone's at customer service to answer then she put me on hold again and I waited another 10 min for computer electronics guy to answer. I asked him if he can check on my order and when I would be able to come in and pick it up. He said yeah we have your order come on in and I will have it ready. First of all why would I have to come in and second when I came in he didn't have it ready for a pick up. I had to find him as he wasn't at the computer section. He asked me for my name and what I ordered I told him he went into back.room grabbed a chromebook and went somewhere. Then he came back asked me another question and went back to the back room. At this point I was super annoyed. He knew I was coming to get it why wasn't this done. He Finally finished gave me the box and saw that the box was opened. I asked why is the box opened. He said oh this chromebook was returned. I said I don't want this one I want a brand new one. Usually opened return boxes are at discount price. At this point i was so ready to looze it. I made him.go back to the room and get me.one that wasnt open. That night they were way under staffed l. Nobady to help on the floor. One cashier. Customer desk phone was ringing of the hook Nobady there cashier was running from the till yo customer desk. I said oh wow short staff tonight she was like yeah buzy night.

Love the Pharmacy. My experience tonight was with the photo department. First time at the LD photo, needed help around the self printing. The employee behind the desk referred a young girl who tried her best to change items regarding size. She apologized on behalf of the system. I could relate, I was watching her try. Another employee gave me a lesson on size ratio, ugh. Then interrupted us to speak to the girl. I called him on it, suggesting he could at least say excuse me before interrupting. He said he was in a hurry, so I left. Perhaps the lady behind the photo desk should of helped us to begin with.

My wife purchased a espresso machine here with the retailer pushing the extended warranty option sold by London drugs. Now it's time to use the extended warranty and the store representatives in grande prairie are nothing but a nightmare to deal with. No help, rudeness, and forcing my wife to try and track down the breakdown in communication between this store and their corporate warranty program. They refuse to contact their own people and find it why London drugs warranty office communications aren't going from their warranty office to their own store here in Grande prairie. Products are standard and usually no issues but I definitely don't recommend getting sold into their trusted "extended warranty program". Not worth the hassle of fixing their problems for them.

Do not get film developed here!!! They overcharge atrociously for certain types of film. I've taken the same type of film to Don's or places in other cities where it's only about $15. Also the film they sell is a rip off too. Better to go to walmart or dons to buy rolls.

I went to your store yesterday to get six pages faxed of to Edmonton. The girl told me it would cost $24.00 dollars I said no thanks. Then I went to Shoppers on the South side in Grande Prairie I asked how much was it to fax of six sheets she said $6.50 cents. I couldn’t believe the difference. I have the recite to show London Drugs. It’s outrageous what you are charging a sheet to fax. It would be different if I wanted something copied off then I’m useing your paper. So I know who is getting my business when I want to fax anything. Also I told my friends to go to Shoppers to fax there papers.

This London drugs is near me and for years this is the store I often come to since it is the most convenient for me distance wise. Generally their costumer service is great, although lately while grocery shopping and ready to pay for my goods. This lady at the lottery cashier area where I was paying for my groceries was carelessly scanning and as a result scanned a few of my items twice. I mentioned this to her since I noticed at the monitor what was happening, and she silently corrected her mistake. I was put-off with her careless attitude, and I decided to bring up my concern to the gentleman right beside her at the lottery cash register and who I assumed is her supervisor. The gentleman responded, "Good thing you are checking, you know sometimes it happens and people make mistake". No more no less as if to brush off my feedback.

Terrible!!! This used to be my go to London Drugs. Not anymore, sold out of a lot of stuff. They didn't even have Christmas Crackers. When I asked the manager for the things I was looking for she was very rude and said "Yeah we didn't get any... umm maybe we only had last year's stock and it's all gone." Which is it?
