Ils s'assurent aussi que la monture soit parfaitement ajusté sur le visage avant que le client parte...évidemment satisfait! Je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner lorsque j'aurai besoin de nouvelles paires.

I had my eyes checked for the very first time in my whole life, that's why I was kinda careful in choosing which optical clinic to go. I was seen and examined by Dr. Nicolas Tea today. I am satisfied with the service and the thorough exam I had. It feels like your eyes are in good hands with Zyeu Eaton. The optometrist gave me a complete examination (glasses + lenses) and issued a prescription only for glasses .. and not for contact lenses that I initially wanted. I was able to order contact lenses, but could not get the prescription even though I paid for a full consultation. Also the service is very slow, I recommend you go somewhere else. L'optométriste m'a fait un examen complet (lunettes + lentilles) et délivré une ordonnance uniquement pour des lunettes.. et non pour des lentilles de contact que je souhaitais initialement. J'ai pu commander des lentilles de contact, mais impossible d'avoir l'ordonnance alors que j'ai payé une consultation complète. I walk into this store to have my glasses fix. The right bow of glasses was disconnected. I ask if he could repair it. He said this is broken. I then ask him if he could take the glass out and put it into another frame. He said, I see what I could do. In one hour he had perform the miracle. It took almost a month* to have my glasses. I like to believe that they're trying to do their best all the time and in my case, simply, that didn't work. Well, that happens. *my first eye exam was on 17th January 2017 and for more precise results I took a second exam on 24th January. When I go there to pick up my glasses on 27th January, I immediately realised that my right eye doesn't see as clearly as it should with the new glasses but I've been told to give it a time to adjust. Well it wasn't about adjusting, with my new pair of glasses my right eye see worst than with my old pair of glasses . I went there again and told them the situation as it is. They gave me an apointment for one more exam on February 7th. On February 7th my right eye's prescription changed a little and Dr. La told me that just to be sure, before making new lenses, I should go another clinic to scan my right eye even more thoroughly. Which was the right thing to do. She told me that they will call me from that clinic and give me an appointment. Well, I know that's not her fault but that clinic called me and gave me an appointment to May 18th. So I went back Zyeu and claimed my new lenses according to February 7th adjustments. It was Saturday and owner said they were busy "come again in weekdays" I said I'm here now and I didn't leave. At the end he told me that they're going to make the new lenses and I told him to call me when my glasses are ready.

I am editing my review because I found out that the reason why I was made to wait for 1 hour was because the previous patient before me potentially had an important issue with his brain and the optometrist was trying to contact the hospital to get him to see a neurosurgeon. I understand this was an extraordinary case which required extraordinary measures. It would have been nice to be explained this perhaps ~15 min into my wait time because it was really frustrating to wait for an entire hour without any satisfying explanation (other than that the previous patient is still with the doctor). I was happy with the service I received at this optometrist after I finally saw the doctor and would go again. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Do not go to this optometrist. They will make you pay money if you are late to your appointment, yet they won’t respect your time when you arrive at the appointment on time. I had an appointment at 2 PM and have been waiting for 1 hour in the store. I find this utterly unacceptable and disrespectful.

This is a bit of a long story but two weeks ago I came to Zyeu for an eye exam for new lenses. It had been two years since I got my previous lenses and my vision had gotten worse. The test done was the standard eye exam you get with some nice, interesting, and kind of fun pretests before the actual exam for them to have for your profile. Because I was keeping my lenses it took a week for my lenses to get shipped in and when they did they had it swapped within the hour, as advertised. Earlier today, I was in a minor bike accident that caused my glasses to break. They frames actually cracked, the lenses themselves stayed fine. But since I needed new glasses, I went. They booked me in day of and I had a frame chosen in just 30 minutes. Their selection is great! On top of the excellent customer service, they gave me a discount on my new frames/lenses since I had just gotten the "new" ones just a couple weeks back. Lastly, they put my broken frames back together temporarily until the new glasses come in. Before I choose Zyeu as my eye doctor when I moved to Montréal, I was debating between two other stores. My positive experiences here have made me even happier of my choice and hope this helps other people choose them if they're just starting for the first time.

(Translated) During my first visit to Zyeu Optométristes, I was very impressed by the speed and efficiency of their team. I was given an eye test right away. I immediately saw the ophthalmologist. I chose my frame and they promised me everything within two weeks, a promise they kept. However, once my glasses were paid, I had to return twice to have them adjusted, which fell off constantly. In other words, they are practically unusable. When I asked them if we could find a solution (ex: put my glasses on another frame that I offered to pay), the optometrist told me that my glasses would never hold in place since the glasses were too heavy for the frame. He made me understand that Zyeu Optometrists would do nothing to help me. When I mentioned to them that I had followed their "advice" and that I relied on their expertise to give me a product that met my needs, he shrugged, looked at his watch and told me that I could leave the store since everything "would be OK". The irony is that there were two other customers in the store at the same time who also complained about the poor service. Result: I paid $ 850 for new glasses and I will still have to buy myself another pair and keep them for reading horizontally. Friends have advised me to hire a lawyer, but I prefer to absorb this slap in the face and share my experience so that other clients (like you) are not fooled by the lack of professionalism and integrity of Zyeu Optométristes . In closing, I must say that I have been wearing glasses for almost 40 years and Zyeu Optometrists is, by far, the worst after-sales service that I have had the opportunity to experience. There are so many other good optometrists in Montreal ,. Don't make the same mistake as me and go somewhere else. Update: Let's say that I was not surprised by Zyeu's response to my comment (see below). In short, they send me directly to the jaws of the wolf (at the Eaton Center store) rather than referring me to another franchisee where I would be supported by a different team. Again, Zyeu failed to serve the client well. (Original) Lors de ma première visite chez Zyeu Optométristes, j'ai été très impressionné par la rapidité et l'efficacité de leur équipe. On m'a fait passer un test de vue sans tarder. J'ai vu immédiatement l'ophtalmologiste. J'ai choisi ma monture et on m'a promis le tout d'ici deux semaines, promesse qu'ils ont tenu. Toutefois, une fois mes lunettes payées, j'ai dû retourner à deux reprises afin de faire ajuster celles-ci qui tombaient constamment. En d'autres mots, elles sont pratiquement inutilisables. Quand je leur ai demandé si nous pouvions trouver une solution (ex: mettre mes verres sur une autre monture que j'ai offert de payer), l'optométriste m'a dit que mes lunettes ne tiendraient jamais en place puisque les verres étaient trop lourds pour la monture. Il m'a fait comprendre que Zyeu Optométristes ne ferait rien pour m'aider. Quand je leur ai mentionné que j'avais suivi leurs "conseils" et que je me fiais sur leur expertise pour me donner un produit qui répondait à mes besoins, il a haussé les épaules, a regardé sa montre et m'a dit que je pouvais quitter le magasin puisque tout "serais OK". L'ironie, c'est qu'il y avait deux autres clients dans le magasin au même moment qui se plaignaient également du mauvais service. Résultat: j'ai payé 850$ pour des nouvelles lunettes et je devrai malgré tout aller m'acheter une autre paire et conserver celles-ci pour la lecture à l'horizontale. Des amis m'ont conseillé d'engager un avocat, mais je préfère absorber cette claque au visage et partager mon expérience afin que d'autres clients (comme vous) ne soient pas bernés par le manque de professionalisme et d'intégrité de Zyeu Optométristes. En terminant, je dois préciser que je porte des lunettes depuis près de 40 ans et Zyeu Optométristes est, de loin, le pire service après-vente que j'ai eu l'occasion d'expérimenter. Il y a tellement d'autres bons optométristes à Montréal,. Ne faites pas la même erreur que moi et allez ailleurs. Mise à jour: Disons que je n'ai pas été surpris de la réponse de Zyeu à mon commentaire (voir ici-bas). Bref, ils me renvoient directement dans la gueule du loup (au magasin du Centre Eaton) plutôt que de me référer à un autre franchisé où je serais pris en charge par une équipe différente. Encore une fois, Zyeu a échoué à bien servir le client.

Mixed feelings. I came twice. The first time, i had amazing customer service and the girl who helped me was super friendly and helpful. The second time i came it was with the man who was tall, had beard, glasses and round face. He got the job done however he was considerably snobby and condescending when he talked to me. To conclude, they get the job done, if they make a mistake they will fix it however if you want good customer service, go with one of the girls and don't go with that guy. (He's the guy in one of the customer photo reviews you'll see on this post) Hence, the mixed feelings. I unfortunately won't go back there again because I don't want to experience being talked down on when I paid for a service.

after getting a very difficult prescription by another optometrist i followed the good ratings to get a second opinion here at zyeu and was not let down! I would recommend dr Tea for his skill, patience and thoroughness. i have a very odd eye condition that makes the exam and finding the right balance is pretty difficult..he really focused on getting the best real life prescription, rather than the best academic one. I was really satisfied with his effort and walked away with a prescription that was suitable for me and my intended use; something that encourages me to wear them, which sounds like he achieved what an optometrist's goal would be. thanks.

I had the worst experience as the customer. I explained my situation that I am there for eye check up and i need the prescription for my glasses and contacts lenses. They agreed initially, they charged me 100$ ( 70$+30$) and they gave me prescription the next day for the glasses but they cheated telling that they cannot give prescription for contact lenses and they have to charge another 25 $ for data extraction ( which is a complex word for exploiting us with more charges). There are two lady opticiens who spoke to me, (one asian name, another Sarah) i dont remember the names exactly who are very manipulative. The worst is the boss or the manager - Mike. When you ask him more questions about their service in disappointed manner, he threatens you that he will call the security. I dont understand how people do business with out basic ethics.

My French isn't very good and they kindly accommodated me by speaking English, and prioritized helping me find frames that suit my features with honesty and directness. Thanks for your response ,but I think you didn't get what I wrote! My prescription is changed but your doctor gave me a higher prescription 2 years ago and it's not NORMAL! AMAZING SERVICE!! I will return. I was walking by on the street and saw a client trying on a pair of glasses that i really liked. I walked in, although everyone was busy with a client, they still found time to serve me within minutes. I needed a pair now, mine was on life support. Highly doubt I will ever return. First visit was good, albeit their system never recorded my initial appointment correctly despite having an email confirmation. Following my first eye exam, I was told that I would need a follow up after I pick up my glasses and was given an appointment. Confirmed the day before through a phone call. Came in today and was told that my appointment wasn’t for a follow up but rather the first eye exam. And all I got was bewildered looks from the staff... Why was I misinformed? Anyhow, it’s sad that I wasted my time just to come in and push back other tasks.
