I am not a client, but we were visiting the art gallery next door with my daughter and her friend, and the girls walked in here absolutely fascinated by the beautiful glasses on display. The owner's daughter spent at least half an hour patiently letting the girls try on anything they desired, and this was their highlight of the day (even more interesting than the art gallery!) Thank you for being so lovely, really going above and beyond when it was obvious we were visiting Montreal and couldn't even be prospective customers. This is customer service at its best and if I were a resident I would definitely be a client.

Merci à ces derniers, mes lunettes tiennent sur mon nez et je n'ai plus mal à la tête. Au nombre d'optométristes de qualité à Montréal, on ne me reprendra pas chez Georges Laoun, mon argent est trop important...

Wonderful service! I had an eye exam, and a new lenses installed in a pair of glasses (changed prescription). They were really accommodating, helpful, and not pushy at all. The price of the lenses was also fair, I'm happy they offer Zeiss glass.

They have an amazing selection of frames! Much more unique and colourful than most shops. The staff is very attentive (and bilingual!). When I went, the lady asked me about my style preferences and then went around the store handpicking a dozen frames to suit my style and face-shape. Glasses shopping alone isn't easy so her input was very helpful! I ended up buying frames elsewhere just because I found a pair I really loved at a different shop but I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who wants very unique, funky, trendy frames.

Beyond this, I appreciate the boutique's involvement with a variety of local Montreal artists, which provides an authentic feeling of community.

My wife has been a customer for years, bought several pairs of glasses here over more than ten years, and really likes the selection. She needed an adjustment to tighten up the fit after a few years. She walked in, the shop offered to do it, they heated the frame to re-bend the frame, all seemed fine. She got the glasses back, and immediately things seemed off. When she brought them back, the shop said "the fog resistance covering has been damaged, like by heating it, so the lens is distorted and you need new glasses." But they refused to acknowledge the obvious idea that *the shop had damaged the lens.* It's not just that they didn't do anything to compensate, didn't offer to replace the glasses, didn't even offer a slight discount. It's that they wouldn't even do her the courtesy of telling the truth and admitting what had obviously happened. It was disrespectful. She bought her new glasses elsewhere and won't go back.

A complete eye exam should include PD, if it means extra charges so be it. You shouldn't avoid the matter by saying '' I will need to check with my boss because I don't think we do that anymore and we will call you back '' after having the exam and being paid. If you are so afraid of customers buying their glasses from the internet you should step up your f***ing game and provide them with affordable frames and a variety of choices. Customers have the right to have the PD mesurement if they are taking a COMPLETE exam, you can't make them buy eyeglasses from you, and you can't deny them a service because you don't feel like it. I won't be back for an eye exam nor to buy glasses, I have nothing against the employees their they were professionals but store policy is ridiculous.

I've bought four of my great frames from Georges Laoun, and I'm very happy with their frames and service. This store carries the artistic and often rare frames if those are the qualities you are looking for in frames. They also carry traditional and comfortable frames as well. Georges Laoun got a great warranty policy should something happens to the frame and lens that you purchased from them. I give them top marks for their service when I got my eyes checked and when I was selecting frames and lens because I feel their staffs are friendly, personal and helpful make a good recommendation while I don't feel pressured buying the frames if I'm not ready. This is the best place to go to get your eyes checked and buy frames!

I have been a client at Georges Laoun for about 5 years and have bought two pairs of prescription glasses and two pairs of prescription sun glasses with them. My experience has been overall very positive. I could count on respect from the knowledgeable and passionate staff, good value for money, and a high quality product not easily available at most opticians. I also like that it is a one-stop shop because I can have an eye exam with them as well. Georges Laoun also stands behind their products. I had a defective arm on one pair of my prescription glasses. Mr. Daniel Laoun had the pair replaced free of charge. I do not mind paying a higher price point for true designer eyewear. I also admire how the Laoun family are patrons of the arts and host several cultural activities. Lastly, I would like to share my appreciation of serving me on appointment during the height of the pandemic. They did not abandon their clients!

Best place for service. My Vuarnet Glacier glasses have needed numerous repairs over the years and I always bring them here. I can literally walk in off the street with no appointment, no phone call, explain whats wrong and the tech fixes them in 20 minutes for no charge. If that's not the best service ever I don't know what is. In addition to the excellent service they have a very nice boutique, great selection of glasses and fantastic staff. I recently got a new eye perscription, and as serendipity would have it, as we were headed to the art museum, we made a detour into Geroge Laoun Opticien's door. There I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica who excitedly showed me the amazing Francis Klein section...it was such a great experience to see so many great frames! After choosing one, Jessica took a great deal of time to measure the frame for my face and for my prescription. I never had anyone take so much time in measuring exactly and reassuring me that this frame would work out perfectly. We came back to our home in North Carolina and I want to tell you how very thrilled I am with my new glasses. All of the time that Jessica spent with me, her professional, gentle manner, all meant so much. I never had such a great experience and such a high quality of lense in this amazing frame. I wanted to tell you that you about the great optical technician, Jessica.
