After checking the closing times & their website, two of us went there around 4.30pm. We were hoping to buy our spectacles, if they have any that we like. But, we were shocked to find the rudest & laziest Salesman that we have ever seen in our lives. There was no any customer in that showroom & this big-headed guy was just sitting on a chair doing nothing. Yet, he yelled at us when we just asked if it is possible to see some frames to buy. He was uttering in the rudest way possible to say that he can’t show anything or do nothing unless we have booked appointments in advance, irrespective of ample availability at the time without any other customer to be served. To our amazement, not a single customer was noticed in that showroom for more than an hour, until we left Loblaws around 6.00 pm after buying our groceries. He just told us to come next day at 1.00pm if we want his service or buy spectacles, despite the fact there was nothing mentioned about advance appointments in the website. The closing time of that Optical was 7.00pm & we were wondering what was his job, just idling there like a showpiece doing nothing? Why Loblaws employed such a useless guy like that just to yell & idle without accommodating customers when possible? Is there any logic in insisting an advanced appointment, when ample time is available to idle?
