Lenses are of a low quality. I have 3 pairs of glasses and the lenses are scratched on all 3. I've warn glases all my life and never seen a pair that damage that easily. Pearl vision was much better years ago before they got bought out by the U.S. or whoever bought them. I'll never go back.

My family has been going to Pearle Vision in Hazeldean Mall for decades. I recommend them for service above and beyond. Several times over the years we have turned up with broken glasses, and had them repaired on the spot either free or for a nominal charge - even in time for the soccer game. We will always go there.

It's amazing to be living in 2018, where a store's website is not representative of their available services. Booked an appointment through their online system, received several "confirmed" notifications through email and text, yet when I walked into the store, I was told the doctor is not available. The best part? I was told by their own employee that the site needs to be updated. Please don't provide an online service if it's very misleading.

I went to Pearle Vision 2 years ago for new glasses, i was very satisfied that i was able to get 2 designer frames for the same price that another company would have charged for one designer and one cheaper frame. Ordered the glasses, my pair of lenses were somewhat off, the optometrist conducted another exam and adjusted my prescription for free. Pearle Vision sent away my glasses for new replacement lenses, when i received them they were perfect. Very satisfied, they are busy so you have to be prepared to wait while they assist other customers.

Went in to try out some glasses, the experience was terrible. After the same sales people asked me if they could help me no less than six times (desperation) I settled on a pair that I liked, then the real pain began, the salesperson was treating me like a dimwit explaining completely useless internal information for almost an hour, it really seemed like I was the very first client they ever served, getting lost and frustrated with their computer, and overall getting annoyed with ME the CLIENT, my wife and I were so put off that I made up an excuse to get out of there and purchased the same glasses where I could get competent service. I would recommend shopping elsewhere.

I ordered glasses from this location Aug.4. I was told it would be 7-10 days, maybe sooner. Well today is Aug. 18th and I still don't have my glasses and haven't heard from the store that there is a problem or not. With all the eye wear retailers in Vancouver you would think service would be the hallmark of success. Apparently this is not the case with Pearlvision. Would certainly not recommend this company.

Great service, but the lens are not so......... I have had 2 pairs of glasses from this location for just over a year and have been regretting ever since. I'm not sure what their lens process is but it is near impossible to clean my glasses even with a spray or lens wipes. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

Amazing customer service! Super nice Amandeep helped find the right fit and suggest the best options for lenses etc. They also offered a two for one price sale at the time of my purchase. I bought two frames and lenses for the price of one (lenses included!). With my health coverage I only paid ~$200 for two sets of fantastic glasses! Great selection and service. Walked in from a neighbouring competitor who I used two years previous as their service had dropped and their selection was poor. The had COVID protocols in place that still allowed me to try on glasses with the knowledge the samples were safe. Jinus was respectful of my time taking all the required information emailing me later the paperwork later once everything was filled. Just picked up the frames from Ken and the high level of customer service continued. See you in two years!!

They refused to provide me with my own pupillary distance after I decided to shop elsewhere. First glasses were headache city (prism lenses), second glasses had scratched, chipped and flexed lenses, third glasses were hardly any better than the first and made me feel like I was going cross-eyed immediately after putting them on. I've had new prescriptions before, this wasn't that. I debated giving 2 or 3 stars because they did fully refund me, but intentionally withholding medical information that I paid $140 for doesn't sit right with me. That eye exam cost me money, I should have access to every bit of information they collect about my own eyes. Oh, and all that messing around with 3 sets of lenses took 2 months. All that said, Dr Winn was very good. I highly recommend her, just take the prescription and buy online for a fraction of the price.

Pearle Vision is a one stop solution for your eye care needs. We had been to the one at Heartland Town Centre. Got my eye number as well as back of the eye check up because my number is on a higher side. Their staff is very welcoming. Dr Uma was very soft spoken and humble.She explained me well and gave few eye exercises to release eye fatigue. She detected an issue with my husband's eye and immediately booked an appointment for further eye check up. We got our prescription glasses as well as sunglasses done here. They generally take 2-3 weeks time to get it done. They have a good variety and great discounts. They directly bill for most vision insurance plans which makes the process smooth. During covid times, prior appointments are needed.

I purchased a couple of prescription eyeglasses from this location & the service I received was good overall. They had a decent sale at the time which helped in costs. Overall, I found their selection, pricing & value to be slightly better than their neighbours (LensCrafters) around the corner. The only downside was just waiting the few days to receive the glasses but that's common at most places.

He was friendly and helpful along with being professional and knowledgeable. He has the patience of a saint as I must have tried on 50 pairs of frames. He gave great advice and in the end I have an awesome pair of sunglasses that are constantly getting compliments. My eye exam was with Dr. Bhavitra and she was very nice and patient with all my questions and exam. The staff was also very nice and helpful with helping me choose glasses even though I told him I was going to buy online. He was very thorough with explaining everything to me. Except I was going to take a picture of the glasses prices and the lady got a bit mad saying Im not allowed to do that lol. There was no crowd even on a Sunday. However this place doesn't give you pupil distance in case you wanted to buy glasses elsewhere. They do give a copy of your prescription for glasses and contacts. I was allowed to try on glasses and they made sure to disinfect everything after the customers tried on the glasses.

I came here for the first time to have an eye exam. I waited for just over 40 minutes past my booking time to see the doctor. The doctor was very kind and friendly and gave me my first ever prescription for glasses. I was very grateful especially since I've been having headaches every day. I later realized that the prescription didn't include the P.D. measurement, which apparently isn't part of the eye exam. The receptionist let me know that it costs an additional $20 to get the measurement and they would also need to book me another appointment for that. I called another optometrist and they said they would give me the measurement on the spot without a booking, I think it just comes with the purchase of glasses. I am grateful to Pearle Vision for the prescription given to me but it was a little confusing for me since I'm new to getting glasses.

Horrible, Horrible Customer Service! I went into this location (Hillside Shopping Center) to inquire about getting fitted for contact lenses. I spoke to a middle aged man (late 40s) who greeted me with dark, thick framed (ugly) glasses and said he was the "contact lens guy" (no, the irony wasn't lost). When asked about my eyeglass prescription I informed him that it was just over a year old (13 months) but my eyesight was fine. I had my eyeglass prescription with me and I was just interested in a contact lens fitting. He immediately insisted on an eye exam. I then explained to him my last optometrist (who issued my prescription) told me an eye exam wasn't needed to transpose my current eyeglass prescription into a contact lens prescription and only a fitting is required, which was all I wanted. That's when things went sour. He immediately became dismissive and rude, refusing to do a contact lens fitting and accusing me of "jeopardizing his welfare" while pointing at his diploma on a wall, which he seemed arrogantly boastful of. He said he'd lose his license if he fitted me for contacts without imposing a new eye exam onto me, which was nothing more than a cash grab (my last optometrist warned me about that). I was shocked at how quickly his tone became condescending and basically telling me to go somewhere else. He started his excuses on why he wouldn't accept my business, but I simply stood up, firmly thanked him for his time and walked out. I've NEVER been treated with such disregard and contempt for refusing an unnecessary service. After walking out, I went to VISIONS OPTICAL (in the same mall) and the lady there was SO friendly and helpful. She scheduled me in for a fitting and gave ME the option of an eye exam. I opted out (of course) but will go there the next time I need one. THAT is how REAL customer service works. Pearle Vision will NEVER see a dollar of my hard earned money because of the way they treated me. I don't care if he had a bad day, there's NO excuse to treat customers like that.

My wife and I have been going to the Wellington Street location in Kingston since it opened many years ago, and Stephanie is our ‘go-to’ Optician who is always patient, professional, skilled and pleasant to deal with! We trust her to get us not only good prices, but also the best service! Recently, after careful assessment, and adjustments to the new glasses’ nose pads and arms, she decided to send the glasses back to Pearle to get the reading area modified so I would; not have to tilt my head down 15 degrees to get things in focus. I like the frames they have, they are classy, And the service is good, but I've been here for 5 sets of glasses and have had problems each and every time. Manufacturing scratches under the coatings, bad prescriptions, replacement lenses that also have bad prescriptions or different lens types with different coatings. This isn't necessarily this stores fault, they are good people that try to make things right, and they aren't the ones manufacturing the lenses, but I'm still upset.

I dropped in today to have some adjustments made to my fifty (50) year old glasses! Trevor, the store manager took about 1/2 hour of his time to fiddle around with the two pairs that I had brought in and did an excellent job in solving the problem that I had with them. I was very surprised when he declined my offer to pay for his time - even when I insisted (I mean COVID is really hurting these small shops!). Anyway, I really appreciated the gesture and also felt that he would provide good advice when I am looking for new frames. Highly recommended!!!!

Probably the worst place to shop for glasses. Firstly overpriced frames, an easy google search can find you 200 dollars cheaper for the exact frame. Second overpriced lenses, how in the world can you charge people 280 dollars for lenses? In Bonlook you can buy frames and lenses for 140 dollars or better yet a different place they charge 80 dollars for lenses. How are these people still in business? The older woman, maybe the manager said Its illegal to buy glasses online.... sure lady. Go to zenni optical and look at those prices. Tldr: overpriced and bad service

1)Went to purchase my new glasses Michelle helped me pick some out was good from the start 2)I had to call to see if my glasses were in as it been 3 weeks 3) Jason took me and got me all fitted. 4) Within 2 weeks lenses were off so I called to set up an appointment & Michelle took me, I explained to her the progressive were off as I was taking them off to read, turning my head & lots of blurriness she took the new glasses re-checked the measurements. She told me everything was in place is to go back to my eye doctor. Michelle was rude because I came 30 mins early told me I have to go by the schedule but took me in anyways, her rudeness & services was unpleasant. 5) I went to see my eye doctor , went back to Pearle Vision with another eye prescription and a note this time I requested Jason. Wow I am so happy Jayson found the issue he checked my old glasses to see where the progressive measure was and he requested I get my new lenses progressive moved up more. The day I picked them up WOW it's prefect I can see so much better without turning my head, taking my glasses off and tilting my head back. Jayson also tighten them as well. The staff are very good at providing recommendations so you don’t have to try out every single pair in the store and will steer you in the right direction if you have specific needs. Great customer Service!!! I went in last week to the Mavis Rd location to get three glasses tightened around the ears. When I walked in the door, I was met by Aqsa. She took my glasses and was able to make them feel more comfortable to wear so they wouldn't fall off. Now that we all have to wear masks, adding glasses into the mix doesn't help. Aqsa was able to get me out within 5 or so minutes, leaving me with three glasses that now don't fall off. Service with a huge smile (even though I didn't see her pearly whites because of her mask). A great place overall to get new glasses.

Hands down the best service I have ever received at an eye care centre. I have been to a lot of different places (having worn glasses my whole life) but I have never had better experience than at this location. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. I had the young guy and girl help me the last few times I visited. They were even able to locate a pair of glasses I found at another shop just by a picture. I have shopped around to majority of the stores in the area and the price is practically the same if not a bit cheaper, but the customer service is really what makes this place stand out. My second time purchasing glasses here (4 pairs total, no issues with any of them). I have also had an eye exam here and the doctor was lovely. HIGHLY recommend this location.

Can't say enough good things about this place. I took a prescription from a different optometrist to them and purchased two pairs of glasses. When I got my glasses I noticed my vision wasn't right. Turns out my prescription was wrong and I ended up needing to replace the brand new lenses with my proper prescription. The staff was excellent (I dealt with 3 different ladies all of whom were amazing) and they replaced the lenses free of charge as the warranty at Pearle Vision covered incorrect prescription. My son and I both purchased prescription glasses here. We were helped by Manjit and Amandeep, both are amazing and go way above and beyond. They looked at our prescriptions and noted certain frames that would not work as well as others with full explanations of why. At the 'other' store in the mall, they didn't provide any expertise to match frames to our prescriptions. The other store directed me to the most expensive lens options, where Manjit was honest about what I needed and did not need to spend money on. And the glasses came so fast. You will save money and have a great experience with this really knowledgeable and honest team!

First time went to this place. Went inside as a new customer , was delighted by the customer service. Mohamed knew what he was doing, showed everything nicely, he was always explaining the glasses, the pricing, never forcing me , he even gave me a discount. Insurance claim went through in minutes, was impressed. The eye exam was done by Dr. Bhavithra, she really knows her stuffs well, and explaining nicely as she does her eye exam. Very comprehensive, and you understand what the staff are doing for you. The glasses will be ready within 7-10 business days , since i got regular pair of glasses + sunglasses. Very professional and rapid service, would highly recommend people to go there again. Wish they had bigger selection of glasses model. But i loved the models i got.

I have been wearing glasses ever since I can remember and when I got my glasses at Pearle I could not see properly. I informed the staff and they told me "get used to them." I tried to get used to them and almost fell down the stairs. I went back to optometrist and had my eye re-examined. He did not see much wrong with the prescription. Went back to Pearle for a second try and they got it wrong again. This time they made excuses and told me that I couldn't wear plastic frames (even though the last two pairs of frames I had were plastic). Then they tried to tell me that I had to downgrade in the quality of my lenses. Now, I am not an optometrist but how does downgrading in lens quality help you see better. I was appalled at all the excuses they were making!! :((

I wound up buying a pair of custom sunglasses frames and they had them ready so quickly. They cleaned the lenses when I picked them up and were so happy to serve me. I asked for a print out of my prescription and i was repeatedly asked why I needed it. I had a horrible experience, my questions were answered very inappropriately, I felt like I was being argued with, my questions weren't answered and i was told that they will not give me non prescription contacts because they will be liable if i am in a car accident, I simply asked to get coloured contacts to wear under my glasses because i like the look better. They would not let me even order prescription contacts and fought me about want my prescription. I felt like i was being interrogated for wanting to know the prescription for my glasses, I had the most horrible experience and I will never go there again, I knew the guy that worked there from high school so i asked how he was and told him where i knew him from because he didn't recognize me and he called me a stalker, if this is how you treat your customers I will let everyone know because not only was your employee yelling at me, I was called a stalker and interrogated as to why I wanted my prescription. If I could rate you lower than one star I would, you don't deserve stars after that experience and treatment to a customer that has been buying glasses there for 5 years

As others I was told I need to let my eye adjust to the glasses. Unfortunately I have to sit 16" away from the monitor of my computer in order to see right. That is not the case as it is around 12" and a small window of view slightly off to the left of center. So I have to tilt my head and lean forward right out of my chair just to see the middle of the screen. Either way my word was not taken that they were not correct for me to even try. I told them I would bring them back and waste time I don't have to waste. More money out of my pocket and risk to health in these days. However, My driving glasses were good and did the trick. That is why a 2 instead of a 1.

My son had broken the nose piece off a few months after we bought our glasses there. I was finally able to get in to the store 45 mins b4 my wife needed to be picked up for work. They explained it was not covered. I had brought my son's other pair with me that were in good shape except for the lenses which were scratched. The employee did offer to change the lenses for me which was great! He took both pairs and I asked if it was ok to take my son to eb games which is right across. He is 13 and had some games to trade in. I was told no problem and said I would be right back. I came back and stood there for 10-15 minutes waiting to pick up my sons glasses while he dealt with someone else. When I finally interrupted due to having to give myself enough time to go get wife. I then realized he had not touched the glasses due to the fact I left the store. He had moved on to next customer. I know he was being helpful to fix my sons glasses but if he said he was going to do something he should have. Good customer service like dealing with what he said he would do before moving to next person in store. If I had stood there i am sure he would have done it first. I shouldn't have to stand over him...I have 3 kids I shouldn't need to do it to get proper service. Wasted my time which like most I don't have much of. I may go back and give them a chance to redeem themselves. Will post after with results. Not a good first impression

If I could give 0 I would. Called a week ahead of my scheduled appointment, ensuring they could direct bill my insurance. Get there. Take all my info, take my insurance card. Inform me that they aren't quite set up yet to direct bill and I can pay upfront and be reimbursed. Trying to get reimbursed for something is always significantly time consuming and lengthy and I shouldn't have to fight to be reimbursed when I was told they could direct bill. I went to this location to have an eye exam last week. The receptionist was good but not the doctor. I was helped by Dr. Kamila Duplak. I must say she isn't one of the pleasant doctors I've had. I have extreme sensitivity to light and eye exams are just torture for me. I hate having bright lights being thrown straight to my eyes. As a doctor, Dr. Kamila should have had tons of us who suffer from extreme brightness and could've been more patient. But I don't know. She was just not making it any easier for me and made me feel bad about myself too for no reason. Every time I closed my eyes due to pain, she would make this face while saying "Well, you need to tell me when you're closing your eyes cause i am trying to check something here" as if i dont know that. Well my point is.. doctors should be able to bear with their patients and be nice too. I dont know if she was just in a hurry at the time bec my appt was at 5pm. I hope that's not it bec that's very unprofessional. Well either way, it was not a very good visit.

Firstly, when staff use "code" to talk about commissions while serving customers it's terrible. There was another customer making a return, and the staff member said to the manager : " it won't come off mine will it, I didn't sell them." I was so shocked - and I felt so bad for the other customer. When it was my turn to get helped, the lady said to me: "I don't know why people buy glasses and then cancel the order. Bought glasses at Pearl Vision in November 2012. Paid over $300 for them, with all of the fancy coatings that come along with these nowadays, figuring that it must be good quality. The scratch-resistant coating started coming off about 2 months ago, creating this tiny annoyance right in front of my left eye. I went to the store to see if they could refund them, and the employee responded that they were over 2 years old, and no. He then proceeded to attempt to pressure sale me into buying a new pair in the latest fashion! Since then, they are 10x worse, with a huge band of worn scratch resistant coating across my lens. My recommendation, do NOT go to Pearl Vision. Another great example of planned obsolescence.

Relentless upsell: this didn't bother me too much given that I don't really have an issue saying 'no', however, when I got my bill I realize I was charged for non-reflective lens coating. I would have said 'yes' to this feature, but it was a little annoying it wasn't discussed. 14-day wait period: I was only informed after I paid that I would have to wait up to 14-days for them to fit the lenses to the frames. This meant I would be without vision for that period of time, since I only had one set of glasses and I was having lenses put into those frames. Again, a bit annoying. Broke my frames: I provided Pearle Vision with my own frames, and after 10-days they notified me that they had broken them. It is their policy that if you provide your own frames and they break them, they are not accountable. They offered to sell me frames, to which I declined, and after several phone calls they did agree to give me my money back. In all, do business at Pearle Vision if you really like there in-house frames (though their selection is limited), and you're willing to wait 14-days, but do not bring them your own frames because if they break them they are not responsible.

I am very pleased with the service I received at Pearl Vision. I had not made an appointment to look at frames but was able to try frames after a short wait. The young lady who helped me was excellent in bringing frames that may suite. Once I had decided what I wanted, the paperwork was done, questions were answered and I would get a call within two weeks. Eight days later my glasses were ready, an appointment was made for the following day. Once again the service was excellent. The glasses were adjusted to fit properly and I was on my way. I would definately recommend Pearl Vision to friends and family.

Tonight was truly excellent customer service. Thank you Not impressed with service over the years. This year is the worst. I thought I'd save time by picking out my frames before my eye exam. I had them set aside and had them priced out. My exam was 2 days later. Went to drop off my prescription and was told they misplaced my frames. So wasted another 30 minutes looking for new frames. A week later it was ready. Went tonight to pick up to find out that they made 2 of the same sunglasses. I had ordered sunglasses and regular. So now I just picked out my 3rd pair. Talk about a waste of time.

Complete miserable experience there. They just try to get the most money out of you before ripping you off. Spent 600$ and they force you to pay 100's more for waranty, or you don't get your glasses fixed when they break. And the quality of lenses at Pearle Vision is the worst quality I've had in my 20 years of wearing glasses. They are supposed to be scratch proof but have scratched more than any pair I've worn before.

I really have to share my experience. I had to go to this store five times. I ordered two pairs of sunglasses. The quality of the products and the service was very disappointing for me. Somebody wrote a comment in the reviews that they sell a knock of products. I think I have to agree. It was a really good deal for the sunglasses- buy one get one for free. Unfortunately, the first pair that arrived the lenses were not flashed properly into the frame, so I had to wait another two weeks. But the lady called me back saying she repaired it? The second pair of sunglasses arrived but the colour of lenses were wrong. Again I had to wait another two weeks. The first pair was fine but the second pair of sunglasses when it arrived I realized the frame was cracked! I had to wait again another two weeks. When the sunglasses arrived the lady was saying she is confused doesn’t know the order and is not sure if it’s correctly done as the label was still attached on the frame and she was saying it was supposed to be not attached. I am guessing they used a frame from the display... Anyways, it turned out to be fine but at home I realized that the frames are super scratched and decided to not deal with this location anymore. I just kept the sunglasses. I said many times to the manager and to the staff that I am very disappointed with what is happening, that every time there is something wrong with my order, but I didn’t even hear sorry or thank you from them. I’ve spent around $700. As well, during Covid they request to call in and schedule a pick up. But whenever I was calling this location nobody was picking up the phone... probably their excuse will be Covid...

I was there for a medical eye exam and two staffs from Pearle vision were chatting with each other and laughing very very loudly while I was being tested. Very inappropriate environment for the $120 eye exam. Please be mindful of others. Some people have serious eye conditions and a little peace and quiet would be nice during a medical eye exam. * Update: Unable to get a hold of this office to transfer my test results to my physician. I was hoping they could take my constructive feedback, but I guess not. E mail was not answered & Call ended suddenly after ringing.

Markups and costs are high compared to other stores in Kingston. I was quoted almost $800 for a pair of prescription eyeglasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. This was supposedly a "2 for 1 deal". The salesperson attempted to pressure me into buying polarized lenses but wouldn't explain why I should buy them over plain old UV protection lenses. He told me the latest scientific research says that blue light lenses do help people protect themselves from blue light effects (the science has actually been inconclusive). He also wouldn't answer me on how much it would cost for them to install lenses if I brought in my own frames. He talked over me a lot as well which I hope he didn't feel comfortable doing because I'm a youngish female? Anyway I felt taken advantage of, so I left to go to another store downtown, where I ended up saving myself $150 on the exact same two pairs of glasses *with* polarized lenses!! Even though I had to special order/import the frames I liked at Pearle in from the US and buy the lenses at the other shop separately!! I don't think my experience there was the owner's fault, I think it was the salesperson's approach -- he's probably new and needs training on how to be decent to customers while working on commission. IMO he needs to understand the value of loyalty from service with integrity and of positive word of mouth. It bothers me when someone tries to take advantage of me, I'm an entirely financially independent woman. I do understand that some eyeglasses stores invest more in selection and marketing so they may charge more, but I don't agree with the salesperson being evasive, not answering my questions and trying to pressure me into expensive options (without even informing me of my options!). I called Pearle this afternoon to give this feedback but there was no answer so I'm leaving this review. Two stars because the store does have a great selection of designer glasses. The optometrist next door is great, however!

I have been wearing form 10+ years and never have experienced this. I bought pair of glasses Burberry brand, Guy at the mall( do not know his name)adjust it nicely and everything was okay. When I wore that glasses next day it was loose again and whole day at work I have to keep pushing it back. I god bad red mark on my nose and it’s really painful. Today I spent whole day at work without glasses and I have to sit 9 hours in front of computer. I had bad head ache and pain in my eyes. That was the reason I bought glasses. I received a follow up call today so I explained everything to the lady on phone she said come in we will see the glasses or give you one time exchange. I went there today and same guy who adjust my glasses before was there. So I explain him nicely whole situation and he said no problem I will adjust it again today. I said okay. I asked him what if this happen again and He said come back then I will adjust it again. I told him I can not come everyday to get my glasses adjusted. He said glasses need adjustment I just adjust my glasses before you came. I said to him I understand that but I just got adjustment 2 days before and am here again. Glasses don’t need adjustment every other day. I been wearing glasses whole my life. His answer was, Yes!glasses do need adjustments and also depend how I wear them. He kept on saying that come back if it loose again and argue with me. I bought this galsses and pay premium price and been though nothing but pain and got poor customer service when I complaint. Please do your research before you buy from this place.

This was my first time doing business with Pearl Vision and for what I needed, they were perfect. I had recently had an accident at home and I had broken my eyeglasses. I needed them for work so on the advice of my significant other, I took them here. The service was seamless, flawless and affordable. All they needed to do to get them back in good working order was to re-string the right side lens and adjust the nose pieces. Total cost for this was $20 even. Couldn't believe how quick the job got done and how affordable it was. If I ever need anything glasses related again in the future, I will come back here.

Purchased my new glasses from Pearle Vision Avalon Mall and the service was great. My two pairs of glasses fit perfect and the vision is fantastic. The service was the best I have ever received and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be back the next time I need glasses.

I was dreading the whole thing as I never know what looks good and what doesn't but the store manager Ken was so helpful and helped me pick out the perfect frame. Horrible services...From A to Z....Prepaid very expensive glasses that what supposed to be in within 3 to 14 days....30 days now and still counting with all the apologies and excuses that you can imagine!.... But yet, they have my money and I'm without glasses... Out of there!

I absolutely loved their service up until today. I feel I was scammed into purchasing extra insurance on my glasses lenses. Not only did I pay extra for the special insurance, they are telling me that I cannot get my lenses replaced even though that is what the special insurance covered until my prescription renewal.

I've shopped at this location for over 5 years now and Ken, the store manager and the rest of his team are always amazing to deal with! They made recommendations based on my prescription to make sure that I would be happy with them in the long run. I just picked up my new progressives a few weeks ago and I'm so happy that he took the time to explain how they work and the adjustment period with a new prescription. I can wear them all day long without issues, it's so nice to give my eyes a break from contacts. I will be recommending this location to my family and friends as well.

I came here for the first time to get myself a new pair of glasses for work. I had never gotten a full eye exam done so Dr Tayal did it for me. What seemed to be a regular eye test for me turned out to be way more serious. Dr Tayal noticed something on my right eye. He took photographs to confirm his doubt and diagnosed me with possible melanoma in my right eye. I didn't know what it was or what that meant but he not only took his time to explain to me what it was but immediately called and arranged for a senior ophthalmologist to see me right away. It was a long weekend with not many specialists available but he wrote me a note and sent me to the ER at trillium. He didn't waste any time and went over and beyond to make sure I was not delayed a consultation for after the long weekend. He and the entire team at the clinic took such good care of me, got me water, sat me down, gave me tissues and consoled me as I broke down with the news. They even let my brothers come in and be by my side and Dr Tayal explained to them also what my situation was. Dr tayal and his team also followed up with me the next day to know what the ophthalmologist had to say. Dr Tayal, if you and your team are reading this, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the diagnosis, for going above and beyond to make appointments for me, for the time, patience, follow-up and kindness you all extended towards me during this hard time! I will be back for my glasses once this is sorted. THANK YOU!

Not only did the lady working make sure that I was the only one in the store (due to COVID-19) but she was very helpful with picking out the right frames. Next, Ross is always super nice!! I can officially say that I am a repeat customer. 2 years ago was my first visit, and just recently had my 2nd visit. Ross was fantastic both times in helping me select the best frames and assist with my billing company and it's new procedures. Extremely quick turn around time in receiving my frames,too! This is the worst glasses shop you can ever be in. From manager to staff, everybody is extremely rude and will attack you personally as soon as you question their product. The entire time i was there, i felt i was being interrogated. Paul and Tracey are very good at blame you for their own work. Very passive aggressive people. If you want to shop for a pair of glasses and sit there with Tracey for an entire hour watching her fill your "pamphlet" and scratch her head trying to figure out the price multiple times, this is the place to go. Again, this is my personal experience, you might experience other things. But every time i walked by this shop in the mall, there are always miserable customers sitting there, you can tell they are regretting their choices, but too polite to say they changed their mind and they want to shop somewhere else. RUN guys, it's just not worth the money or the time.
