I've bought glasses a month ago for my 5yrs old. Last week he lost the screw on one side and the young lady i dealt with was so nice, she said it's simple & fixed it. My second visit, different woman, she said I would have to buy another fram because she can take the broken screw out. I said how about the warranty she said it's only for factory defects. I said that wasn't what I was told when I bought the glasses and she said it's like car warranty. Vehicle warranty is better than their warranty. In my case I would have to buy a fram in less than two months. I asked for her to give me the screw for myself to fix it. She said it takes a lot time to find a right one and she was very annoyed. I got the screw out which would have cost me $300. I would hate to go back there again. The eye Dr is good but I'm sure that is not the place to buy glasses for kids.

They charge a 30 dollars for a pair of contacts that are supposed to be sample only. They make you pay up front to order contacts. This company made me decide to get lasik. Thanks for always taking my money though.

Took my glasses back here to get fixed (no pieces broken just the hinge popped out), lady at the counter takes one look at them and says they cannot be fixed and that I "will have to buy new ones because my warranty is up". Being $400 frames I didnt buy that answer for a second so I took them home and looked up a youtube video on how to pop the hinge back in and VOILA my glasses are like new again. Avoid this business! Staff at the front desk are unknowledgable about products and unwilling to help.

Visited: July 6th, 2019 @1.35pm. The worse lady on the optometrist desk is very rude, unwilling to help when asked about contact lenses and she had a big unprofessional attitude.

They were so accommodating and everything went smoothly. I booked an appointment a week earlier, then they called me a day before my appointment to remind me. Dr. Shen was so calm, and he was also really polite and friendly. Thank you!

This is the first time I've needed glasses, and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by selection and price. However it was a dream picking out a pair here. I didn't feel pressured to buy, the whole thing was very stress free. Customers service was amazing, a prime example of why you should shop local.

I have always had a positive experience at this place. This is my go to Optometrist in Ft. McMurray. They always get me in right away if I have any concerns about my eyes. And the Doctor/Receptionists are very positive and accommodating.

Lady wouldn’t order piece to fix my oakleys because I didn’t purchase the glasses there. I explained my benefits roll over and I will soon be looking for new frames and glasses. She told me to super glue my glasses in the meantime and wouldn’t fix them. I tried to support this local business and they turned me away.

I had bought a pair of safety glasses here and needed help to switch out the foam-backed support back to the original. I thought it would be a good idea to have some one here to show me how to do this, so that I don't accidentally damage anything. I spoke with a lady that worked here and instead of showing me how to change out the part, she takes my glasses to the back and just forcefully gauged some tool into at my glasses until they looked like this. Who does this? Then when I confronted her about this, she has the nerve to say that these interchangeable parts were never meant to changed out. What I can't show with these pictures is how much she deformed one of the mounts one the frame because she jammed the original bridge into the glasses to try to show me that it wasn't a concern and that I'm making a big fuss out of nothing.

Went there few days ago to fix my glasses. The staff were very helpful and polite. The lady that took my glasses was sooo helpful, I believe her name was Beth. She was much help. When I picked them up they were perfect and didn’t even charge me for it. Awesome place awesome service. Keep rocking

The gal I dealt with today (her name was either Kim or Beth. I'm awful with names) was so lovely and so helpful! I had a great experience today purchasing glasses. I would go back just to hang out with her! I also got my eyes examined here too and Dr. Theng was great! I would highly recommend The Eyewear Place.

Hello I recently made a purchase here and was told that there would be a new pair of glasses ordered and what took over a month to find out was that it was just the lenses as the glasses were discontinued so after the fact I got the new lenses and asked if there would be any discount for the fact that I was lied to and not given any discount for any amount for the glasses and the answer way no just plain flat out no so just a heads up for future shoppers I’d take my business elsewhere to a more appreciative place that cares about return business thanks for your time

Was is the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t even give them one star. I’ve never felt so missed treated in a store in all of my life. Sad because my son broke his glasses and he really needed a new pair but we weren’t good enough to be in the store.
