Good and friendly service overall except for the one time I had my hair cut at their salon. The price included a wash but it seemed that the old lady was reluctant to do so. She ended up just rinsing my head without any shampoo. I will surely not get my hair done at this location again.

( The Absolute Worst Customer Experience at Walmart Dart Xing ) Purchased a Gas BBQ for $266.00, When I attempted to put it together but the all bolts and a support bracket were missing from the box! It appeared the BBQ was already purchased & return without Walmart checking the product. Malcolm a Walmart manager made me wait for well over an hour because I didn't I my receipt. Malcolm found my purchase in the computer but instead of doing his job he made me wait for another 30 minute just because he can!! Several times this Malcom was laughing in my face until I lost it, I asked what the blank are you laughing at?? I've been waiting for over 60 mins while you have all the info to process the return. Nope he couldn't do that, instead he tells me to return the BBQ at the C.H, store after waiting over an hour. He thought it was funny as he told me this. I told him I know what your doing you come across easy going and helpful but its just an act trust me!!! It was nearly 90 minutes when he comes out and says I can only refund 199.99 because he didn't believe I paid the 266.00! Malcolm had already found the purchase date and knew it was purchased at C.H. Walmart all he had to do is make one phone call!! Instead he made me wait another 25 minutes!! I eventually received 199.00 debut and the rest on a Walmart cart. I told him it would be a cold day in hell before I shopped at another Walmart, then a women behind the counter yelled at my back " That's fine we us"! Spend your money anywhere but Walmart because they zero respect for their customers. I had a 90 minute wait for nothing, the Afro-American Malcom made me wait all that time because he could, Period & still attempted to screw me on my refund by only refunding 199.00 not the 266.00. He laughed as I walked away then the other employee added her opinion. Aug 2nd 2020

Very nice plaza, but shady neighborhood. Black market sellers approach you while looking for parking. Walmart has very nice staff, probably nicest I have ever seen in Walmart, but a lot of the food and cosmetics packaging is damaged. People just come in, open products, eat some and then leave it like that. It is a bit gross. Also, one must be careful with cosmetics products as customers simply open products take half of it out and leave. I have seen that happen before, but never to this extent.

Fantastic staff. I purchased a large item here that had to be partially disassembled. The store manager was excellent. He made sure I had lots of help with taking it apart and loading it in my car. The gentleman who took it apart and helped me load it in my car is very friendly and helpful. Great experience with the store manager and staff. Thank you!

5 associates or customer experience employees had absolutely no idea what slime was or how to even look for it. I'm mean I was met with a laugh an "I don't know" and a walk away. The costumer service desk was extremely unhelpful and put customer experience at about 6th on the list .... Maybe it's my fault for actually expecting bare minimum service. Most notable conversation: Employee: sorry we don't have anyone in customer service at the moment Me: What does that tag on your vest say? Employee: umm customer service manager. Me: looks like you're the guy

Buyer beware, while walking through the store looking for a few things I notice these 2 coolers, both well above the safe storage temperature. I mentioned it to a staff member, who asked me what I wanted him to do about it and I say do something about it, as it is not safe.

You really get what you pay for here. They're really good for price matching an item your hunting for, and their grocery prices aren't half bad. Just keep in mind that if you buy produce that it tends to go bad a little quicker than what you'd buy a grocery store or famers market.

You can expect to find just about everything you need under one roof at this store. Be sure to give yourself time to get through the store and choose between two self checkout areas with staff greeting you and cleaning checkouts between customers and checkout areas with friendly staff waiting for you.

They shut down a self checkout section so we were stuck in lineup for 1 hour. It should be a priority to get us in and out. Covid is spiking again. Bottle necking us all in line for an hour is awful. And manager would not address it. Have him on recording telling me I was wrong for thinking this. Hope Health Canada sees this.

Crazy busy. Just wish they would keep the main aisles open and not full of stock and clutter. Mobility challenged using cart/scooter/ wheelchair can not get thorough in some areas. This is a huge safety factor as far as I am concerned as it would not be easy egress in the case of an emergency.

Tire and Lube - The guy on the front desk taking orders in for tire change- Tim - really needs to change his attitude. Called customer service and said it's a first come, first serve. They also have a sign under the table saying the same thing about customer will be taken in first before an appointment and he just didn't understand and was acting all weird about it. They keep telling me that I have to book an appointment and the customer service was not the people to talk and should talk to him. You all need to be on the same page.

I've flat out watched an employee stand next to a phone and ignore it while he had no other customers, he just stood there doing nothing. By far the worst Walmart I’ve ever shopped in Canada and the US. This was a Sunday at 530pm store was wide open and full of customers. I completely understand you need to stock shelves, but when it impacts your ability to even shop or walk down into a department. This was Girls clothing, and my 3rd attempt this week to shop here.

Was a little put out on Thursday, when I went in. Went to get antifreeze during my lunch hour, store wasn't very busy. I assumed I would be in and out in minutes. Call came over the PA system that the debits are down. Now, don't get me wrong, I know this is a privileged first world problem, but whatever. Had to stand in line for 15 minutes for what seemed like the slowest cash machine in the world. (Only had one, as well.) Cost me $2.79 to take a twenty out of this machine. So there, you got two stars. Give me my 2.79 back and we can chalk it up to a wasted lunch hour and I'll give you two stars back.

Poor toy selection. Sales clerks around the store hard to understand. We could not understand what the voice on the loudspeaker was saying. One clerk didn't understand what we were asking for (a doll crib) and showed us assorted toys on what looked like her phone. Prices missing from items and scanners are few and far between. Pleasant check out clerk so that is the only reason I am giving any stars at all.

It's a Walmart. Certain things are to be expected, like getting the stink eye from a customer in their pj's. But that's not Walmart's fault. They can however do something about the signs in their grocery aisles. Depending on what direction you're looking the signs can say something completely different. I do not like shopping at Walmart. I avoid it at every corner but sometimes you need to research affordable options, they are good for having an affordable alternative.

Was scheduled for an interview, manager who scheduled didn't show. Two male hiring managers asked a young teen girl applicant how old she was and were insistent she tell them. When I arrived early to interview was treated like they had no idea who I was and called a walk in, I was not. Tried to give me job position unrelated to the position I actually applied for. Asked interview questions completely unrelated to the position I applied for. Expected me to reapply while AT the interview for the position I already applied for. Poorly managed and run walmart with high turn over for obvious reasons. If you're looking for a job better off looking elsewhere. Shopping here is the same as any walmart, staff bring nothing special to the table you can't find better at sobeys or superstore

i go here all the time as I like saving money. But this store is sad, mens washroom have been broken for a year. Shelves are half empty. Most of the time they don't even stock great value water, not in the 24's anyway. Staff are very angry and unhappy for the most part. I don't buy anything frozen as it will be thawed by the time you get through the long lines. I went shopping 2 days ago and there were so many products missing off the shelves I had to return today to complete my shopping. There was not one cart to be had anywhere in the store. I asked the greeter and he was yelling at a customer and pushing a cart at him across the entrance at least 20 feet away. That was enough for me, I went to No Frills and spent my money there. Don't go to Walmart they do not care about customers at all.

Walmart is the best place to shop for general wares in New Liskeard, though I must admit Im having some problems with it. I absolutely hate that they expanded self checkout when a lot of the time I just wanna pay with cash, and it leaves employees with less jobs! (I assume they did this as a result from being short staff as I've heard they were looking for employees before this) They added a temptation isle in order to get to the checkout which I find personally disgusting as it shows how far this Walmart is willing to go to milk their customers. I understand it from a business perspective but that doesn't make it right. On the plus side, their electronic department has been very helpful with helping me find a potential new phone and the clothing is quite nice here and there.

Parking has never been an issue in the plaza. Mostly friendly and knowledgeable staff, they're fairly good at pointing me to the exact place where the products I look for are located. The products have been in great order, I hardly ever see anything misplaced on the shelves. They're also pretty cheap, but quality items; I tend to buy more than I think I need. The issues come when you try to return things; it's not that it's too hard to, but the staff working that desk don't appear as friendly as the ones walking around, and I find myself thinking the issue is with me, rather than my product - this might be the only location that asks me why I'm returning something, rather than simply taking it back and giving me a refund or exchange. The area around the McDonalds in-store seems rather random; it quite frankly doesn't seem like it ought to be there. It doesn't seem as clean and the lighting (or the choice of flooring and furniture) appear to be a bit darker than what I'd call 'warm'. In all, I recommend this location.

The employees really do make these type of places. I love the workers. They are so nice and helpful and if you ask where something is they will run around and bring you exactly to where it is. They do work hard here. I've seen disgusting things like big huge, dead houseflies and bugs in grapes marked for clearance. The grapes didn't even look bad, so I can only guess they noticed the bugs and were told to mark them down. I don't know if that's the case, but it made me wonder. That made me gag. I've actually never seen that in any store before. If I buy fruit and veggies here they don't last as long as other stores usually. They do price match and accept coupons which is good and there are fair/good prices here! Honestly though, the workers here are the only reason I gave Walmart the review I gave them as in my opinion, Walmart's just went down hill over the years. Workers get a 5- Walmart needs to do a little better to get back up there.

My experiences with Walmart in NewLiskeard have been 95% of the time good ones. Sometimes the shelves are lacking items, they seem to have problems keeping up with the demands. I find the cashiers work hard and are friendly and kind. Never forget everyone, yes everyone has a bad day once in a while. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars are the self check out machines. I will never use them and if Walmart goes strictly to those machines, I will not use them. Walmart has already lost my on line shopping which was a twice a month, sometimes more order. They changed the delivery rules again a few months back and that was it for me. The reason I liked this shopping experience was because they deliver to the door. I’m a senior without a vehicle and that service was important to me. So I went to Amazon who has as many choices. Sometimes i pay an extra .50 cents but its worth it, AND amazon ships in good sturdy boxes, as well as all liquids are sealed in a plastic bag.

I am a regular customer at the Timmins Store and today I had a really bad experience with the staff ( night manager- kashan( not sure about his name), Caroline)and it hurt me so badly. I saw a toy with a sticker on it for $ 29.97 and it was for pre Black Friday sale and when I went to pay for it, the price on the monitor was 99.97 dollars and I informed it to the associate and thereby the associate called the manager. Both the managers were so rude and mean to me and they were saying that I labelled the toy wrongly to get a reduction. It was totally there mistake and they could even check the CCTV camera before judging me to confirm the mistake. I am totally frustrated with the customer service and being judgemental towards us.if I could put a zero satisfaction, I would do it. I am so disappointed with the situation.

Disappointed that this Walmart doesn't keep rodents under control and stock on certain cat food is not kept up. The stock of cat food they did have had mice poop all over the two bags that were left then got to cash after and found out mice chewed corner of bag. I have health issues and did not have the patience to walk all the way back to see if other bag had no holes. Sad that with all the staff that works there that they cant keep the pet section free of mice .. top it all off had a mouse run through their grocery section never in my life have I seen so many rodent issues .

This incredibly large Supercentre really does embody the word 'Supercentre'; enormous in comparison to most of the local supercentres Walmart has to offer, this location is definitely a must visit if you ever find yourself in the Dartmouth Crossing area. Surrounded by a large variety of shops, and beautifully well kept grounds, this Walmart has a lot to offer its patrons by way of products and customer experience; everything ranging from grocery items to pet products, hair care to baby necessities, if you need it/find yourself wanting it than this Walmart more than likely has it, or can order it in for you with its expansive and marvelous website. Speaking of which, the website itself often has a selection of products contained within that you can not find in the store itself. This specific location is kept very clean and organized, which to the customers pleasent and thankful surprise, includes the usually dececrated and often disgusting washrooms. The staff are almost always friendly (we all run into a Karen every once in a while, unfortunately, anywhere we go), knowledgeable and willing to lend a hand or answer any questions you may have regarding a product or the possibility of obtaining a product they may not currently carry. While often incredibly busy, lineups move fairly quickly and mistakes are usually a rarity. Another hidden gem about this specific location, is the Macdonald's concealed inside its enormous frame; it stands as one of the last Macdonald's in the maratimes that includes a Macdonald's onsite; we'll get to that Macdonald's review at another time. Combining the expansive variety of products the website offers online with the provided products the location has to offer in store, you begin to see why Walmart has become a huge player in the local economy at this point in time and why it has beaten out Zellers, Target and the long established Sears in order to dominate the Dartmouth/Halifax and surrounding areas.

Lost 14 dollars usd by transferring it to canadian. Store employees said it was correct, even when I insisted it was different per the new conversion. It seemed as if it wasn't even converted, since I gave 40 usd for 31 Canadian and got 9 Canadian back. They shouldn't offer conversion if there's that much room for human error. Definitely a great place to come if you need a quick snack, this store has pretty much everything you ever need. Groceries, toys, sports equipment, books and furniture. The prices range from very cheap to moderately expensive, however most things of the Great Value brand you can find for very cheap. Sunday of Black Friday. Staff hopelessly overwhelmed. A fight broke out. None of the staff members knew what to do. Supervisors who showed up didn't know what to do either. The manager who eventually got there didn't have the training to get the situation under control. After the fight was ended, the workers had no help getting the mess of shampoo and conditioner cleaned up. No one was there to help them get the display and shelves straightened up. I could feel their embarrassment. It isn't the fault of the employees. Management and corporate ought to have provided training and support for the staff having to deal with a problem beyond their control.

My truck got hit by an employee named John in the Walmart parking lot. He was using the red machine that pushes all the carts that they pick up in the parking lot. He ran the cart pushing machine into my bumper. There is a massive dent in it now. So I went in to talk to a manager who got all my info and took pictures of the scene. I was told to wait for Walmart's insurance to call me. This was nearly 3 months ago. I have called Walmart back 4 flipping times and gotten nowhere. Nobody wants to help me with this problem. I don't have the money to fix it the problem that Walmart made for me. The big companies continue to hurt the little man. I will be contacting the police next because this is ridiculous. I didn't realize that businesses could have customer service this bad! I'm extremely disappointed and will definitely be taking my business else where.
