Living in Toronto for 10 years, I've come to realize the rarities in finding an establishment that makes you feel like your exactly where you need to be in regards to finding exactly what you've been looking for (or finding something you didn't know you wanted). Coming to Clear Vision Optical & Eyecare Boutique was a whim decision that has ultimately opened my eyes (literally) to the possibilities in retail experiences that are out there in the form of hidden gems, and that while taking a chance on a establishment such as Clear Vison Optical & Eyecare can not only change your entire perception of eyewear and eye exams , but the customer service and tentative care to your specific needs as a unique individual will make you wonder where they have been your entire life! Also, for my LGBTQ+ community, this place not only welcomes us with open arms but also celebrates our diversity by showcasing LGBTQ+ celebrated eyewear brands such as Etnia Barcelona & L.A. Eyeworks, but the store also has a neon rainbow sign right where you're ready to pay for your item! 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for an experience worth your while. I was happily greeted by the owner and walked around all the amazing styles of glasses and fell in love with a very nice frame. I am absolutely disgusted with the service I received. The owner Emiliano doesn't even have license! I've spent over 2000 dollars there and Emiliano is a scammer who wants even more money from me. I had an eye checkup done and decided to get my glasses here. I got a Baus frame and progressive and transition lenses. They claimed that they sold me the best quality frames and lenses. In a couple of months my wife saw that my glasses started chipping. I called and complained and came into the store that is owned my Emiliano and a new employee didn't want to help me and said my warranty is no longer valid. After that I contacted Emilano and he said they'll send the glasses to the lab and fix them and put in a much better material because the first ones were accidentally the wrong material. They said this would take a week but actually took a month and this was so hard for me as I needed my glasses. I had trouble seeing well as I require glasses at all times. When I finally got my glasses they weren't transition but clear lenses. Emiliano recommended that I buy another frame and said he would put in the best polorized sun glass frames. Of course I had to pay for all of that again. I waited a couple of weeks to get the new glasses. Then in a month BOTH of the glasses started chipping. I went to another optometrist for my daughters check up and a clerk told me that the material of my lenses is so cheap and not what I paid for. I then contacted Emilano again. I gave him just one pair of glasses because I needed to keep one with me I could see. Before they sent it to the lab they said the problem was with the frames. When I dropped my glasses off I received a call from emiliano a few days later and he said that people from the lab said I did it on purpose and broke my glasses. Emiliano said I did this on purpose. Then he recommended that I buy a new frame and pay for new lenses. I already spent too much money there. At the end I found out that Emiliano HAS NO LICENSE!!! He is not qualified to make any decisions and has no idea what he's doing. I am not stuck with 2 chipped pairs of glasses and no money to repair them. I wish I never went here!!!!!!

I stumbled upon this place shopping one day for my wife. I wanted to get her a new pair of sunglasses for our vacation. I'm not really into fashion or have a clue when it comes to new styles and designers. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted by Emiliano, he is super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He took the time and showed me so many options, I was surprised at how many styles of sun glasses exist. I was at ease and the shopping experience I had was effortless. My wife is very particular when it come to glasses, but the frames that we selected were not a disappointment. She was very happy, as they say, happy wife happy life. Fantastic experience! From choose the frame, to picking up the frame, everything went perfectly as expected! They have bunch of unique brands and wide frames which arent found everywhere! The nikon lens clarity is unreal! They included extra cloth and complimentary solution on the package which shows an extra finishing touch to the experience! WOW! Amazing atmosphere and wonderful customer service. I have never been to an optical that has paid such attention to small details and patient needs. From when you walk through the doors you are treated like family. I have been wearing glasses and suffering from dry eyes for many years. I could never get the right solution from any Dr's I have seen in the past. Dr. Irene was so meticulous with my exam, she really took the time to go through everything with me to find out the root of my dry eye problems. To boot, it turned out I was wearing the wrong prescription. Moving forward a few months now, my dry eye issues are under control and I have not felt better, I can not describe the relief I have. Their selection of glasses is extensive with many different price points to accommodate anyone's budget. Emiliano was very patient and very informative with the glass frame selection. I'm very picky with glasses and we found a pair that I get constant compliments on. I was treated like family, I HIGHLY recommend you stop by and check them out!

Eyecare and eyewear are some essentials we had to address even during a pandemic. Finding a reliable and safe place to go to however, is extra challenging. That’s why I was fortunate to find this place. The manager, Adrian, is very pleasant and clear in his instructions of their protocols that it made me feel safe and comfortable right away. A (COVID) screening questionnaire has to be filled out before you enter and it’s only 2 customers in the store at a time. Only point your glasses of choice and he will put it in a tray for you. Tried on or touched glasses are sanitized after your session. (Made me feel very safe!) The selection of eyewear was a fun experience. Adrian was so accommodating and warm during the whole process. Not to mention that he has a “good eye” and gives you a good feedback and information about each selection you make. The billing was painless. He directly billed my insurance painlessly, and did not pressure me to pay in cash (not some places I have been to prior to finding this place). The wait time: I was told that since I came before the holidays, that it might take about 3-4 weeks for me to get my glasses. That was fine. But to my surprise, I got a call a little over 2 weeks later that my glasses are ready for pick up! Pick up was also seamless. Adrian already prepared everything for us. He even took the time to show my daughter (first time to wear glasses) how to care and wear it. He also showed us how to get “adjusted” with our “old people lenses”. Overall, it was a safe, comfortable and even a fun experience! Definitely will be recommending this place to friends and family.

When I think of eye glass shopping I don't get excited. That all changed when I made the decision to step away from the ordinary shops I go to such as Hakim and Bonlook. Clear Vision Optical is sleek, modern and so very welcoming. I never feel at ease when going into these types of stores but the tall gentleman - Adrian - made me feel welcome and safe. His quirky vibe and personality made my experience enjoyable. He explained what makes them differ from the big box optical stores and that my eyes will fall in love with the Nikon lenses they use. I looked around for an hour and tried multiple pairs on and was not forced to rush. When I had a few frames Adrian escorted me outside with a mirror so I could see what I would look like without a mask on. I found a pair I absolutely loved and chose the lens be suited for my lifestyle. This was above and beyond an amazing experience and can't wait to let the whole city know how great they really are! The reviews really don't do justice! A++ experience indeed!
