He was very good with children and took the time to explain how my daughter should care for her glasses. In addition, his expertise on lenses was very evident. He is very knowledgeable and great at conveying this in a very understandable way. Finally, we received our glasses very quickly and were very pleased with the final product. My daughter treasures her glasses and cares for them carefully, in part due to the personal touch provided by C Opticians. I cannot recommend this place highly enough - you get what you pay for!

I have known Tony for a number of years now, as I bring all my eyewear concerns to him. I find him to be be personable and knowledgeable. He has a mix of big brand name frames, and really cool high end stuff. I bought a pair of Orgreen frames last time, and the compliments I get are amazing. Just like Tony said. I look great and feel great. I don't know what these negative reviews are about, but it sounds like just negative stuff written by shallow, narrow minded people.They should go to Hakim, and really experience crappy service.

My 7 year old son's Lindberg frames are exceptional (discrete, feather-weight and handcrafted in Denmark). The Nikon lenses came with an Authenticity Card for the blue-light blocking as requested--Transitions feature came with a Certificate of Authenticity. Anyone who wears glasses knows selecting a new pair has its challenges. I have found over 20+ years of wearing glasses finding the go to guy was all taken care when I met Tony from C’s . His ability to select the perfect pair, for a difficult face (lol) is no problem. Over the years, I have upgraded my lenses to the Varilux line and could never go back to standard lenses. The level of service I receive from Tony and his staff is very professional from Selection to product knowledge and best part Is the fantastic after sales service. I am rough on my glasses. Tony has save my glasses so many times from the waste bin. I have checked out the discount stores and when you factor in everything there is not much of a savings, and do you really want to cheap out on something you wear on your face that helps you see clearly?

I bought a pair of sun glasses at this store and after a week of use I realized they did not fit me well. I went back and they happily allowed me to exchange for another pair of a smaller price. They said they would refund the difference and here I am almost 1 month after and still have to keep on calling with no success.

I'm one of those people who doesn't give 100% to anything. The best movie I ever saw was still a 9/10 - but this place is truly outstanding. The entire team went extremely out of their way to help me find a pair of glasses for my 'child-sized' face. The lenses are by far, the highest quality lenses I have ever seen or experienced. I'm now enjoying high-definition vision in my first pair of progressives. Worth every penny. It's nice to see that there are still companies out there who care about the people more than their money.

The owner Tony was a pleasure to deal with. He was humble, approachable, friendly, and took the time to educate me on my options regarding proper lens and gave me the best price for my eye wear needs. He also took the time to thank me for choosing to come in and support his business! His store was small but it was super busy and he took the time to greet people who were either waiting or browsing so that they didn’t feel invisible in the midst of a busy shop. So if you get served by Tony and he “pauses” to talk quickly to another person, don’t be offended but be patient, he is just trying to acknowledge and appreciate each person who walks into his shop :). Absolutely best service, they told me up to 10 business days but I was in a rush for a trip. Tony ( the owner I believe ) personally delivered them to me on a busy Friday (5 days after purchase) to the airport. I don't think I Would get service like this anywhere. Plus they friendly staff.

There is a wide variety of styles to choose from, including unique frames and brands that I have not heard of before. It's amazing how a boutique shop can also carry "regular" frames at a cheaper price. The lenses are much clearer than where I used to go. They custom fit my glasses and adjust them every time I accidentally sit on them aha.

When my dog ate my husbands glasses (haha, it actually happened), Tony jumped right on getting them fixed. He was able to turn everything around basically within a few days. You will get very bad customer service if you ask for a refund as it has been 14 days from the order Mr. Chadha started the conversation by a very demeaning and discriminative comment: " In this country we count workdays not all days,".However the receipt says 14 days and no remarks about business or regular days. I am proudly Canadian and was really offended. Canada is a country for everyone equally and Mr. Chadra should understand we do not discriminate immigrant or not. No more comments needed. Buyer beware no refunds only exchanges even if they did not finish your order on time. You will be issued a credit note to be used at store. Sales representatives are very nice unlike Mr. Chadha.

My wife and I were both needing updated lenses and I needed new frames. We called the store during Covid lockdown and the phone number had been forwarded to the owner him self. Tony gave us a time to come to Sherway mall and the door where security would let us into the closed mall. We were able to get our order taken care of and returned a couple weeks later for our new glasses. These are crazy time - but Tony was so accommodating and helpful with pricing. This store has the BEST of the BEST! If you're hunting for the latest styles, great selection and a range of price points you have to check out this store! They carry all of the big brands like Prada, Tom Ford & Chanel but have a variety of price points, colours and frame options. I have shopped for sunglasses here at least 5 times in the past 2 years and every experience is great. Best service from Diana when I went in recently to buy Chanel sunglasses and the turn around to order in the pair I wanted was only 3 days. Always impressed - highly recommend!

I would give C! Opticians and Tony 10 stars, if that was an option. Tony offers a curated experience to selecting the perfect pair of frames. Buying a good pair of glasses is an investment. Even with a mask on, it's the one part of your face that's always visible. Tony has a passion for what he does and is completely honest when making recommendations. My husband was looking for new frames but didn't have a pair or brand in mind. He simply described what he was looking for and Tony was able to manifest his vision. While telling Tony what he were looking for, I mentioned my husbands broken, and supposedly unrepairable, glasses. Tony suggested I bring them in. Within a week, I had the glasses back in one piece. A pair of $2000 Fred glasses that another optician told me may as well be tossed was now looking as good as new. Needless to say, my husband couldn't have been more pleased to have his favorite glasses back and finding a new gorgeous frame.

Picked up my fifth pair of prescription eye glasses today in Sherway Gardens Etobicoke . Service service service in busy Sherway gardens optics store . Best kept secret in the mall if not all of Etobicoke and Toronto . The owner is hands on and has his team on their game for the best fitting and look they were excellent in their competitive pricing . Really incredible service by Tony and his team in a busy store . A good friend recommend me to them and said be patience they are excellent. They really care for my eye sight Wasnt about my money at all ! I cannot say enough Good things ,5 stars aren’t enough. They won’t take my order for lens and a new pair of glasses . $1300 Sale unless I was scheduled for reexaminations I thought WOW that’s a change. They scheduled and eye exam on site for the next day to confirm my needs were properly met. The resident eye doctor was amazing so circumspect In my examination I was very impressed ,worth every dollar. She found that I needed to tweak up my prescription , what a difference She also coach me on proper eye care Some drops and a lesson of massaging around the eye . I am a tough shopper and love great value a business owner for 35 years . But I love the service too . They got ever note right C! Optics have won a customer for life ! Thank you ????

After years of cheaping out at the usual glasses from the usual stores I finally approached C! Opticians to see what they had to offer. They know their products well and did a great job of helping me find great frames that I loved. Tony helped me pick the best frames for me, the best lenses (which clearly are a huge improvement for my vision and comfort, don't cheap out, get the Nikons, trust me) for me, and even honoured a price that I had gotten wrong that ended up costing Tony out of pocket. I have had no service issues so far but Tony and his staff have done nothing but be helpful and honest. I will definitely go back for my next pair.

Came in today looking to purchase a pair of Cartier frames... Tony asked me what model I was looking for and he was able to show me the ones I wanted to buy. But just out of curiosity I wanted to take a look at other Cartier frames to see if I would like any other ones and he simply closed the drawer with the impression I was going to try and steal them... Horrible first impression and customer service by Tony (the owner)... Very disappointed because I was ready to buy them because not many optical stores even carry Cartier... I walked into the shop to get a new pair of glasses as I broke my old pair. When I consulted the rough price, the salesperson answered, “I don’t know, you tell me...” Seeing my astonishing face he added ”up to your choice, the prices range from 400 up to 700 something” I understand he might be fed up with people asking him questions, but that is not the right way to treat a customer.

In everything... there's is good, better, best. When it comes to eye care... why would anyone settle for anything but the best??? I did my due diligence and looked at all the options in frames at various eye glass establishments so I felt prepared to make a selection. I had a visit with Pearl Vision and another place I can't remember the name of, and an actual appointment with Lenscrafters on the day I thankfully stopped in to see what C! had to offer me. Thank goodness I stopped in to C! Best thing I ever did. Not only was the eye glass selection unique, the great customer service and education I received was outstanding. Lisa was great and Tony was amazing. He explained so much and he earned my trust as a result. Dr. Salazar, the Optician was amazing as well because I had the most thorough eye exam I ever had and she took the time to also explain all the details to me. Need eye glasses? Need good, sound, informative guidance and advice? Run, don't walk and get yourself down to C! Opticians in Sherway Gardens!!!! I found Tony and staff were outstanding and I have never had a better eye glass shopping experience. Thank you C!

Went in yesterday to ask a question for my mom, after she was referred by a family doctor. Asked questions and was helped by a friendly sales person. She was trying to help figure out if it there was coverage through OHIP and to call the next day to confirm. After being told I would be called back in 5 min (was longer). Very rude arrogant man on the phone, claiming to be the boss said they don't figure that information out and to do it myself. Hence why I went to ask questions!!!!! Not only has this place wasted my time but also do not give accurate information and people working there clearly are not trained properly in what they are and are not allowed to do. Unless your going to pay out of pocket and make them lots of money, they wont be nice to you and be rude. Never going back to this place, owner needs to work on training and customer service skills.

This store was great when i went to buy my glasses few years back. They have some unique frames like face a face frames (which is what i bought), however after 2 months i saw couple of big scratches on the lense and when i went back they simply said nothing can be done! I take good care of my glasses so 2 scratch in 2 months is not usual! I currently own another pair from different store for 2 years with no scratches. I paid nearly 500 and got their top of the line lense. Needless to say i never stepped in this store after this incident. Why not help customers when there is a warranty to keep bringing them back??! Specially someone like me who wears glasses for life!!

Great service - Tony has a very positive attitude and really seems to care about having satisfied customers. I purchased a couple of pairs of prescription glasses at the end of last year after he not only price matched what I was offered elsewhere, but provided me with higher quality lenses. When I received my glasses, I wasn't happy with the colour of the lenses of the sunglasses after trying them out for a few days (and a mix-up resulted in them not being polarized) but I had no trouble getting the lenses exchanged for the ones I wanted and he was happy to answer the questions I had about my prescription. Forward nine months, and an arm of the same sunglasses inexplicably separated while I was wearing them. I returned to Tony hoping at least for some advice on how they could be repaired. Instead, he ordered a new frame for me and is dealing with the manufacturer himself over the defective ones. I know where I will be returning for my future eyewear needs, and have already recommended others see Tony for theirs too.

He recommended a different lens taking this into consideration, and I am much more comfortable working now. Although we live in midtown Toronto, we are more than willing to make the trip to Sherway because of the consistently great service we receive. It's also super convenient that they bill insurance directly - saving us having to make a separate claim after the fact. All around excellent experience every time. Highly recommend.

Legend has it that when Zeus needed bifocals, he flew down from Mount Olympus, taking the form of a Canadian Loon, and visited C Opticians when Tony was working. Zeus was so satisfied with the service and his purchase that he decided to retire to the North Pole and dedicate his life to distributing toys to children he deems worthy once per year. THIS GUY WROTE THE BOOK ON BAD SERVICE! I'm a patient and understanding businessman, but after my brutal and insulting experience - from the owner, no less - at C-Optician, I'm compelled to tell as many people as possible not to shop at this store. The so-called owner - Tony "I'm Fabulous" Chadha, deserves to be melted into a pair of cheap sunglasses and sat upon. My wife and I have spent $3000 on prescription glasses there over the last couple of years and received decent service - as you'd normally expect. Then, when staff at C-Optician accidentally broke my only glasses a month ago, Two-Faced Tony has done nothing but obfuscate and delay ordering an effing 5-cent screw to fix them! Even if he said, "Sorry, we're just stupid" - I'd understand and forgive. But no. Apparently it's easier for this guy to repeatedly slither away and lie to a repeat customer than order a screw. I'm truly awestruck at this guy's lack of basic respect. Great service, Tony! Really "Fabulous". Shop elsewhere friends! - this guy has proved he doesn't deserve your business.

When my son put his glasses on for the first time, he looked at me, cried, and said "Mommy, I can see you now!" That moment is forever etched in my heart, and I owe that to Tony and staff. Finally, during this crazy covid-time, my son accidentally broke his glasses, & (with all social distancing measures in place), Tony was able to repair them. I am so unbelievably thankful. I was looking for frames to replace some broken ones, but I had lenses that were perfectly fine. I went to Lenscrafters (very close by) and they were unable to find any frames that matched the size. I then went to C! and although they couldn't find the exact size they found a close size and sold me the replacement frames and ground the lenses down to fit the frames (at no extra cost). This isn't to slag Lenscrafters, but to point out that C! went above and beyond to help me replace what most opticians were telling me couldn't be done without purchasing new lenses. I recommend C! to anyone, and the prices were competitive, as well.

About 3 days before Sherway shut down due to COVID-19 my wife and I purchased new glasses from C. Our in-store experience was perfect as we were assisted in our choosing of frames by Tony , the owner, and his extremely helpful and patient staff. A couple of days later Sherway was closed and we figured that we would not see our new glasses until the pandemic had subsided. We were very disappointed. However, within a week or two we received a phone call from Tony to let us know that the new specs had come in and that he would deliver them to us anywhere, anytime. I found them to have an excellent selection of modern frames and their ability to help find a perfect pair of glasses every time is remarkable. The things that stands out above anything else is their drive for customer satisfaction. Quite frankly their approach to customer service should be a model that a lot of other business should follow if they want to keep getting repeat business. As an example, I stepped and broke a brand new pair of expensive glasses a few days after pickup (horrible feeling when it happens) and Tony stepped up and fixed them without any questions. I have no clue how this was done but the issue was resolved beyond my satisfaction. Since then I have purchased numerous frames (and sunglasses) for my entire family and have recommended this business to many of friends.

I've been a long time customer of Lenscrafters. I recently broke my glasses and in a panic went to their Sherway location to see if they were able to repair them. They told me even though the glasses were their product, they were not repairable. The sales woman did not offer to take a closer look, consult a technician in the back or look online to see if they could order a part. On top of it all, she started pressuring me into buying a new pair. I wear my glasses 24/7 and cannot see without them. As you can imagine, I started to panic even more. For starters his service is incredible, I have never felt so valued as a customer. To say that he goes the extra mile is an understatement. I have been complimented on every pair I've ever purchased from c!. I have a strong and therefore heavy prescription. The suggestions for me are always considerate of my unique experience as someone who suffers from nearsightedness and astigmatism. Every time my prescription changes, I have to buy new everyday glasses as well as sunglasses. Tony always finds a way to make my purchase affordable. I really like too, how he bills insurance directly so that I can avoid having to file separately after the fact. The turnaround times are fast on new orders, and I always leave with my new glasses feeling and looking great. Adjustments are easy to book but rarely necessary. During the pandemic, we have had to go a couple of times for new frames for my daughter and my husband. They are following strict safety protocols and recommendations. Making an appointment is as easy as a phone call. I have recommended c! to my friends and coworkers without hesitation. I don't have enough good things to say about this company.

The arm off a pair of really old, vintage sunglasses of mine had broken off and I've been trying to get it fixed. I originally took them to Sunglasses Hut to see if they would repair them, and they dismissed the issue right away saying it wasn't possible. I headed to C Opticians right after and they instantly got my information to send the glasses out to be fixed!! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. UPDATE: Picked up my sunglasses today and am so happy with the repair. The staff stayed on top of the issue the whole time and called with updates during the repair process to let me know where my sunglasses were at. Been trying for over a month to get new screws for my frames and have been told on 3 separate occasions by Tony (the owner) that he'll look into it. After all that time, my frames worsened and the remaining screws gave out. I went to their location again and was told by one of their staff that my frames are discontinued and they can't order any parts for them. So the way I look at it: either Tony knew they were discontinued and decided not to tell me or he forgot about me 3 different times. Either reason is garbage. I'll get my new frames somewhere else.

I would like to share with you my most recent experience with C! Opticians at Sherway. I called the store today - Thursday September 21, 2017 at 10:48am. I have been a long time customer with C! I have purchased high end eye glasses and high end sun glasses from this place. And believe you me their stuff does not come cheap. This morning I called to ask for a specific brand and model of eye glasses that I saw from another store and would like to check if they have a comparable price so I can order from them since I've been a long time customer. I was very disappointed with the response I receive from the person who answered the phone. He said if I want to check out their eye glasses feel free to come to the store as he doesn't have time at the moment to provide information to what I was asking for. There was a reason why I called by telephone to check if they have that specific brand or model. I no longer live in the vicinity of Sherway Gardens and it’s a logistics nightmare to go to the store just to go check out what they have or have not or if their price is comparable and end up wasting my time hiking all the way there and ending up empty handed. I gave them the opportunity to keep a long time customer even if that customer has moved out of location but I was very disappointed with the level of customer service I was given. The person was rude and he made me upset with his response. I think it may have been the owner of the store himself who answered the phone. He told me he does not have time for me on the phone because he has other customers at the store and he wished me good luck shopping around. One thing I know for sure I am not stepping foot at that store EVER AGAIN! After all, I am just 1 unimportant customer anyway.

Very overpriced. They carry a brand of glasses that I wanted and I went in there multiple times. I was always told they can work out a deal with the costmers. I went in fully preparing to buy two pairs and told them my budget hoping for a fair price when the owner told me they have the best prices around. Well I told them I didn't want to spend a certain amount and the owners quoted me exactly the amount that I didn't want to spend. Didn't seem like I was getting any deals at all so I left. I since went to 3 other optical stores that carry the same brands and each one had much better prices than this store. I ended up getting the two pairs that I wanted for almost $400 less than I would have paid at this place. I would recommend you shop around!!

Lens Crafters has lost another client to C! Opticians! As a creature of habit, even though I was never thoroughly satisfied with Lens Crafters, I just kept going back to them. For a number of years, my best friend, Louie Gialedakis has been telling me to "Go see Tony, at C! Optician's,' he's the best I've ever dealt with, and now I send my entire family to him and all of my friends. Your the only friend that I've recommended to Tony, that hasn't gone to see him! GO!" To get to Tony's store, 'C! Opticians,' I had to walk right past Lens Crafters, so I found the 'pull,' too great, went into Lens Crafters, tried on some frames, went through their ridiculous 'discounting math,' and finally walked out with a quote. I then went into 'C! Opticians' met Tony, and he asked me a very interesting question. "Dan, I've been here at Sherway Gardens for 13 years, and you tell me you've been going to Lens Crafters for 22 years. How is it that for 13 years you would walk right past my store, to go to Lens Crafters?" Then Tony asked me another important question: "Dan, what could I have done to have earned your business earlier?" I struggled to answer those questions, but the best (kind of feeble) answer that I could come up with was, simply this: "Tony, I guess I am a creature of habit, and even though I had to walk right past your store, to get to Lens Crafters, quite honestly, it didn't even occur to me to walk into your store." Why am I being so candid? Once Tony found me the right frames to fit my face, he analyzed the lenses in my glasses. When I bought the lenses, I thought that I was buying the best, from Lens Crafters. At least... that is what they had led me to believe. Tony educated me on what actually constituted the 'best' in an eye glass lens, and he also informed me that 'Nikon,' produced the 'best' eye glass lenses. As a Professional Hockey Photographer, I sure am aware of the amazing lenses that Nikon makes for their Pro Camera's, however, never was I informed about Nikon, nor (obviously) was I given the option to purchase Nikon Lenses, for my eye glasses. Tony put together, what I would now summarize, as 'the best possible package - consisting of Carrera Frames and Nikon Eye Glass Lenses, priced them out, and about 10 days later, placed the finished product on my face. The frames fit perfectly. The glasses made my eyes 'relax,' and helped me to see with a visual acuity, that I immediately became aware - was MISSING in the glasses I had purchased from Lens Crafters. Imagine that? 22 years, buying 2-5 pair of eye glasses every 2 years, and never quite being satisfied, always having to go back to Lens Crafters for adjustments or lens replacements, because the lenses were not properly made for my prescription, to all of the sudden WIPE OUT all of that angst, frustration, and poor to average prescription eye glasses - with one proper fitting, including frames and lenses? It has now been a week since I picked up my two new pair of prescription eye glasses, and one pair of prescription sun glasses, and I have not had any problems. Tony, at 'C! Opticians,' has won me over as a customer, because he knows exactly what he is doing, takes exceptionally great care, and because he was very reasonably priced. Tony is the consummate pro and I am so happy that I FINALLY listened to my best friend, Louie Gialedakis, and went to see Tony for new glasses. Don't tell Louie that I admitted this. My wife went into this specific store because we know they sell Chanel. She had damaged the frame of her beloved sunglasses, one of a kind glasses and figured they should be able to fix it. The girl that first helped, took a look at the broken frame and immediately raised concern saying they would first have to see if Chanel would even have the tiny screw needed and it is highly unlikely they can fix it. Instead she kept asking her if she wanted to see the new glasses they had. Then the gentlemen who I believe is the owner took a look at the glasses and made a huge deal about how broken they were and how highly unlikely that anyone can ever fix them and told her that she should forget about them and move on. We knew the glasses were damaged but he made it sound so bad that my wife left the store in tears because she really like the glasses and wanted them fixed. We went to Eyeglass Repair downtown and the owner didn't even blink at the damage and fixed it in 15 mints for half the price. C! obviously don't have the expertise they say they do and as a huge fan of Chanel sunglasses, I can definitely say she won't be buying her next pair at C!.

The staff at C are very professional and knowledgeable and I never feel pressured to buy something. They always take their time in helping me select frames which fit my style and budget. Their inventory is better than anywhere else. The service is really fast. They only sell the best brands of eyewear. I came in to buy glasses 10 minutes before closing and the staff was still very helpful and accommodating. If you're looking for glasses the selection is huge and they carry a lot of frame styles that are very difficult to find elsewhere. The price i got in store was lower than i could find anywhere online, very happy with my experience

They are very expensive and give poor service. The first pair of glasses I bought were fit very badly. I had to go back 4 times and still not right. For the second pair they put the wrong shape lens in. When I phoned to discuss with owner he became very rude and unprofessional on the phone and cut me off without even letting me finish my sentence. He made me very uncomfortable. I will never go back there.

I have been going to C Opticians at Sherway for over 10 years and can honestly say they are the best, Tony and his team are first class and the choices I have made for reading and sun glasses have been awesome. I recently had a pair of Oakley's broken while I was playing road hockey. I came to see Tony to see if he could get them fixed at a reasonable cost. A couple of weeks later Tony let me know they were back and ready to go. When I asked him how much? He simply replied that it's "all part of the service, no charge" I replied with a very warm "thank-you and that's why you get all of my business".
