Use caution! This person is on her own and does not have the same resources as larger company. She doesn’t have co-workers to ask advice and she doesn’t do enough business to have full support from suppliers. She has a ‘NO REFUNDS NO RETURNS under any circumstances’ policy which I did not know about until after the fact. In my case she was not able to deal with my particular request (even though she said she could). I got one pair of glasses from her, but they weren’t working for me. She did not order another lens for me to try (which is standard industry practice), and so, after months of delays and excuses (the main one being my computer screen was too high, even though I couldn’t see laptop either!), she finally said I should go somewhere else because “she couldn’t make me happy.” However, she was only prepared to refund 1/3 of the amount I gave her. It was only after a third party got involved, and more months went by, before a return of 2/3 the amount I gave her was returned. The frames that I had purchased made up part of the amount that I received, but they were so damaged after she removed the lenses, that I could not sell them, which is what I was hoping to do. So really, I didn’t even get 2/3. The optician I went to after her had no problem working with my prescription, and I had glasses that I could see with within 2 weeks (and I could see my computer screen fine). If you just have a basic single vision prescription, and you are prepared to purchase frames from her stock, I’m sure she will be fine, but anything more complicated than that, and I would highly recommend you go somewhere else. She even sent my back to my optometrist at one point for an additional prescription for an office lens (I had to pay for the visit) because she was not able to do that on her own. The next optician I went to had no problem with the office lens and was surprised she had sent me back to my optometrist. Also, she is no cheaper than any other place I checked into, but I went with her initially because she had promised better service than the others could provide. My experience with her is that was not the case.
