I walked in here with a sunburn on my eyes and I was on vacation traveling from Toronto. I bought the Maui Jim sunglasses and if you can afford them I would completely recommend making the purchase because good polarized lenses are really the ones that get the job done. The staff is friendly and they really want everyone to walk out satisfied. Totally recommended.

The pre testing is comprehensive to say the least. The staff was very patient and in depth. If you are looking to take amazing care of your eyes while also dealing with a great team. Well, Throw those old frames out and get a new pair so you don't have to look any further!.

The service was top notch! My eye exam ended at 18:45 and when I walked in to settle the bill I asked if I could have my fitting done this very night. The office closes at 19:00 and both Tanya, the Optician, and Nicki, the receptionist, volunteered to stay and fit me with glasses. Taking away from their personal time and family to assist a client is down East Service with a smile that everyone should experience. I highly recommend taking your prescription and visiting the staff so you can experience this level of Customer Service yourself.

My lens popped out of my sunglasses. I did not purchase the sunglasses from Mermaid. I was 20 mins prior to their opening. I was helped, lenses fixed, when they had no obligation to help me before store hours, or not having purchased them at their location. A+ customer service, I’ll be buying my next pair of high end glasses from them. Ty!
