Friendly staff. Had a coupon for up to %20 off and when they rung in my purchase it was 3% discount. They said that the coupon does say 'up to' so that was it. 3% is not even close to 20%, so I feel like it is false advertising and yet they did nothing. Will shop elsewhere in the future.

I just was not impressed by the selection
I really hate going in here, sometimes there's no choice if you really need something and Walmart doesn't have it but the source and it's staff have one priority, sell bell mobility and home services. Maybe it's the commission from the phone sales, but it's awful when a client wants to buy something quickly and the staff are so preoccupied with bell mobility that they don't even bother to acknowledge the presence of other non bell customers.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff! Aaron and Chumani were the ones that helped me and did an incredible job! Patient with me when I had questions, gave me all the time I needed before making a decision and were super nice! I'd definitely go back there again for my electronic needs and plus their manager was also super helpful and friendly! All in all a good experience!
Staff was attentive and helped to try and track down what I was looking for. The Source did not have what I needed, but the Staff (Brenda) took my contact details and offered to do a search for the part. She got back to me by email later that day with the contact details of one of her suppliers that she felt could find something for me at a cheaper price. Great customer service... Thanks!

They had very little in stock. Almost nothing from they're online store was present. The employees knew nothing about the tablets I were looking for and couldn't tell me any more than the tiny blurbs written on the item tags.
Overpriced, under stocked, seem to lack the most common of items. They never try to help. Might as well order online and/or travel to shop.

I've lived in St. John's for years and I find this store much of the same. Great customer service just a little pushy on the plans. That is more of the fact that's how they make pay is commission. I was working here i would be much of the same. My only complaint is that some of the workers can be a bit unknown of technology they sell,and they try to pull it off like they know it all anyways.

Was very disappointed in the lack of items that interest me but overall not a bad experience if you just need games, headphones, or phone accessories. About what you can expect from a mall setup.

Has been rebuilt onto warrs pharmacy. The prices are a little steep and they dont usually carry anything of a quality brand, or at least they sellout of stock quickly leaving cheap no name brands. If your looking for bang for your buck you would be better off ordering from Amazon.

I was very disappointed in the staff at this store. My 83 father purchased a ps5 and had to pick up person. Well that’s understandable but they stated that they cannot carry it out for him. My father has mobility issues and the staff could and would not help him. This was very discouraging to see staff have no empathy or compassion for the Elderly. It made me so upset that I will not enter the store again in my lifetime anyway.

The customer service and expertise is amazing
Terrible customer service. Recommended the wrong product, refused to refund because we didn't have the original card it was purchased with, then we we did have it (the cardholder was out of town previously for work), they refused to refund since it was 15 days past purchase. Their Facebook page is full of similar horror customer experience stories. Avoid at all costs. Go to Superior Sound instead. They set the bar really high for customer excellence, for any industry.

Fighting off hordes of zombie ninjas, I backflipped in to the store anticipating my next death defying adventure complete with laser cats, t-rexes and explosions, but boy, was I wrong! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and not ONCE did they try to kill me. Picard transported me down the tv I bought the previous day and I had no issue returning it for another. Yes, I had a problem and they did everything they could to make it right. I ended up with an upgrade (which I happily paid a bit more for) and still no attempts on my life. AWESOME. Highly recommend.

Ordered a new keyboard for my laptop in May and never got it and they do not call you when stuff is in or ready for pick up. They are to expensive as well. Best Buy is the better place for gettng good service. They are on top of everything especially calling you when product is ready or giving you information on what needs to be done

On one specific occasion, the Manager went above and beyond to prepare for the release of a limited quantity new product, to ensure there was no confusion or confrontation among customers! She came in ahead of opening hours, on her day off to support staff and help them set up before opening. It’s evident staff are well trained and motivated. I had a great experience at the source in the mayflower mall, all of the staff was extremely welcoming and a gentleman by the name of Austin helped me get all set up for a new phone. He explained all the different plans and was not forceful on anything. He was a tremendous help and I would recommend anyone going into the source to ask for Austin. The behavior of the manger Rose in this store is unbelievable and unacceptable oh also unbelievably unprofessional. I've watched this woman almost scream at an older lady over her being confused and asking questions which is outrageous because there is no reason to ever really need to raise your voice with a customer unless they've become aggressive first. I've spent probably spent a few thousand at this store on a laptop, switch light insta carma a whole bunch and EVERY single time I go into this store the manger Rose shoots me a dirty look and I've never even really spoken to her. It's just unbelievably unprofessional and i don't understand how anyone thought it would be a great idea to make the awful old mangers wife the next manager, because she has CLEARLY taken his footsteps. Not to mention i cant belive they allow him in the store after some of the things I've heard.

Used to absolutely hate going to the source just left the store had a great experience. The lady working was extremely nice and helpful and helped me find the best deal on a laptop i could. After dealing with the lady at Walmart the sources customer service was 100x better.

I’ve tried to call a few times in the last few months about different things I was looking for. Mostly office supplies for my business. Oh well. Dropped in for a quick visit during our trip across the province heading to Gros Morne from our home in St John's. The reason for this visit was an unexpected one and we googled electronics stores in the area. At the time of the visit we were looking for an auxiliary cord that could connect a pixel 2 to 1/8" aux.... Something that is very hard to get lol. We were quickly welcomed by the sales associate and he was very knowledgeable of the request (he mentioned his wife had the same phone and knew that getting adapters for it was tricky). He gave a few suggestions to check out and we were extremely grateful for his help. This employee went above and beyond and due to the visit we had we would highly recommend him and the store.... Unfortunately I can't remember the name but if the manager reads this the employee was working on Aug 4th. He's doing a bang up job.

The stock information online is inaccurate. I drove across town for a specific adapter that was in stock online and of course it wasn't.
I bought an online gift card at this store today and was never told before purchasing that there were no refunds. When I went to scratch the card to see the numbers needed to redeem it the numbers came off just as easily as the substance that is supposed to be stretchable. I phoned the store to see if there was any recourse, the manager was un apologetic and told me that I "must have scratched it wrong" when I said that wasn't the case she hung up on me... I understand that they didn't make the card but They could have at least given me a number to call or something like that. I found all this very unpleasant and unprofessional and wont be shopping there in the future.

The staff at this particular store have always been helpful and friendly, but I stopped shopping at The Source years ago when Bell bought The Source. Bell is absolutely the worst company in Canada and as such they, or their affiliates, won't be seeing a dime from me.

This gentleman presented some options and explained completely the differences and costs associated. He listened to what we wanted and he suggested the iPhone we did purchase. The staff is above and beyond friendly however I wish the owner(s) took more pride in their store I wish they would put out laptops for display and fix their phone display which looks like it's thrown together and they can't be bothered to put an out of stock sticker instead they direct you to a case near the desk ... What's the point of the display it would also help if the owner put in an effort to fix the severely outdated computer systems so that employees don't lose out on sales due to poor money management on the owners behalf . Their computer systems are so slow I've seen people walk out ... They don't have enough stock and when they do it's thrown near the back instead of facing the doors and being opened for everyone to see or even being in plain sight . The associates are so awesome the owners allowing their business to continue to look like this and make it a horrible place for their employees to work not so much

Disappointed with the source. I was hoping to get an item for my family funeral and the gate to the store was closed. I was unable to purchase my item. The lady appeared to be clueless on times of operation for the day. “Maybe they are on their lunch?” Clearly was definitely not will to help me out. Thank goodness for North Mart coming to my rescue. Perhaps staff should keep the gate open until correct time of closure.
Charged $75.00 plus tax to partially dismantle (not repair) my son's laptop. Unable to repair but still charged full price. As technicians, they should have known that they couldn't completely dismantle and repair this particular model. This is not great for a person on a budget who now has to buy a new laptop. Poor customer relations. He feels as though he has been robbed. This store is NOT a Source franchise.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Debbie and Jacob, Who have handled my device activation in my new account with Bell I cannot express how great both of their services were Debbie Is a remarkable manager for this location she personally Took responsibility for an issue that resulted in me losing my phone number she didn’t cause this error as another location did. but she quickly figured out how to get my number back to me I’ve had my number for over three years and Debbie was able to restore it perfectly for me. Not only did she sign me up for my new services but I will continue to go back to her every year when I upgrade my device or have any issues that I feel she could resolve. I cannot express my gratitude for Debbie. She is a remarkable asset for The Source and whoever needs to be told she is very much entitled to a pay raise or a hefty bonus on how remarkable she is. I had to replace a gaming head-set that was under warranty and while they didn't have the exact same model, I had no issues replacing it with a similar priced item. The staff was very friendly and attentive, they were knowledgeable about the products and I had a good experience there.

Was trying to return a product that wasn't compatible with what I needed it for. The employee who was working at the time was very helpful trying to resolve the issue, however his manager and co workers whom he had to call as he was unfamiliar on how to process a refund without receipt were reluctant to help. It's as if the money was coming out of their own pocket. The manager who the employee called over the phone first almost wanted nothing to do with me, said there was no way to do a refund without receipt even though The Source website says in-store credits are available. The second employee he called also wasn't very willing to help but tried to help the in-store employee process the request. But in the end, they weren't able to refund me because the item wasn't in the recent transaction list. God forbid someone loses their receipt. Thanks to the employee who helped me in-store you did everything you could, but the other employees were useless and seemed uninterested in helping at all.
Twice I have driven to store to get Purolator parcels on Saturday and both times they are closed although they indicate online as being open Saturday at 10 am. A long drive for me to town. Please update your online information.

Well I was there once and I want to get a type-c USB cable for my phone my brand new phone which wasn't even a week old and one of the associates dropped my phone and then has it back to me said everything's okay but upon examining it there was a chip in the phones frame and red paint from some something behind the corner the gentleman was like oh really the phone so slippery, I was very disappointed I keep my electronics device in mint condition and like is to come back in a couple days and talk with the owner and we'll figure something out I don't really have time with work and the hours that the source has so I haven't really returned and I don't think I ever will if I'm not desperate for electronics I'm just going to use Amazon cuz that's a guarantee there and it'll drop anything I have to do they just replace it.

I have been looking for a great deal on phones and service for awhile and Colin was able to not only help me get a great deal but also set it to below my budget. I have to share the best experience that I have had ever had at any electronics store. My partner recently bought me a computer for my birthday. It had an issue and I thought that I lost my files. Because it had not been 30 days, they were able to replace it for me. Now... I was a bit stressed that some important files were lost....BUT... two wonderful associates were determimed to hp me. They actually were able to retrieve my most important files. I cannot thank them enough. I also think they are fabulous and represent your company so well. Because of this, they deserve recognition. I went in to do a switch onban xbox controller through the amazing warranty program! There were none in stock at the time, but they promptly called me as soon as they got one (either later that day or the next day, I dont remember exactly.)
