Sun + Clear lens glasses for Aviation Pilot's needs - amazing technical and quality service. I was looking for a smaller optical store who could better service my needs which required not only why non-polarized eyeware is required for aviation, but who would take the time to really understand the short distance (instrumentation), and longer distance (airspace traffic scanning) requirements that any General Aviation or Commercial Aviation pilot needs. Paul was outstanding. Great listener, great technician and careful inspected both pairs of glasses as they came in, adjusting the fitting for me.

This shop has some really funky and fashionable frames! I got some high end prescription sports glasses (Oakley) with special add-ons like transition, polarization, anti fog and glare, etc. to make my eyes as comfortable as possible. I have chronic pain and my eyes get sore and sensitive from light, and tired from squinting and just being used in general, so these help! A positive experience with the optometrist during my eye exam, and sales staff also, they helped me by repairing the arm on an unrelated pair of glasses which I thought was amazing customer service. I recommend and I’ll be back.

After visiting about seven other optical stores across Vancouver, I finally ended up at Prestige Optical! The minute I walked in and saw the display of frames, I knew I had found the right place. If I could have purchased five pairs, I would have done so. In the end, I purchased two! (One is still on hold!) The team was so helpful! And, fun! And the expertise of all of them was remarkable. I was very pleased with the examination and the fitting of the glasses. But the most astounding thing is that I can now see perfectly at any distance. If you're looking for a positive experience, please go here! I walked in one day and Paul was super helpful and so friendly from the moment I got there. He let me try on a bunch of glasses, gave me space when I needed it, and was super patient with my shennigans! There's a nice selection of frames and a nice broad range in pricing so there's something for everyone. The turn around time was also awesome! Barely 2 business days and I had my new glasses before the end of the second day. Needless to say, I'll be going here if I ever need something glasses-related from here out. Have already recommended this location to a couple of my friends. Thanks again Paul!

I was in a bind. It was the Saturday before Christmas and it became clear to me that my one pair of eyeglasses were, well, no longer clear. Scratched and with an outdated prescription my glasses were toast. I had planned to read for most of my holiday and I was in a panic. I did a quick Google search for glasses made the same day and Prestige Optical came up. I called and asked if they still had time to get me a new pair of reading glasses that day and they said hurry in. I did and wow am I happy. Paul did a quick consult, vision test and we shopped frames. He made me a pair of reading glasses that day which I put to use immediately. And while I was there I picked out frames for all day progressives and for office/computer only. Now I'm a picky fella when it comes to my vision for different use scenarios and Paul worked with me patiently as we went through a few tweaks to the lenses. Meaning he sent some back for fine tuning based on my specific needs. He was amazing. Paul's personal attention to my needs and dedication to my satisfaction is exemplary!! Next is a pair of prescription sunglasses. Can't wait. Highly recommend Prestige Optical on West Broadway!

Huge variety, high quality, exceptional service, competitive prices even comparable to Costco. I did an extensive research before buying from Paul's. I cannot describe in words the experience sice you open the door. I bought my glasses two years ago and they still in great shape. I got the best quality of lenses in the market and I can't be happier. I come regularly to get some adjustments and Paul's always remember me. He offers a service just like I would do if it was my business. Therefore, I always recommend to all my friends if they need glasses. If you have extended insurance, please do not hesitate to come to this store. It's definitely the best option in the market, even better than Costco in my opinion.

Best optician in Vancouver in my opinion! The selection of glasses is huge. I can be quite picky and I have a "bad" habit of always optimising to get the best, so I must have tried over 25 different glasses over 3 visits. The optician, Paul, is gifted with an in-depth knowledge of everything vision. We found the most comfortable, aesthetically fitting and enjoyable frame I have owned in 20 years. It turned out to be the frameless type. Despite my -3.75 prescription, Paul leveraged different lense technologies to make the thinnest and lightest lenses I have ever worn. I am impressed and I highly recommend.

Google searched for same day glasses and Prestige came up. Called Paul at 12:51pm Feb 10, 2021 and made appointment for eye exam (to get my prescription) for 2pm same day. Paid fair price for a pair of glasses and prescription at 2:45pm, and the nice folks called me at 3:30pm to pick up glasses. This is the smoothest and best experience I’ve ever had purchasing glasses. I would recommend this to anyone and their mothers! A++
