Outstanding service from Ron

My negative experience started with the elderly gentleman telling my son he couldn’t try on the glasses of his choice because, “they were for girls”. After repeatedly explaining that we are happy for him to try on whatever he wanted, he turned to me and said I couldn’t try on what I wanted because, “they are for men”. Against my better judgment we still ordered new glasses from this store. When I next took my son to his eye doctor they told me his glasses had the wrong prescription. Back I went to the store furious that my son has been wearing the wrong prescription for 6 months. Instead of an apology and taking responsibility, Ronen (the owner) told me, “what’s done is done, let’s move on and just get them fixed”. Completely unprofessional. Incredibly disappointing.

I had such a wonderful experience in Eye Fashion Optical. Previously I had eye doctor exam and prescription from different place to buy glasses from shopper drug mart over counter glasses, because I needed them only for reading. I never heard that lenses for eye glasses for reading could be compound of two zones, for computer and book/phone, when looking in the computer we look straight and use middle part of lenses, when reading text on phone is done from lower part of lenses. For some people lenses can cover three distances and make vision to adjust easily. I love the technology! I have work insurance, but it happened that I didn't know what amount could be covered and I was happy when Ronen found out this information for me contacting my insurance company. I was able to make my order the same day. I was stunned by glasses selection in the store and help to move in right direction. I had such a picky vision of what I wanted, but even for my conservative look there were so many options that few minutes later I had hard time to decide what to choose. And again, because of professionalism in great personalities of staff I was able to narrow down my choice and to choose glasses that will make me look professional and beautiful. Thank you so much to Ronen and Ilya for your great assistance, your patience and kindness. Wishing you success and help many people who struggle with problem of finding good fit and model.
